  • Month/Cycle: 28/1 AL

    CD/DPO: 3 I think

    Timing: negative

    Typical LP length: 13

    Testing: not

R/R: got together with some friends last night and had a great time. We hadn’t hung out with them in awhile so it was nice to see them again and some mutual friends.

CS/Q: just curious since I already o’d and it really doesn’t matter. how much does alcohol affect temps?

  • @holly321  use this weekend to shake that cold! FX for your test tomorrow!

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO: 23/2

    Timing: -5, -4, -2, 0

    Typical LP length: 12-14 days

Testing: once I see a missed period... was too anxious last cycle.

R/R: same old stressors at work. I feel like I have no time for anything right now! I actually forgot to do a grad school assignment because of work craziness.

CS/Q: waiting for my temp to confirm tomorrow yet, but definitely thinking I O’d CD21. It looks promising! Was a bit late with my O this cycle, so I’m not sure when to test or anything. I guess I will wait and see what my body and temps do.
  • @NYTino24 ugh sorry!

@holly321 hope you have a nice day! I love going to Lowe’s. Any fun projects going on?
  • @ejoseph16 sorry work has been so crazy! Any chance it’ll slow down a little soon?

@jennifer_louise I only had 2 or 3 beers last night so I’m wondering if it hasn’t made a difference with my temp today.
  • @begging4abump it’s unlikely. My hormones are all messed up and temps have been very low, like 96 and 97. My last 3 LP were 8, 10, and 8. Hopefully it corrects itself, but who knows... Keeping my fingers crossed that this cycle is the charm for you and if not, that YH agrees to see the doc.
@jennifer_louise LOL to the pizza fail. Yuck to DST, although I’m ready for sun glare to stop messing with my commute.
@ejoseph16 Will your professor let you turn it in late? You could probably test on the 17th.
@kbrown2385 Alcohol actually lowers my temp sometimes! Lots of people see a small rise depending on how much they drank.

R/R:  Since I was sick, I discarded temps and FF won't give me crosshairs, which is driving me crazy.  I changed it to OPK made and I think it had my accurate O date. This weekend, we are going to look at houses and I am looking forward to it.  We sold our house last year and are renting for a year.  I cant wait to get settled in our own house again.

    CS/Q:nada

  • @jennifer_louise hi O friend! Lol! Glad we moved over the same day! We did the same thing... considered HIO then went out for date night and ate too much.

@kbrown2385 not until May at this point. I teach 3rd grade in Ohio, and I’m departmentalized teaching reading. We have state testing in 2 weeks to determine promotion to 4th grade, then move on to more state testing and end of the year. This is the whirlwind that takes us down. But when I turn around it will be done and summer break will be here, so I look forward to that part!

@NYTino24 sorry about your short LP. 😔 I did the assignment and turned it in, then emailed the professor. Hopefully she gives me credit. We will see. This is so uncharacteristic of me, and I’ve had her for 2 other classes, so I’m hopeful that she will forgive.
  • @kbrown2385 depending on your tolerance that might not be enough to impact it much. I think your temps look right in line!

@ejoseph16 yes the post dinner bloat was so real last night. But worth it! It always sucks to miss an opportunity, but we both kinda needed the rest. And YAY 🎊 for O buddies!

@begging4abump yes, I think we can all agree that DST has outlived its purpose. And ugh about the insurance/appt mess. I sincerely hope you can cancel too. I'm right there with you friend--we have a target date of May for our testing.

@kerco925 good luck house hunting! Are you a person who likes that kind of thing? I thought house hunting was super stressful.

  • @jennifer_louise yes with the bloat! We went out for BBQ. Oof. After his failure to launch on O morning, we made it happen in the afternoon, but we agreed we needed to be done. Never thought I’d get bored of HIO! This time O took forever to happen, so we were HIO a lot. Fun at first! Lol
  • @ejoseph16 I forgot you were a teacher! Good luck. I hope May comes quickly for you! I give major props to anyone who teaches. How you all manage to keep your sanity is beyond me.

@kerco925 have fun looking at houses! Hope you are able to find something you love!

@begging4abump hope yh is able to get everything figured out with the insurance. It’s such a PITA. Ultimately, fx you don’t need it at all!
  • @kbrown2385 sanity happens through bubble baths and wine. Plain and simple. Unfortunately with the TTC process, wine isn’t as available to me, so I lose my sanity at times. Lol!
  • @kbrown2385 I noticed no difference with alcohol.  And nothing particular at Lowe’s.  Mostly just looking around, we have a billion projects, bought a Victorian home over the summer and it hasn’t had many updates since the 90’s, so it is dated.

@jennifer_louise, I am dying at your too much pizza no hio, that is something I can identify with.

@kerco925 good luck house hunting!  We sold our house about 18 months ago, it took forever for us to find something (Pickiness/ I was really sick and a need to stay in our location). We ended up staying with my parents for over a year.  While it was awesome of them, it has been so nice to be settled and enjoying making our new home our own!

@kagesstarshroom I am sorry you are feeling so weighed down, it is an awful feeling that tends to creep up on you.  While I in know why feel that attitude is everything, I do think recognizing the emotions helps you find a way to work towards healing.
  • @kagesstarshroom, I think @holly123 said it really well - recognizing you’re having those feelings is a huge part of moving forward. Hugs to you. That heaviness you describe is SO real.
  • @kagesstarshroom oh man... So many times I've done that with OPKs. Realizing either mid-pee or just after that I didn't capture some of it in a cup for the OPK!

  • Confirmed my ovulation today! I think I’m finally understanding this!

@NYTino24 Really sorry for the 8 day LP, that sucks. Not sure if you’ve already tried or if this is annoying advice, but just wanted to share that I added Vitex (aka Chasteberry) several months ago and it immediately normalized my weird short cycle (22-25 days) to a set 26-day cycle. I also added Ubiquinol at that same time but I believe it’s the Vitex that regulates the hormones. Good luck to you getting some answers!

@kerco925 How was house hunting? Hope you found some potentials. I love that stuff.

@ejoseph16 Yay for confirmed ovulation! Always a good feeling when you start to figure out the patterns.

@kagesstarshroom So sorry you’ve got the blues :( but definitely best to acknowledge than avoid. Hugs to you!

    AFM:
    Month/Cycle: 10/7/2 AL

    CD/DPO: 20/9

    Timing: Blah

    Typical LP length: 10-13

Testing: BFN this morning as expected

R/R: Rave: Daylight Savings doesn’t happen here. Rant: Now I’m even further behind most of you since your new time springs you even further into the day ahead of me. How will I keep up...

CS/Q: Chart looks so pretty and is so deceiving. Typical FF the Frenemy :p

  • @keikilove House hunting was good!  We havent found anything in the location we want that is the right fit for us, but we are in no rush.  Our lease isnt up until September, so it would be a bit early to find something.  It is fun to look, though.
  • Didn't think I would join the crazy train, but after a BFN again this morning (at like 11am since we got home at 3am), I've spent my evening googling the hook effect and positive betas after negative HPTs. We'll see tomorrow...

  • Now *I'm* Googling the hook effect, @inthewoods23. Always rooting for you, no matter how crazy your train is. Many hugs.
  • @keikilove I’ve been taking Vitex for months, but only one a day instead of 3. Gonna up the dose!
