R/R: got woken up by the storms and haven’t been able to get back to bed. Hoping to hear back from my RE about starting clomid this coming cycle, which I am starting to get anxious about.
Edit: spoke to the RE. Sperm Analysis came back normal and it’s a go for clomid 😬
R/R: We are going to sign our contract on our house purchase in a little bit. Yay! It's a nice distraction from the fact this cycle looks like another nope.
R/R: I can't stand penny pinchers. Story in spoiler.
All the SILs are organizing a baby shower for one of the SILs next month. Since it's 5 of us, we usually pick an expensive gift. We picked the $120 high chair. That's $25/person. All of us see each other at least once a week so $25 isn't crazy. That's what I usually spend for a cousin I haven't seen in the last 10 years. Anyway, everybody is OK with that except one SIL. Since she is giving the mom-to-be her 5+ y/o bassinet, that's her contribution. Okayyyyy. Fine. The organizer then tries to find a cheaper gift. Which is the $40 diaper Genie. OMG, if it's only 4 of us buying the high chair instead of 5, our contribution goes from $25 to $30. We can spend $30 for a SIL we see several times/week. Geez!
CS/Q: trend/temps are looking exactly like previous cycles.

@kbrown2385 yay for a good SA! Hope Clomid helps you.
@kerco925 yay for a new house! You're right, it's going to be a nice distraction. Waht are your immediate plans to make this house yours? Any upgrade, painting?
@madcouplewithabox TK/TB/TN is notoriously bad for IT stuff. It blows my mind. Nothing has changed in 15 years

Timing: -2 and +1 ...questionable if I have O right
Typical LP length: 11 days
Testing: wfaf...we'll see though
R/R: This weekend was great! Saturday I did so much yard work, but barely made a dent to what is left to do. Sunday was a waste since it poured rain all day. I have a missed call from my Dr so I'll have to see what that's about.
CS/Q: I know the best way would be to post my chart but I'm still figuring out the best way to do that. My question is when do you consider O. Is it a) the first day of the temp spike (opks go lighter) b) the day before the temp spike (opks are dark). My chart is usually very consistent with having a low temp then 3 clear high temps. This cycle though I never had a true dark OPK. Any insight would be great
@kbrown2385 we had intense storms here last night as well! @kerco925 congratulations on the house! That's always exciting @rikiteacup that story drives me crazy, especially since its so may people contributing for the one item. I had something similar with a group of bridesmaids for my cousins bachelorette years ago.
@c1kc1kpol1cn1k O is the day before the temp spike. Once you see that spike, you're 1DPO. Don't base O day on OPKs. They just indicate an LH surge. Nothing else. O can happen 12-48 hours after your 1st positive. Or not happen at all, even with + OPK (Ovulation Prediction Kit, that's the important word here).

@c1kc1kpol1cn1k your timing is in the fertile window so you're good. Once in the fertile window is all that is needed.

@rikiteacup We have so many things we plan to change in the house. A new kitchen (hopefully right away) floors downstairs, and painting basically every room. Looking forward to making it our own!
