Soooo I don’t have my anatomy scan for another 2 weeks, but I’m 17 weeks with my 2nd pregnancy and not feeling a ton of movement-that’s worrying me because I’m scared I might have an anterior placenta. I know that it’s not a big deal, but I had an emergency c section and am planning an elective this time and I’ve heard anterior can cause problems with this. Soooo...does anyone know if this looks anterior or posterior? This was my 12 wk scan.
The placenta is still developing at 12 weeks so sometimes it can be hard to see. But I’d have to say that looks anterior without scanning you myself.
I wouldn’t really worry about the placenta in reguards to the CS. Most of the time they move up higher in the uterus so it should be out of the way of a lower CS. But the doctors will have that assessed as your pregnancy progresses and go from there.
