There are days that DH's twin really annoys me. I knew going into this that twins have a close bond, and I would have to share him, that doesn't bother me. What bothers me is that his twin in older by 8 minutes, and think that means he can boss DH around, and DH lets him.
He has helped us move twice, once when we were engaged and he and DH drove my stuff from my apartment in NY down to our apartment in MD, and then again when we bought our house. When we bought our house, we asked all of DH's and my brother's to help, gave them a month warning, and bribed them all with pizza, and he grumbled the whole time. (He was single at the time)
Now he and his wife just bought a house, and he called DH yesterday and said "We have to be out of our rental soon, and the only day available to move is Sunday, so we're moving then, and you're helping." DH said "That's not enough advanced notice, we have plans." To which he replied "Too bad."

SUNDAY IS THEIR BIRTHDAY!!!! We have had a birthday lunch on the calendar for weeks. FIL and I are both telling DH that he can help after the lunch, but he shouldn't cancel. I hope he listens to us.

My husband drives me so crazy some days. I checked into our flights and sent him the boarding passes to print. The subject of the email literally said “Please print.” I just got home and asked if he printed it. Nope. He thought it was usable on our phone.

Our flight is at 10 AM tomorrow so we can’t print it. Since we’re not checking bags, I was planning to get there and go straight through security with our boarding passes but now we need to go even earlier.

This could have been avoided if 1) you read my email or 2) confirmed with me via text instead of sending me 100 useless texts. 😡😡😡😡

I was forced to move offices yesterday. I am so sick of people telling me that my new office is "such a better office", it's smaller, but it's fine I don't need people to try to make me feel better about having to move offices after 2 years in the same office and like I made out on the deal. I'm also sick of people telling me that I need to hang stuff up. I really don't care if my office is decorated. I come, I sit, I work. I don't need it to feel homey.

Someone in my company (who works at a different site) decided to personally email me yesterday to basically tell me how she thinks I should do my job *overstep much?!* I told my manager about it who got just as ragey for me as apparently she doesn't like her either. My manager ended up calling her and basically telling her to leave her people alone and worry about her own people and my manager even elevated to our site director. The lady ended up calling me personally to apologize, but still, way out of line. It's nice to know my boss (and bosses above her) have my back.

@EmilyA724 I moved offices about a year ago and people say all the time I need to decorate. I’m not a big decorator, even at home, just a few pictures of the kids. If I ever frame my diplomas I’ll bring them in it’s just not a priority. I spend 99% of my time staring at my computer screen and only occasionally glance out the window, so it really doesn’t bother me!

I started a new job in February, right in the middle of my industry's busy season. I got a call today from a woman who said she normally does massages for the staff during this time, and did we have any interest this year. Being NEW, I emailed the appropriate people, and I got very snippy responses about how it's "too late now." I'm probably being too hormonal and sensitive right now, but I'm really annoyed no one thought to mention this to me and then chastise me when I had no freaking clue.

Guys.. I had an appt today. Every ultrasound has said my due date changed from September 4-August 27. I’ve confirmed this each time I’m in the office. I was unable to do the first trimester screening months ago because of this issue. The doctors and nurses confirm but then don’t update the system so I have to remind them every single time I’m there and then they spend 15mins staring at the computer screen going ‘yep.. you are right ..’ today I got really frustrated because yet again the Dr is sitting there reading all the notes and goes ‘ok I’m changing it now.’ She then gets up to measure my belly and goes ‘whoa you are measuring 20weeks!’ So I’m like so what does that mean?? When is this baby due?? And then she gets called out of the room and never came back. I’m so frustrated. My AS is next Friday so at least I have that to look forward to.

@mia8263 From what I understand, it's pretty common for dating measurements to start getting pretty "off" around now. Were you tracking your cycles/ovulation when you conceived?

@mia8263 I have had the same issue... they insist on going by LMP but that is NOT when i ovulated, I ovulated a week later. at my first dating appointment my MW and I compromised on my EDD because the baby was measuring a few days ahead from O. The only reason I care is I want my VBAC and I went late with my last one, so every day counts. They have to correct my EDD at every single appointment and even though the nurse corrected it (again) prior to my US, it was still wrong on my US. sigh..... I wish I had just lied about my LMP...

@oklahomak I wasn’t tracking it because my cycles are always so off. I didn’t even think until Mid January that I had missed a period. My dates have been off since the beginning it’s just frustrating.

@wabash15 my original due date was 9/4 and they went off when I thought my last menstrual was but even the first us showed it was off. I make big babies so I dont to be a week off because of a mistake. My DS1 was 8.1 and my DS2 was 9.8lbs so I’m petrified of this one being much bigger. I just want everyone on the same page..

@mia8263 I am also worried about the size of this, my third child.

DS1 8 lb 3 oz @ 38 weeks
DS2 9 lb 4 oz @ 37 weeks

DH and his sister were both 10+ lbs.

I asked my OB at one of the first appointments if it’s true that babies get bigger the more you have. Apparently it’s an urban legend. We shall see come August, lol!

I'm hoping for a small baby lol Both DH and I were about 7.5 lbs and my sisters all had small 5-7 lb babies. Heres hoping!

@thirdtimesacharm2019 I feel like that is an urban legend. DD was first at 8lb3oz DS was second at 8lb0oz. My bio mom had 4 kids, I was the first and was her largest. But yeah, for your sake I hope this one is not any bigger!

WTF Friday...I’m scrolling through my Facebook feed and someone I knew back in high school had been tagged in photos...FROM A FUNERAL. Like, all the guests sitting in the pews (smiling for the camera!), the flowers, the casket, and....CLOSE UPS OF THE DEAD BODY IN THE CASKET!

Please tell me I’m not the only one that thinks it’s a) weird (and kinda disrespectful) to take pictures at a funeral and b) totally creepy to post those pictures to social media!

I am also praying this baby is smaller. My H, his brother, and my nephew were all over 9 pounds. I was 6 lbs 3oz so I’m hoping it balances it out.
