Cravings/Symptoms?
Still having more aversions than cravings, and what does or doesn't sound good changes on an hourly basis. I stopped packing a lunch for work because I never want to eat whatever I packed.
My nausea seems to be letting up a bit! It's great but also making my mind race with terrible what-ifs. My boobs are still insanely sore, though.

I'm telling my family this weekend!! I'm super excited because I know they will be thrilled. But I'm also feeling really nervous. I can't put my finger on why, but I'm having anxiety about sharing the news. Hopefully by this weekend my nerves have calmed down into only happiness and excitement.

GTKY: If you had a sudden windfall of $1M, what would you do with the money?
If I had a sudden $1M windfall, I would buy a piece of land where we could build our dream home. Ideally I'd want a couple acres, either wooded or on a lake, but still near town in a neighborhood so my (future) kids could play with neighbor kids. I'd take about $15k to plan a kick-ass babymoon, $15k to donate to St Judes Children's Hospital, and whatever is left after that would be invested for this LO's (and future LOs') college savings.
Anyone have an appointment this week? Just yesterday. First US with my RE and it went fabulous. Baby was measuring 6+4 (based on O I would have been 6+5) and heart rate was 127. It was such a relief for my PGAL brain. I go back again Tue for a final US (to make sure, for my sake, that I passy milestone) and then will be discharged back to my OB.
Cravings/Symptoms? No real cravings but I'm very impressionable re food. Yesterday a coworker had salad and in turn I NEEDED salad. The other night we were watching something and they were eating pancakes. Last night I needed them for dinner. Still having most day nausea but I feel like its lightening.
Rants/Raves/Randoms? I feel like we really need to get this house issue under control. We've been shopping for about a year and not finding anything where we want to be. I don't want to cave and end up in a town I'm not thrilled with but they have sooo many more 4 bedrooms available. I'm really hoping the market bounces back no that spring is nearing....

GTKY: If you had a sudden windfall of $1M, what would you do with the money? Pretty much the same as Galentine. Buy the land my grandmothers been trying to sell us (not even 2min away from where we currently live) and build my mothers dream house (that they were unable to afford and she gave me the plans for). I'd also like to payoff my parents house so my dad, and mom if she would like, can stop working. He works in a greasy/ dirty environment and has a stoma. It makes it hard to breathe which in turn leaves him run down.
How far along are you? 10 weeks, 2 days.
Anyone have an appointment this week? No, not for two more weeks. Luckily, the days are whizzing by so it will be here before I know it!
Cravings/Symptoms? My coffee aversion finally went away! I am drinking a hot cup of decaf coffee as I type this. I am starting to feel more like myself, which is great and worrisome at the same time.
Rants/Raves/Randoms? I got a speeding ticket on my way to the dentist yesterday, which was such a bummer. That was my first speeding ticket, and hopefully my last. Rave is that today is my Friday, so I'm looking forward to getting some extra sleep tonight.
Questions? What cleaning products do you use while pregnant? I know I'm supposed to change, but I haven't yet and I don't always remember to wear gloves. I hope I'm not doing any damage!
GTKY: If you had a sudden windfall of $1M, what would you do with the money? Pay off both my husband's and my student loans. Then, I would buy a house for us and one for my mom. I'd buy my dad a Harley, and I was going to say donate to the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), but considering what's being said in the news I might have to pick a different charity.

Anyone have an appointment this week? No, not until 4/3 for my regular OB visit. I still need to call another office to schedule my NT u/s and 1st tri-blood work/possible NIPT, but that probably won't be until later this month/next month as well.
Cravings/Symptoms? This has actually subsided a bit, so cue anxiety...
Rants/Raves/Randoms? Yay for almost being Friday! Been using my fetal doppler since I got it on Tuesday to *try* and find this LO's heartbeat. I have not been successful yet and I know it's so early so I'm trying not to beat myself up just yet.

GTKY: I would definitely buy a bigger house. Sadly, in Southern California, $1M actually wouldn't get me much but I could buy a nice sized house in a great neighborhood and just enjoy it being paid off.

Anyone have an appointment this week? My first official appointment needed to be rescheduled, so now it's next Tuesday at 7w1d.
Cravings/Symptoms? I don't feel like I have the walking flu anymore, but nausea is here. My new routine involves waking up and vomiting at some point. I've also been hit by dry mouth, and I forgot how annoying it is. Doesn't help that when I drink too much, it sometimes triggers the nausea.
Rants/Raves/Randoms? Just in a funk right now. Between hormones, nausea, and the weather, I'm reminded of how I felt with DS emotionally, which wasn't good. I'm hoping that in the next few weeks I'll have answers regarding the viability of the pregnancy and when we can move.
Questions? Any good ideas to quench thirst besides water (too much makes me nauseous). I'm over ginger ale right now.

@elle-0409 TBH, I didn’t/haven’t changed any cleaning products. I just try not to inhale them and keep everything well ventilated. Any kind of gloves would be great, but in terms of nasty chemicals (which you don’t even have at home so I dunno why i’m even mentioning it) nitrile gloves will work best for most solvents/acids/bases. And maybe I also cleaned a little less than normal.
@galentine SPILL YOUR BEANS!! How are you planning on telling everyone?!?

@elle-0409, oh no! Sorry for the speeding ticket! And cleaning, you say?? Uhhhh to be honest I have barely cleaned at all since I got knocked up. 1st tri is kicking my butt, I don't know how you are even thinking about cleaning! When I have felt up to it, I have just used my normal products, Method cleaner, pledge, windex, etc. Like Lillywonderland said, i just try to keep things well ventilated (as well as one can during a polar vortex 😐)
@stephanie123456, I'm glad you mentioned NIPT. It's been on my mind too, I think we should start an Oct-wide NIPT discussion. Are you going to find out the sex with the NIPT?
@sorarose, hugs for being in a funk. I feel a little that way too. I am SO happy and grateful to be pregnant, but I was not prepared for the mental aspect of feeling sick 24-7. It takes a mental toll as much as a physical one. Hang in there! ❤ Also, I went through a phase too when water made me nauseous. Luckily it passed quickly, but in the meantime, I drank crystal lite, flavored water, and 7up. Hope it passes quickly for you too!
@lillywonderland, AHHHH! Ok, I can spill the beans!! LOL. We are getting together with my parents and siblings and their kids this weekend just to hang out and eat dinner. I am planning to give my parents a framed photo of the ultrasound, and the frame reads "coming soon" below the photo. My parents are going to be SO surprised and very excited! I have so many feels just thinking about telling them ❤😭

We are finding out the sex and plan on just looking at it ourselves. Nothing aginst gender reveals, it’s just not “us”.
To keep ourselfs occupied we are taking a poll between our family and friends that know on if they think it’s a boy or girl.

@galentine congrats on the nausea subsiding, I hear that's totally normal at this point. That announcement sounds cute, FX that it went well~

@elle-0409 how fast was it over the limit? There's a margin of error so it might be worth contesting
@stephanie123456 ah I'm in that same cycle with the Doppler not being able to find the HB yet, can't wait until further into the pregnancy
@sorarose I hope you feel better soon, it's kind of nice that your first appointment will be further along to see more

@lillywonderland I meant to mention this to you after my first appt, I wish I listened to your first messages about slight symptoms being okay more. It would've saved me anxiety for sure since Jelly Bean was just fine (I half way convinced myself otherwise to guard my heart at the appt)
What's going on this week? Baby became a fetus this week, also I hope to not get a call from my doctor since no news is good news for all of the blood screening results.

Anyone have an appointment this week? Nope, but I had my first this past Tuesday and it was amazing. Hopefully it'll be easy enough to wait for the next one early April.
Cravings/Symptoms? Nothing really, I used to let that worry me but now that the appointment went well I'll just assume that this is normal.
Rants/Raves/Randoms? Each day makes it a day closer to being able to find a HB on a home Doppler, that would be amazing

GTKY: If you had a sudden windfall of $1M, what would you do with the money? Ugh wouldn't that be great. Buy investment properties in the South with half and keep the other half to make life easier (pay down debts, go on vacations, etc.), but keep working.

i had one on Wednesday. We got to see the baby and hear the heartbeat. Baby was measuring perfectly on time and HR was 124. Such an amazing experience of course I bawled my eyes out
Cravings/Symptoms?
Ugh no. I’ve been feeling pretty nauseas lately and the thought of food makes me nauseas but I’ve been feeling better thankfully. That’s mainly the reason I haven’t been participating more on here!

@galentine haha, I would have to virtually smack that poor unsuspecting worker if they called and worried me
But rave, I found LO’s heartbeat on my Doppler right after so that kind of made up for it. It was a little higher than I expected but it was unmistakable.

Had my first official appointment today at 7w1d. Still just an empty gestational sac measuring a day ahead. They won't call it yet because it doesn't meet some threshold. Did hcg today and again on Thursday in hopes we can proceed. Mostly upset that my body couldn't take care of this naturally and I have been suffering with symptoms despite it being a blighted ovum. Still technically being pregnant sucks. Buried my sorrows in sushi for lunch and a Greek salad for dinner.
