Pregnant after IF

Success after early loss **living child/loss mentioned**

Hi there,

I was hoping I could come in here and get some light during a difficult time. I was active here during my fresh cycle and found this support so helpful!

**TW**
I was so lucky to have success on my fresh transfer and have a healthy son. We had 4 excellent frozen embryos and recently went back for our SET FET. Unfortunately that cycle ended in an early loss. I keep on reading stories of repeated loss and am getting scared that our remaining FETs will end in loss/BFNs. Would love to hear stories of successful transfers/FETs after early loss.

Me: 31 DH:35 Married: 2010.
FSH: 5.7, AMH: 4.7
Found 2.6 cm Endometrioma in March 2013: decided we should TTC
2 rounds of Femara+ TI Nov-Dec 2013: BFN
Lap Jan. 2014: removed endometrioma Dx: Stage 4 Endo
Feb 2014: another round of Femara+TI: BFN, endometrioma is back!
March 2014- July 2014: continous Lupron to shrink endo
July 2014: IVF 1: 9R, 7M, 5F, 5 beautiful day 5 blasts! eSET, 4 snowbabies! Beta: #1 2936 Beta # 2 7684 1st ultrasound 5w6d: saw yolk and sac, 2nd ultrasound 6w6d: heartbeat!! 112 bpm 7w6d heartbeat!! 148 bpm 9w 2d measuring right on track heartbeat! 175 bpm

  • @balletan I have not done IVF but did IUI. TW*** we lost our first pregnancy but have gone on with science and a miracle to have 3 subsequent healthy pregnancies. I would step away from those stories. What happened with those ladies has nothing to do with what will happen with you. I am so sorry for your loss and wish you the best of luck with your next fet.

  • I second what @wabash15 said. I also had 18wk and 9wk losses but went on to have a successful pregnancy. All were FET. Wishing you lots of luck with your next transfer.
