Evenflo Car Seat?

Hey ladies! Yesterday DH and I went to Babys R Us to start our registry. I haven't heard anything about Evenflo car seats but the stroller/car seat set we liked is this brand. Do any of you have experience with this car seat?

Is there a really safe brand car seat? That's the one thing I'm concerned about, I don't want to buy a bad one and something happen.

TIA=)

Re: Evenflo Car Seat?

  • i had the evenflo travel system...mady has officially grown out of the stroller b/c the seatbelts no longer fit her. the stroller also doesnt incline all the way front and she is in a stage that all she wants to do is sit up or stand up to see everything.

    the evenflo car seat was great though....i just converted to the evenflo tribute 5 as the convertible car seat and im happy with that as well.

  • I have the Evenflo Triumph convertible carseat and we love it. It's rated very high for safety and much cheaper than the Britax
  • Thanks so much for your input!

    Ditto.  Consumer reports rated it higher than the Britax, so we bought two for DH's car--one for Cedric and one for the new baby, since it's convertible.  We had bought the Cosco Alpha Omega Elite (which was ranked #2 last year but same safety ratings) for my car, but the Evenflo is much easier to install and to remove the cover if needed for cleaning, which is why we decided on it this time around.  We also have the Graco regular one (also very very highly rated) for my car for the new baby.

    Hope I didn't lose you there.

    Tania
