Trying to Get Pregnant

WTO Friday 3/29

**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW (trigger warning) and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. WAYDTGKU:sex, temping and opks

R/R:   No work today!  My bff had to cancel lunch though, so not sure what all I will do after my Obgyn appointment, which, I am officially freaking out about.  Since every time I have had to see him in the last 2 years hasn’t really gone too well.

CS/Q:  I think I may have O’ed yesterday.  It felt like it. I never have a truly positive OPK, but I have been sick from allergies and drinking a ton of water, so maybe there was never a good sample?  And opks have started to get lighter.

  • @holly321 sorry your friend cancelled lunch. Hope your appt goes well. Definitely find something to test yourself after your appt. Its Friday after all, you deserve it 😉.

@chichiphin enjoy working from home today.

    Month/Cycle: 28/2 AL

    WAYDTGKU: so many things

R/R: Happy Friday! I’m starting to transfer all of our seedlings to bigger pots today and it’s time to take them off of the grow lights. I’m amazed we’ve gotten this far, so hopefully the transplanting doesn’t shock them too much. Other than that, it’s going to be another beautiful day so windows open for sure!

CS/Q: I’ll hit 30 days with my tempdrop soon. The algorithm will kick in and some of these temps should change and be less rocky.

  • @chichiphin enjoy being away from the office today.  I get so much more work done when I am at home.

@kbrown2385 I hope the transfer goes well.  If I have time, I may buy some seeds today.

Month/Cycle: 1/1 Officially starting this month! I still am a bit unsure if we will be more relaxed about it these first few months and then get more serious.

    CD: 1

WAYDTGKU: NP Thyroid, Supplements, Progesterone cream, FF/BBT/CM. DH is finally going to start some vitamins too. He will do a multi-vitamin, vitamin D, and Omega3 w/ CoQ10

R/R: Finally Friday! I am excited for the weekend because I actually have nothing planned. I will probably try and catch up around the house.

    CS/Q: nothing to see yet.

@holly321 I hope your appointment goes well and you find something to do just for you after.

@kbrown2385 What are you planting? I want to start a garden one of these years, but I am awful at keeping plants alive. My parents have a whole room in their house dedicated to plants. I didn't get any of that gene.

@chichiphin I give props to people who work from home, at my last job I got to work from home 2 days a month and I was way less productive.

  • @chichiphin now that i reread it, i can see it 😆😆

@m6agua I didn’t get the gardening gene either so I’m shocked we’ve made it this far.

@marebear15 @m6agua we have tomatoes, bell peppers, arugula, parsley, chives (which I didn’t plant enough of so I’ll be starting more soon). We also started mint, cilantro, dill and lemon balm but they didn’t grow and we lost a pepper plant to the cat 😒.

  • @chichiphin - You and your dirty mind, lol! :D

@kbrown2385 - Wow!!! Those plants are thriving!! We are doing tomatoes, pickling cucumbers and regular cucumbers, green beans, corn, okra, and squash. We also have some parsley that survived the winter, and maybe cilantro too?
  • @kagesstarshroom Yes, please!!!  :D That's awesome that your reading went well! So happy for you!! Hope the rest of the conference goes smoothly!

  • @marebear15 I’ve been meaning to get some pickling cucumbers! I’m a pickle freak and would love to make my own.
  • @holly321 That sucks that your friend had to cancel. I second the idea of treating yourself after the appointment.
@chichiphin Hope you enjoy working from home today and have a great weekend!
@kbrown2385 That's so awesome about your seedlings. I hope they don't go into shock from the transfer. What all did you plant?
@brookert615 Haha I always feel like we're cycle twins because we are often in WTO or TWW at the same time give or take a few days. Your plans sound great for the weekend, hope it's awesome!
@m6agua Chill weekends are always the best to me. I hope that you're able to get caught up with house stuff and get some relaxation time in there too.
@marebear15 That's so exciting about your brother and coworker! Hugs to you. <3
@kagesstarshroom So glad your poetry reading went well! :)

R/R: Got my positive OPK today so I've called the patient care coordinator to schedule the back to back IUI's. Hopefully she'll call back soon so I have the appointments set in stone. I'm excited to move forward!

    CS/Q: nope.
  • @littleredm Yes we always are on the same threads! :) Yay for the OPK and hopefully your appointment goes super smoothly!

@littleredm FX you get your phone call back ASAP!

    @whitealbum29 Mmmm bagels.

@brookert615 Thankssss. there now and got the ipad working so i can schedule some relevant conference tweets.... and pop in TB to say hiiii, apparently.
  • @marebear15 that’s sweet/awesome news about your brother and friend!
@brookert615 that’s hysterical what you texted your dh!
    @littleredm fx for you tomorrow!

AFM I went to target after my appointment and ran in to my friend, we decided to get coffee before she had to get home (their drier died and was being delivered and her dh works nights so she had to be home for it). While we were having coffee, her husband texted that the deliver people weee almost 1.5 hours early, so we went to lunch and had a nice time.
and as for my appointment, it went well.  My obgyn encouraged me to just keep trying on our own for a few more months.  My cycles are really regular now, (but since they are shorter than normal, he did remind me to have earlier sex, which I already knew) and TW I have been pregnant many times, so we shouldn’t be overly concerned yet that I can’t get pregnant on my own.  Also my losses have all been for different reasons, which adds to the lack of concern in that area.
  • @littleredm fx for your iui! We have tomatoes, bell peppers, arugula, chives and parsley. We lost lemon balm, mint and dill. For some reason they didn’t grow.
  • @holly321 That's wonderful you were able to meet up with you friend! Glad your appointment went well!

@littleredm Crossing everything for your IUIs!!!  <3

  • @holly321 glad you were able to still get lunch with your friend and your appt went well!

@whitealbum29 sounds like such a nice weekend! Enjoy!
