Our sweet baby (she just turned 4!) Lana, our house was on the market when I was 39+ weeks preggo with DD1 so we had to leave the house ALL the time for people to look at it ... during the summer in South Carolina. There is a place in town that has a wonderful outdoor biergarten area where dogs are welcome so we always went there.
I don't have anything I would change about her - she really is the sweetest, most mild mannered and AWESOME dog I've ever had - but I know DH is upset we had to get her spayed before we could adopt her from the SPCA. He would love to have a whole house full of her sweetness

Don't mind the dirty truck pic (and DH in the background, lol).
We're a rescue dog family. This is Hafer, our suspected Doberman mix. You can't tell as much now, but he had the perfect Doberman body type in his earlier years. He's putting on some weight in his old age! The little one is Nessie, who is a pit mix of sorts. Her body is just still so tiny!
If I could change one thing about Hafer it would be that he wasn't a jealous A hole sometimes! Never in an aggressive way, but if someone in our house is going to be petting a dog, it better be him. And Nessie, I would say that I wish she would quit waking me up in the middle of the night to get a drink (never to go potty, just always needs some water conveniently around 3 a.m.).
We also have an elderly Golden Retriever, but admittedly she doesn't get to do much with us anymore. She's deaf, going blind, and is having a harder time getting around. Thankfully she still has the sweetest personality!
I have a lot of pets so I will just share this recent photo of my Murder Dog Gunner and his mentally challenged friend Felicia. They are often found in various sun worshiping positions.
Gunner is honestly the most perfect dog. I trust him with anyone, including children (unless they are brats then they don't get the privilege of his presence). He is sweet, loving, gentle and just wants to be loved. I am so excited for him to love our new human baby. He adores my nieces and nephews so I know he will love this one even more. If I could change one thing for him if would make other people realize how wonderful of a dog he is before they judge him for his appearance.
Felicia is a cat and we adopted her as an adult to eat mice in the barn. She spends 23 hours of her day sleeping on my couch. I would change that to 22 hours and more mice eating.
This is my fur baby Bella. She was recently diagnosed with Cushings disease and been having lots of accidents on the carpet. The other day though I caught her sniffing around then peeing—so not an accident then. So that’s what I’d change about her right now
@purplg8r I'm sorry about Bella's Cushings! Do they have a treatment for her?
@agpandme what sweethearts! I'm so glad Gunner is good with kids! And I love that brats don't get the privilege of his presence 😂
@oklahomak I love that you have rescues! Mine gets jealous too if I pet another dog around her. She will come and physically insert herself between us. Doesn't get aggressive, but is clearly saying "This is MY human!"
@MamaK225 oh my gosh that pic makes me so happy! Those eyes! And that smile!
Koya is a rescue, so we were playing catch up with training. I love her to death, and she is very smart. I just wish she was a little less stubborn. She knows what we want her to do, but then she sometimes refuses to do it. Kind of a "well...you want me to come, but there's a bunny over here...and I want to catch it. So....not listening....oh wait! You have chicken?! Ok!"
Before I got put on bed rest, koya wanted to do my yoga with me 😂 or ...stop me from doing yoga maybe .I dunno...
This is my fur baby, Harley! He's 13, and hubby and I have had him since he was a puppy. We're not entirely sure what he is other than a mutt (we adopted him from the SPCA), but likely some sort of terrier-collie mix. He's super sweet and very loving. He hasn't had a lot of time one on one with kids, but when he's met little ones during walks in parks and the like, he's been great with them, so we're hopeful that he'll react well when we bring our human baby home in August.
Edit: Totally forgot to say what I would change! The answer is not much, really. He's easy going and not hard to take care of at all. Mostly the things that I would change are related to him aging -- he has slowed down a bunch, has gotten hard of hearing, and it's gotten harder for him to get up sometimes if he's been laying down for a while. But those are things I'd change for his sake, not mine.
This is my corgi Rayna and our mix Ali. They are both so sweet and goofy and I love them so much! Rayna has been with me since I was 19 and she was a puppy. She turns 10 this year. Ali is 3 1/2 and has really mellowed out. If I could change anything it would be Rayna’s excessive shedding. Corgis lose so much hair year round! It’s ridiculous!
@chillycanadian look at those eyes!!! And yeah, they have her on Trilostane but they have to be very careful with the dosing so she has to get an expensive test done once a month. Yay. And the meds say that pregnant women shouldn’t handle the it but since I’m the one that’s home to feed her, I have to. I’ve just been wearing latex gloves
We have 3 dogs, 2 cats (1 that will be having kittens soon), a bunny, fish, and chickens.
These are our pups. From left to right, Max-my 3year old tri colored Aussie, Toby-8 year old hound mix rescue from the south, and Boomer-3year old blue merle Aussie (littermate to Max). They’re all great dogs!

Penny and Koa. Penny turns 10 today and Koa is her little brother at 4yo!
Eta: I forgot about changes! I would probably magically have them trained to stop barking when I ask them to.
