Just wondering how long after losing your mucous plug did you go into labor as a FTM!? (Bit of history... I am 39 weeks measuring 41 weeks dialated to 2cm and 80% effaced all measured at 38, 4 days...)
Doesn’t really mean much as it can regrow. Or come out in pieces over a period of time. I think all it really tells at this point is that things are progressing but at 2cm and 80% that’s already obvious.
Also everyone is different and their body will react differently.
I don’t even remember losing mine the first time around.
Baby will come when baby will come.

I was 4cm dilated 60% effaced on Monday. (At this point it could be even further along.). I've been losing my mucous plug all week (today is Thursday). It depends on your definition of soon. I mean this baby will come soon, but not necessarily today or tomorrow.
I lost mine on Sunday (5 days ago) and no baby. I have had a fair amount of spotting through the week too. I feel like interpreting all the strange happenings at the end of pregnancy to try and figure out when baby will arrive is about as good as looking into a crystal ball. So frustrating!
FTM I lost mine last week at 36 weeks. No baby or other symptoms since. That was real motivation to pack my hospital bag and get things done around our place. Hoping he stays in there for 3 more weeks!
I lost mine at 34 weeks and didn't deliver until I was induced at 37 + 3 - I could have easily went to term had I not been induced. It really isn't a good indicator of labor.

Basically meaning that it doesn’t mean anything unfortunately.
