@EmilyA724 Hahaha I love this! I just started building my maternity wardrobe last weekend, and have been in the same pair of maternity leggings all week. Pretty sure DH is tired of me raving about how comfy they are.

@Avrilmai I own an iron but it only comes out when my mom is coming to visit... I also only own it because she told me to put it on my wedding registry...

I only have an iron because I needed it years ago. I havent ironed clothes in a long time. Now it occastionally gets used for sewing if I need perfect lines...but since I dont care all that much, it doesnt get used!

My confession is that I defended lavish kid parties the other week and karma bit me in the ass because I got the final bill for DD1's party on Sunday and it's a doozy.

Oh oh oh I got another one inspired by the randoms.... when I had DD1 I pushed for four hours so when she was finally coming out, DH watched THE. WHOLE. THING. And I really don't care and it hasn't effected us in the slightest.

That said, he did not watch DD2 being delivered by c-section

Edited because I said "labored" for four hours which is A LIE. I PUSHED that long. Rude.

@peachy0709 DH googled c-sections before DS2 (DS1 is not his biologically) and almost passed out, so we both thought it was best he stay behind the drape for the real deal. 😂😂

DH has watched me deliver all of our kiddos. But from up by my head. So he saw all the cool parts, but not the possibly traumatizing parts.

I own four irons. Three in my sewing room, and one in my laundry room. The one in the laundry room almost never gets used because we hardly ever iron clothing. Every now and then DH will need something ironed because we left it in a basket too long. But that's really only like twice a year.

My FFFC: now that we know we are having a second girl I feel like I can justify buying any article of clothes for DD1 because it's going to go through two kids. Double duty yo.

@thirdtimesacharm2019 I think poor DH was more concerned because I was a roller coaster the whole time "THIS HURTS. YOU SAID IT WOULDN'T HURT." "I'M GOING TO VOMIT EVERYWHERE." that kind of fun stuff. I think he was like a deer in headlights because he is most certainly NOT in the medical profession.

We own an iron but no ironing board (obviously that makes sense 🤣) so we never iron. Dryer it is or dry cleaners if really necessary.

I couldnt keep DH out of the birthing action if I tried - to be fair he’s in the medical field so has actually delivered babies and just isn’t phased by any of that.

my FFFC is I had jellybeans for breakfast 🤦‍♀️

@Beauxbaton I feel the same way about clothing now that we are having another girl! Bonus they are both summer birthdays so I'm hoping it will work out well with seasonal wardrobes.

We own an iron but never use it. We have this little portable steamer and it’s the best thing ever!

+1 to not owning an iron. I also don't own a hair dryer and didnt own a comb or brush until DD1 had hair long enough to need to be combed... (in my defense I have curly/wavy hair and it looks so much better if I dont touch it.)

I lied to my OB about my LMP (by 4 days) because I was tracking O and ovulated late. All of my measurements have been spot on for my fake LMP date. I even ovulated earlier than normal this time, so they could have been off by 2+ weeks just by going off LMP. I guess they would’ve adjusted my due date but I felt pretty confident in when I O’d.

@dogmomma096 Ha! I told mine my real LMP, but since he was watching my charts (My OB was also my RE. He keeps some of his patients for OB care), he knew to adjust my due date based on ovulation.

DH watched DD1 crown, then get pushed back in and held there while I was rolled to the ER, but was not allowed in the room for the C section. He watched every second of DD2's c section and his only comment was "gosh you had a lot of blood".

@dogmomma096 I also lied about my lmp. By 4 days. My a/s showed my O due date so I feel justified haha.

i lied partly bc I want to be accurate because I was temping and it was very obvious when I O'd and....here's the FFFC part.... partly because if I'm recorded as being due July 31 then we would have to fly back home a few days earlier than if I'm due august 4. Our flight back is juuuuust before the 36 week cut off. Pretty sure if I kept my lmp due date we would have had to book different flights. 😬

Eta just remembered another Fffc component of lmp adjustment. I also didn't want to be at the end of the month so I wanted to be august bmb instead of July 😂 I was near the end last time and wanted a turn near the front lol

I hate ironing but since DH has to iron uniforms for work, he handles it if I need it (rare). @dogmomma096 I almost lied but instead I just told my midwife that I knew I O’d late. Luckily I didnt have to pitch a fit bc my dating US matched what I said. I was extremely concerned bc I was induced and overdue last time and I dont want to be forced into a CS this time if I went past an inaccurate EDD!

@dogmomma096 I should have lied... I ovulated on day 21 but the baby was measuring ahead (of where I was based on O) on my first US so the MW and I had to compromise on my EDD...

My FFFC is that I don’t know what FFFC stands for therefore I’m hoping this sentence makes sense.

Ive looked for it but I couldn’t find it in the glossary.
