FET for baby #2

*TW* I have a 16 month old son from IVF. I posted on here during my IVF journey that led to him

Anyway, I have a consultation with my RE on Thursday. We are planning to do a FET and have 5 frozen blasts. My question is for anyone who did a FET or IVF after having a child/ children. What tests did you have to do second/ third time around? It hasn't been that long since I've been there, and I know they will need blood work and do an ultrasound. What else should I expect? I'll be bummed if it's a lot of testing! My biggest worry is that they will find polyps again. I had a few before, and had to have a hysteroscopy (I think that's what it was) to remove them, and that sets you back time-line wise. I also hate the HSG saline thing and hope they don't make me do that!!! Any insight would be helpful. Thanks!

So my RE had me do the HSG again, bloodwork and more bloodwork, then once you start estrace and PIO, a couple of blood levels, then 2-4 betas after transfer, good luck!!

I did an FET exactly 2 years after my first IVF baby was born and didn't have to do any new tests again. I just did meds to prep for an FET. I then switched to another RE and thankfully didn't have to repeat the HSG either, but I did have to get a hysteroscopy as the new RE found a polyp and a big cyst.
