Typical LP length: 13

R/R: got together with some friends last night and had a great time. We hadn’t hung out with them in awhile so it was nice to see them again and some mutual friends.
CS/Q: just curious since I already o’d and it really doesn’t matter. how much does alcohol affect temps?
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: 23/2
Timing: -5, -4, -2, 0
Typical LP length: 12-14 days
Testing: once I see a missed period... was too anxious last cycle.
R/R: same old stressors at work. I feel like I have no time for anything right now! I actually forgot to do a grad school assignment because of work craziness.
CS/Q: waiting for my temp to confirm tomorrow yet, but definitely thinking I O’d CD21. It looks promising! Was a bit late with my O this cycle, so I’m not sure when to test or anything. I guess I will wait and see what my body and temps do.
@holly321 hope you have a nice day! I love going to Lowe’s. Any fun projects going on?
@NYTino24 sorry, friend. Wish it was good news for you so close to your bday. 💜
@kbrown2385 I'm glad you had a nice Friday! As far as I know, alcohol can mess with temps (usually making them higher?) but I've never seen an impact. Although I don't think I've had more than two drinks at a sitting since TTC.

R/R: well we tried to get one more HIO in last night at +1 but we had too much pizza for supper 😂. Also, did everyone know it's daylights savings time weekend? I did not, now I feel cheated of one weekend hour.

@NYTino24 ugh, so sorry! Maybe it’s worth asking your dr about a short lp? Could it just be a tricky o date that was hard to nail down? Ugh, just, ugh.
@holly321 GL tomorrow! +1 to wanting to hear about a home project.
@kbrown2385 yay for hanging out with friends! Glad you had a good time!! I’ve seen charts on here where drinking was logged the night before a temp increase.
@ejoseph16 I hope the weekend allows you to feel all caught up!
@jennifer_louise LOL at too much pizza. No such thing. I just realized last night about daylight savings. Ugh, I hate changing time. Can we banish it already?
@inthewoods23 I hope forgetting to test hopefully means you’re enjoying yourself, but I guess not too much if that kid is still there.
Month/Cycle: 10/10

Timing: all the hits

R/R: I totally had one when I started, and my mind’s gone blank now. This happens nearly every time. Ok, now I remember. I called insurance yesterday to see what infertility measures were covered since the clinic gave me the list of codes to ask about. I think we’re mostly covered. Then I asked if I had to wait exactly 12 months, or if I could go a little early since I scheduled an appointment for later this month, at 11 months. The agent told me to refer to my provider, which I thought she represented...eventually I figured out that she was directing me to the website. No specific address. Ugh. The website is not easy to maneuver. So it’s in mh’s hands now. We’ll see if he tells me to postpone another month. But hopefully we can just cancel altogether.
CS/Q: no thanks 🙂
@jennifer_louise I only had 2 or 3 beers last night so I’m wondering if it hasn’t made a difference with my temp today.
@jennifer_louise LOL to the pizza fail. Yuck to DST, although I’m ready for sun glare to stop messing with my commute.
@ejoseph16 Will your professor let you turn it in late? You could probably test on the 17th.
@kbrown2385 Alcohol actually lowers my temp sometimes! Lots of people see a small rise depending on how much they drank.

R/R: Since I was sick, I discarded temps and FF won't give me crosshairs, which is driving me crazy. I changed it to OPK made and I think it had my accurate O date. This weekend, we are going to look at houses and I am looking forward to it. We sold our house last year and are renting for a year. I cant wait to get settled in our own house again.
CS/Q:nada
@kbrown2385 not until May at this point. I teach 3rd grade in Ohio, and I’m departmentalized teaching reading. We have state testing in 2 weeks to determine promotion to 4th grade, then move on to more state testing and end of the year. This is the whirlwind that takes us down. But when I turn around it will be done and summer break will be here, so I look forward to that part!
@NYTino24 sorry about your short LP. 😔 I did the assignment and turned it in, then emailed the professor. Hopefully she gives me credit. We will see. This is so uncharacteristic of me, and I’ve had her for 2 other classes, so I’m hopeful that she will forgive.
@ejoseph16 yes the post dinner bloat was so real last night. But worth it! It always sucks to miss an opportunity, but we both kinda needed the rest. And YAY 🎊 for O buddies!
@begging4abump yes, I think we can all agree that DST has outlived its purpose. And ugh about the insurance/appt mess. I sincerely hope you can cancel too. I'm right there with you friend--we have a target date of May for our testing.
@kerco925 good luck house hunting! Are you a person who likes that kind of thing? I thought house hunting was super stressful.
@kerco925 have fun looking at houses! Hope you are able to find something you love!
@begging4abump hope yh is able to get everything figured out with the insurance. It’s such a PITA. Ultimately, fx you don’t need it at all!
@ejoseph16 You did the right thing! Communication is key! I am sure as a grad student you know these things lol. But I am always more sympathetic to a student who contacts me about a slip up than one who either just disappears or sends in work late w/ out a note. Also, I bet it's stressful being a teacher and doing grad school-- my Mom did that! You can do it!
@inthewoods23 I remember one time having to pee so bad in the a.m. and then being like shooooot I needed that FMU! lol. If you do test again, GL whenever that may be.
@begging4abump I've totally like thought about what I might write for R/R like in the shower or something & then had my mine blank up when I sat down to type before. Also, I've done the same thing where I've woke up, checked our boards to crickets/not been ready to post & then came back to a flurry of activity. I like when there is weekend action on here, though!
@kerco925 Have fun house-looking!

R/R: Rave first: A few towns over does free Friday night music downtown once the weather allows for it, and the 1st one was last night. DH & I went out to that & had a good time & then ate some food at our fave restaurant & neither of us got alcohol, & the bill was ~less than $20~ I could have jumped for joy. / Rant, though: I was having some trouble, though, at the (family-friendly) music event bc I felt like... weighed down. Like there was only so happy I could be? Depression is something relatively new to me, so I am surprised when I notice it, & annoyed that there's nothing I feel like I can do in the moment to conquer it. I still had a good time, but it was like there was a weight tied to the balloon of my emotions, and I could only go so high because of it, even though I could see the sky and know being happier is possible?
CS/Q: Definitely feeling a bit eMoTioNaL lately & a little bit PMSy maybe too, so wondering when AF will appear. I her expect in like 4-6 days? I really don't know though. It's mad warmer today than it was earlier this week, is a note. ETA: putting chart in spoiler oops!
@jennifer_louise, I am dying at your too much pizza no hio, that is something I can identify with.
@kerco925 good luck house hunting! We sold our house about 18 months ago, it took forever for us to find something (Pickiness/ I was really sick and a need to stay in our location). We ended up staying with my parents for over a year. While it was awesome of them, it has been so nice to be settled and enjoying making our new home our own!
@kagesstarshroom I am sorry you are feeling so weighed down, it is an awful feeling that tends to creep up on you. While I in know why feel that attitude is everything, I do think recognizing the emotions helps you find a way to work towards healing.
