peas, carrots, or green beans. Those are what DD seems to eat the best. DH and I aren't big veggie eaters so I pretty much fix what I know DD will eat.
anything that will go in a salad, b/c my dd eats primarily salads and fruits now.
peas are usually a big hit but are FADING!!! WHY OH WHY! I hate them.. but my kids loved them up until recently??? carrots (really good sliced like fries, drizzle olive oil, add a little salt and dill, and then broil them... taste a lot like sweet potato fries), sweet potatoes (but ds doesn't care for mashed potatoes in the least), broccoli (which is fading in popularity). I get a mixed veggie frozen bag b/c dd will pick out the peas and carrots to eat and ds will eat the corn and green beans. makes it easy to decide on a veggie. brussel sprouts broiled or pan seared... although fading in popularity. my kids are getting picky. (sigh)
broccoli, asparagus, edemame (tech a protein), brussels sprouts, green beans, zucchini squash, summer sqaush, sometimes carrots, corn on the cobb in summer.
Asparagus (she loves the tips) with butter, sea salt and lemon juice; peas (salt, pepper and onion powder); green beans; squash; zucchini (stir fry it in a bit of soy sauce and garlic)
DS loves peas! We also eat potatoes, acorn squash, green beans, green salad, tomatoes with mozzarella cheese and balsamic vinegar, asparagus, and corn.
Sometimes I will skip the veggies and we eat cut up apples, applesauce, grapes or other fruit.
Most often Carrots... Or Broccoli. I love Carrots raw, steamed with Parsley and butter, Candied (on special occasions). We eat all veggies except Peas and brussel Sprouts. I have a pea aversion after several SUmmer visitng my Father's homeland and having Mushy peas and peas with everything.
