several announcements, we thought our good friend’s wife tried to kill herself, but it wasn’t quite what happened. She is very schizophrenic and they can’t get her any good help. My nephew is in the hospital. I am just done.CS/Q:
nothing to see yet! But I do have a question. I got opks in the mail yesterday. I always like to pee on new ones (and HCG tests when they are new IC) just to see how much lines show up and stuff and frankly because I have lost it at this point. Anyway, the opk was no where near positive, but it was really dark for early in the cycle. I wonder is this concerning?

WAYDTGKU: OPKs, temping, PNV, vitamin D, trying naturally (maybe) for one last time.
R/R: it's Friday! I'm hoping after yesterday DH and I are all done with doubting any part of this upcoming process. Mid-afternoon he starts telling me he's broken, unsure of going through the process, and other "I can't have kids" BS. Man was I really upset with him. His parents took a long time to conceive both him and his sister so I had suspicions that we may have that and I told him that - I went into this marriage and fully accepted that we may have a hard time. I am putting my body through so much to make our dreams come true even though everything appears completely fine on my end. I told him it's okay to feel sad about all this, but I'm here for him.
*TW* our niece was being born basically in the middle of this argument and BIL was providing updates in a group chat with my parents *end TW* and that's mostly what got DH so down. I think we'll be okay. Probably will need to cheer DH up anytime after we're with our niece.
Lmao ok DH finally got his butt out of bed as ImI sitting here typing after showering and I hear this faint "ok, let's go" and I said "did you just psych yourself up with a 'ok let's go'?". He sure did 😂
CS/Q: I finally temped! Say hello to Dot, he's so cute.

@inthewoods23 I think it’s easy to forget our SO’s side of things when we are in the midst of ttc. I’ve definitely done it. It’s just as easy for them to get in their heads as it is for us. (I’m not saying you don’t realize it, just a statement in general.) Adding in new family members, it’s kind of a mindf?@&. Glad he was able to psyche himself up. Hopefully he’s worked through what he needs to. Also, yay for getting back to temping. Those first few dots of the cycle always look so lonely lol.
@NYTino24 how much do you normally donate?

I'm really sorry about your nephew and your friend. I hope she can find the help she needs.
@inthewoods23 - MH gets in moods like that every once in awhile, where I just can't get him out of his own head. I'm glad that things are looking better for him now.
@NYTino24 - How much hair are you donating and how long is it now? I donated 10 inches of hair when I was in college, and got it cut up to my shoulders. I hated that length, so I've always kept it longer and never donated again.
@kbrown2385 - Whenever we have my siblings over on the weekends, I usually make spaghetti or tacos because it's fast and it can feed a crowd.
@ruby696 - Good luck with an 8 hour seminar on a Friday. I just got out of a 1.5 hour meeting this morning!
@inthewoods23 I'm sorry about the stress and DH. Hopefully as @NYTino24 put it, sometime relatively soon you'll be able to look back and barely remember this tough period of time.

@ruby696 I hope you enjoy and learn a lot at your seminar. I enjoy stuff like that too, especially when they come with free yummy food!
@kbrown2385 enjoy your company! I will think on the recipes. How many people are you having? I like to do stuff like taco/salad bar type meals so people can make them to their tastes.
@inthewoods23 I am sorry about you and your dh’s fight, emotions regarding ttc, especially with problems can get so raw. Dh and I like to alternate who takes the fault when we fight! Fun times.
I'm feeling a lot less stress this cycle, and I'm literally trying to forget what CD I'm on so I don't stress. This weekend should be busy with sushi with friends, loading just junk to take to the dump, and just general house chores. I'm super excited about the sushi!
@MrsVP614 love the sink! Enjoy getting your hair done!
@holly321 My mil, sil and her kids will be here, so 7 people total. Tacos are definitely on the list!
@holly321 I hope the gin does its job & you can relax a bit later today!
@inthewoods23 I think you & YH are good for each other bc of what you described--it would have been easy for many in your situation only to get very upset at his doubts, but instead you were encouraging, (even if what he said might have set off some other more understandably not as bright emotions in you.)
@NYTino24 RE: "looking at every single person as a miracle" I had that "epiphany" the other night thinking about like, ME being alive haha.
@kbrown2385 Veggie lasagna! With multiple people, it's nice have ONE thing basically to serve rather than an entree and a few sides--esp. if you're gonna have bread and/or salad on the table as well.
@ruby696 haha I hate when my raves turn into/are also rants. But I hope once you get there, you are so engrossed you forget it's Friday & then you leave & are like OMG IT'S FRI.
@MrsVP614 Hopefully once the reno is done, you'll be glad you had to point all the stuff out! So much better than having to have the contractors come back? But I'd be annoyed too if I were the one having to consistently tell the people where they've messed up....
CD: 7
WAYDTGKU: PNV, Ubiquinol, maca, RLT, FF, BBT, OPK (where's @brookert615, I usually look at that list and be like "okay what am I missing--" ^_~*)
R/R: I drank like three-fourths a beer last night, and I just really shouldn't drink anymore? It brought me way down and then I felt guilty and today I feel cloudy. Yes, three-quarters of one beer. / The Men's March Madness tourney started yesterday & continues today! I really love this time of year. I have a lot of things to grade, and I will be doing so in front of at least two different basketball games starting... soon.
CS/Q: As you may see, b/c my last cycle, I O'd on day 21 (TW LOSS: bc it was my d&c cycle) my chart is predicting I will again. I'm curious if it'll be Day 15, which has been my O day previously at least twice that I know of, or if it will be a bit later. Since the calendar is going by Day 15, which puts FW/O when I'll be in PDX, I'm kind of hoping it comes a BIT later? SIGH. We shall see.
@marebear15 Good for you for taking it easy. I know we all hate when people tell us to relax, but it is good advice for better mental health. Enjoy your sushi!
@MrsVP614 Love the sink! Keep those pictures coming!
@kbrown2385 Have a great time with visitors. I usually like to bbq when we have people over, but a veggie lasagna is also good. You could even do two, if some people aren't into veggie.
Update for me: IUI is tomorrow morning. I'm a little nervous and really trying not to get excited since I know the success rate is nothing to get excited about. But it feels good to be unbenched and finally trying again!
@inthewoods23 Awe, lil dot! So sorry about YH feeling down
@NYTino24 It is a very happy Friday! That's wonderful you're donating your hair, it is so freeing! I donated 12 inches last year and they send a "Thank You" post card which was cute
@kbrown2385 That's great you have all the cleaning almost wrapped up! I always like to do pulled buffalo chicken in the crockpot so some people can do lettuce wraps and some people can choose to do a sandwich
@ruby696 Hope you enjoy your seminar and your Friday! Good luck at your IUI!!!
@MrsVP614 Love that sink! Enjoy the new hair, perfect timing for spring! Hope you can get all the rest this weekend!
@marebear15 So happy to hear you had a productive day yesterday! Glad YH is in better spirits! Too funny about the brownies, but TBH when they're they they ARE irresistible lol. Enjoy the sushi and time with friends!
@kagesstarshroom LOL my bad! I'm way later than usual today! Sorry you're feeling not so hot after that bit of beer! Enjoy the games while grading!
CD: I'm going to say 7, I updated FF and removed any notion of AF and just accounting it as spotting... so it's I feel a little more on track now lol.
WAYDTGKU: Metformin (for PCOS), Armour Thyroid (for Hashimoto's), PNVs, Vitamins B Complex, C, D, Kelp, Calcium, OPKs, Temping, FighterDiet, RLT, Black Cohosh, Vitex, FD Fight or Flight (I've been taking this consistently but it has adaptogens so adding it to my "list", Learning to chill the F out...?
R/R: Work has been SO busy and since I'm going to be out for three days I'm running around like crazy trying to think of everything. Excited for our little break from the every day and getting a chance to explore our city and spend time with DH's family. I really hope his aunt and uncle enjoy themselves! I am such a planner so I have every day pretty much scheduled. I do really hope I get to have a little bit of alone time with DH though! Last time we visited them we legit stayed out all hours of the night and woke up super early and we barely used our hotel room lol.
CS/Q: Nah!
Diagnosed with PCOS & Hashimoto's
@NYTino24 that's great that you donate your hair! I've thought about it over the years, but I don't think I've ever gotten my hair to grow long enough to meet the length requirement for donations.
@holly321 I'm so sorry things have been rough lately for you! I hate when life hits really hard. Take care of yourself ❤️
@marebear15 glad you're feeling less stressed!
@kagesstarshroom DH and I definitely have some interesting balances with each other that is beneficial for both of us. I can be having raging emotions while arguing with him and he always responds in a completely normal voice which generally gets me to calm down faster. We make a good team I think.
@kbrown2385 in part of the conversation we argue how he often tells me that things I said previously were hurtful (like "so and so gave this look and then quickly changed the subject because you were going overboard") but then he would tell me it's fine and so I'm like which is it? Am I being unintentionally rude or not? He makes me feel like I don't pick up social cues but then why does nobody say anything in the moment if he feels like what I say is that bad? At this point it's just whatever, and we're moving on, but these arguments make me feel insane.
@MrsVP614 around this time a few years ago we had changed our faucet for the kitchen sink to a similar faucet you have with the U-shape and it was my favorite upgrade to our house that we did at the time because I could finally rinse large pots with ease instead of scraping the split in the sink. Before and after in spoiler! 🙂

ETA: I just remembered, I went off of Testosterone cream a couple months ago and I am still on progesterone cream 1/2 the dose until ovulation and the full dose after until 2 days before my period.
R/R: I'm on day 19 of this round of Whole30 and doing really well! Also I am excited for tomorrow, my husband and I are deep cleaning, purging and taking inventory of a few rooms. Then we are going to play board games with my cousins.
CS/Q: No questions, my chart is really wonky this month. It's an off cycle and of course had terrible sleep and woke up a ton right around when I think ovulation was. So I think I ovulated a few days ago, but FF is saying I didn't. Hopefully with a few more days of temps it will be more clear.
