Since some of us are finding out what we are having with our NIPT results I thought we could go ahead and make this thread.

Vote when you find out so we have a running tally and then announce in the comments.

I left team green off so everyone who is team green can vote when they find out in November.

I'm hoping for team blue, just because it'll be easier for living arrangements at home, but to be honest whatever gender our baby is, he/she will be loved lots by maman, papa and 2 siblings

@Mczzi7788 - I took my test on Thursday and got my results from my doctor on Wednesday, online from Natera the next morning. Natera won’t get them until your doctor releases them so it may take longer if your doctor’s practice is super busy?? Good luck!

My NIPT is on Thursday...cant decide if I want to know the gender or not. I've seen some ask that the Dr put it in an envelop to open later with their partner if they decide to know...is anyone else doing that?

Just got the call with my NIPT results 🙌🙌🙌 Everything was good and...BOY! Was hoping for a girl bc I have a son, but I’m still totally thrilled. 💙

@maenot123 That's what we are doing. Got NIPT results Tuesday but had them put that in an envelope that I'll pick up Friday and we will open on a day trip we are taking this weekend.

I just got my NIPT results this morning...and it's a BOY!!! I'm super stoked. We were kind of hoping for a girl, but still thrilled. My hubs really wanted a girl, but he'll come around. He's happy that I'm considered low risk.

I had already named the baby because I felt in my core that it was a boy so now I guess that name is permanent.

@mvc003 I have been right about the sex of 4 out of 5 of my babies. The one I missed was because I was stubbornly hoping for a girl and refused to think of anything else. Congrats on team blue!

@emeraldcity1214 haha that's wild!! You have great instincts! I just really felt it. Even though I wanted a girl, I couldn't imagine that the baby was actually a girl. So weird! hehe

@mvc003 my body responds very differently to a boy vs girl pregnancy. I have horrible MS with girls and barely any symptoms at all with boys. When I start complaining about how sick I am, my husband always says, "you must be carrying a girl." 😂

Soooo....we looked at results today and we are having a GIRL!!! So excited! I was convinced it was a boy for some completely unscientific reason but I think now that I know it has really hit me how fun it will be to have a little girl! My husband is thrilled, I think he liked the idea of taking care of 'his girls.' 🌸🌸🌸🌸

I just called for my Verifi results!! All abnormalities were negative, and it’s a girl!! Our third princess!! I’m so excited. I kind of had a gut feeling all along, but I was so happy to hear it!

Question for all you ladies that did the NIPT testing. Did you ask for it, or was it brought up by your Dr.? I asked my Dr. About it and she acted like it was some sort of brand new thing that nobody really did, and then she told me it would be $200 out of pocket, per test (down syndrome, trisomy 13, etc). She kind of made me feel like if abortion wasn't on the table I should just wait til the anatomy scan since I don't have any risk factors. It seems like everyone I know is getting it though, and it makes me wonder why my Dr. Seems so against it.
