  • I use hydrocortizone cream. Just a thin layer, helps a ton with dry skin.

  • I use creamy vaseline.  My DS started with a dry scalp and it ended up with craddle cap, not saying that that will happen, but I have heard that somethings (like leaving baby oil on the scalp) can aggravate.
  • Good question.  DD has a ton of hair so I don't use anything- I don't want her hair to be all greasy and look like she's dirty.  It looks like she has dandruff.
  • You can use Head & Shoulders (small dab) when you give him a bath. It works great for cradle cap too. You don't want to use lotion because babies skin needs to learn to self moisturize. I know it sounds weird, but that is what our pediatrician told us. Also, brush what hair he does have every day with the fine tooth comb that comes with baby grooming kits. This will lift a lot of it out (especially if the hair is wet). You do need to clean it out though or it will come back out in his hair :)
