  • @misshelen86 do you like your Ava? I’ve always wondered about those...

@emeraldduchess oh my goodness! Bagpipes?! I’m dying! My kids would be so distracted! I get a kiddo back from in school suspension today. That should be fun. *eye roll*

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD: 20

WAYDTGKU: OPK, BBT, prenatal, supplements, sex EOD

R/R: MH has been super into HIO this cycle! He had some anxiety last month with it being our first cycle trying. This time around he’s all about it! Woohoo!

    CS/Q:
  • Month/Cycle: 28/1 AL

    CD: 17

    WAYDTGKU: lots of stuff

R/R: really need to get out of this funk. The muscle relaxers made me so tired yesterday I’m hoping I have some more motivation and energy today.

CS/Q: here’s to hoping I o soon. Tired of waiting. Creamy cm close to o? I had a lot of it yesterday. Idk what’s happening.

  • @misshelen86 good luck with shopping for yh. Hopefully he’s not too difficult. Enjoy your couple of days off!

    @emeraldduchess good luck with grading!

@ejoseph16 glad yh is into this cycle!
  • From yesterday:
@madcouplewithabox - That's amazing! LCs are so needed, especially in maternity wards. How long do you have to go to school for that?

@emeraldduchess - No my insurance doesn't say why. It just has a bulleted list of things that aren't covered.
I promised myself I wouldn't make any funeral jokes, but I do hope that these kids aren't the death of you.

@ejoseph16 - MH has enjoyed all the extra sex, lol. Last night he told me it was one of the first times he really didn't want to but knew we needed to. You got some HIO game!

@kbrown2385 - I always get creamy CM after O, but everyone is different.

@jennifer_louise - Did you want to go to this conference? Looks like you might get a chance at next FW after all, lol!

    Month/Cycle: 11/10 (2 AL)

    CD: 15

WAYDTGKU: BBT, CM, PNV, baby aspirin, B6, B-complex, no caffeine or alcohol, HIO ED

R/R: We've stuck to our HIO plan even with my parents in the guest room. My dad is here working on his rental house, and it is looking great! They got a bunch of brush burned (had the fire department called on them, whoops!), and got some furniture and appliance put into the rental apartment. I'm hoping that they will be able to stay there next time they come to town.
I also got a new project at work that I'm excited to work on. It's been a little slow since Christmas, but we are entering our busy season, so here we go!

CS/Q: My discarded temp from yesterday is right in line with my temp jump this morning. I might add it back in if I get another high temp tomorrow. I hardly had any fertile CM this cycle though 😕

  • @marebear15 I would have loved to go to this conference during my LP! Lol. But I wouldn't enjoy it at all if it was right during I. I feel stupid for putting HIO over my career, but it's not like speaking on one panel is going to make or break me. I still probably have to go for a one-day meeting, but that will be only one night away which I can totally handle, even right around O.
I have a TMI question that you can ignore if you want to, but with all your HIO ED, do you and YH have a "formula" to get the job done or do you switch it up every night? MH and I are running out of ideas, but maybe we overthink it too much...
  • Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD: 15

    WAYDTGKU: pnv, opk, sex EOD

R/R: I've been so absent lately! Work has been crazy and on top of that I got in trouble with HR this week (over something that didnt even happen  ). So I have been very careful about my phone usage. But I am missing all you ladies! I'm so ready for this week to be over. It's my Friday off and I'm so glad because I need the long weekend.

    CS/Q: nothing to see

  • @misshelen86 Are you guys doing anything fun for yh’s birthday? We make a homemade meal and dessert of the other’s choosing, which usually works out well for both of us. I tend to pick the more labor-intensive ones to really make the most of it. 😂

@emeraldduchess GL with all the grading. At least it means that summer isn’t that far off!

@ejoseph16 Glad to hear YH is enthusiastic, ha.

@kbrown2385 sorry for the confusing signs from your body. I hope your energy picks up today! I’ve been feeling more low energy myself. Maybe if we could just get another taste of anything other than winter...

@jennifer_louise I hope the conference scheduling works out for you.

@marebear15 lol @ funeral joke. I love me some puns! Also, thanks for all the tips. I felt a little weird sneaky into that spoiler, but it was there for everyone who could use the help, right? I remember asking mh early in our marriage how often he’d be in the mood, and the answer definitely wasn’t daily. That would have terrified me.

@millpe sorry about the hr issue. I hope things calm down at work soon.

    Month/Cycle: 10

    CD: 23

WAYDTGKU: SMEP, temps, opk, pnv, no booze or caffeine

R/R: I feel like an issue between mh and me may come to some kind of uncomfortable head soon. The TTC journey has affected us both a lot, and we’ve kind of handled it differently. Basically, I went away from religion, and mh clung onto it harder. We’ve been trying hard not to have this drive us apart, and we have been very respectful of our differing views, but it’s definitely hard. We’re both dreading to get to the 12 month mark because this religious aspect may really impact our options. I need to not get ahead of myself, but that worry is there. Plus, we get the fun every holiday and Sunday of playing an awkward game of am I going to church.

cs/q: I was hoping for a clear spike today, but no dice.

  • @millpe hi! I wondered where you were. I'm sorry you got in trouble, but I totally get the phone usage thing. If I'm not busy at work, I'm on it waaaay to much. Trying to get better though.

@begging4abump I'm sorry about the conflict between you and your hubby. I really related to your post (except I'm probably the one in YH's position). If you ever want to talk, I'm here!

@marebear15 thanks! That's actually really helpful but dang,

YH's sex drive is crazy! MH is actually pretty good too (EOD is comfortable for both of us but he'd probably be fine with more). I have really lost most of the pleasure of it through TTC, to the point where I've started having pretty raunchy sex dreams. I might try some new outfits or books to bring some heat back. Thanks for being so open 💜

  • @begging4abump - Yes of course, it was for anyone who wanted to read about it. I'm glad that I could help.
I understand the conflict with religion and God in this TTC mess. Sometimes I'm super angry, and I don't think God is being fair. But I had so much peace and felt his hand in everything surrounding my miscarriage. I don't think I could have gone through this journey without him.

    @jennifer_louise -
It gets hard to enjoy it after a few days in a row, but I try to put less pressure on myself, and only try to orgasm every 2nd or 3rd time. The other times I just make sure DH is having a good time. And sometimes I surprise myself by being able to O. But I don't get the huge disappointment of trying to make it happen, when it's not going to. Does that make any sense?
  • @ejoseph16 glad yh is so into it. I have a difficult time getting DH over muster up to the occasion a lot.

@marebear15 Certification normally takes two years, but a lot of places whant you to be an RN as well, so that would be at least another 2-4 years. I figured I would become certified to at least start working in the field then get the nursing degree.

@millpe dealing with HR is never fun. I’m sorry you had to deal with that!

    Month/Cycle: 4

CD: 18 (I freaking hate being such a late ovulator sometimes)

WAYDTGKU: Benched, but..OvuSense temping, opks, PNV s, maca, fertiliTEA, supplements for DH, (also having easy to eat snacks around the house that supposably help with sperm count)

R/R: I just realized that if my cycle keeps being this long, I’m going to be out of country for next months frertile window. I’m glad at least it’s going to be at a bachelorette party with unlimited margs and food.

CS/Q: nope. My temps are finally kind of steady and I’ve been using my OvuSense with more regularity now... ah, I also just realized I have to go through customs with this thing next month! I’m gonna die of embarrassment if I get randomly chosen for screening.
  • @emeraldduchess - Good luck!

@millpe - That sounds frustrating! I hope these next two days go by quickly for you!

@begging4abump - I'm sorry, I hope you two find a way to resolve it.

    Month/Cycle: 3/3

    CD:7

WAYDTGKU: Temping, RHR, FF, pnv, opks

R/R: Rant!! *Possible TW* Some of you may remember, doctors found a breast tumor last June. I had a biopsy done late July and the tumor was benign. *End of TW* I just got the bill for the biopsy on Saturday! First thing this morning, the hospital called me to ask if I was going to pay for that bill in full. I had received the bill 5 days ago and they are already calling me up about it?! Yes, we will be paying the bill in full as we have always done! Calm down, Karen! We have had such problems with their billing department. We received a bill for tests my husband had done over a year after they happened. Apparently, the billing department is overwhelmed and has to outsource some of their work, but it makes it looks like they sent you to collections before you even received the bill. They have been so stressful to work with. I am just so hoppin' mad about this! You take 7 months to send me a bill and expect to pay it in 96 hours. *SMH* What stinks is that if/when I get pregnant, this is the hospital we have to use as others 45 minutes to a hour away.

    CS/Q: none
  • @jennifer_louise thanks. It’s nice to put it out here for ppl who can relate. I’ve talked to close friends about it, but they’re not having ttc and they’re  not at religious odds with their husbands, so it’s not quite the same conversation.

@marebear15 I’m up in the air with God. I’m really pushing against church/religion—the stuff that humans have a hand in, but I’m glad you have peace, especially with such a difficult, heart wrenching situation. I examined atheism, and it just made me upset; I want there to be a God, so I’m all mixed up spiritually.

@madcouplewithabox what kind of snacks are we talking? Also, that sounds like an epic bachelorette!!

@spacemountaineer How frustrating! Sorry you have to deal with that!
  • @begging4abump. I’m so excited for this trip. We are going to Cancun at an all inclusive resort:)

I try to keep all types of nuts around. I’m also trying to cook mussels for him at least two times a week. I always keep some form of dark chocolate out and have easily steamable green veggies ready to throw in a microwave (Broccoli,  asparagus), I keep bananas on hand and I also try to recommend a dinner with lots of garlic when I can. I saw him munching away on some almonds last night and was all “yessss, fall into my covert plan to help your swimmers with your downfall of not being able to stay away from delicious snacks” lol now if only I could find a sperm boosting cookie I would be in business! Off to google!
  • @madcouplewithabox You're a wealth of tips! I just googled all of the foods that help sperm and getting all the snacks I can for DH  :D:D:D

  • Sorry I ghosted earlier. It’s  been a busy day so I’ll try to catch up where I can.

@millpe sorry about having to deal with HR this week. Hopefully you were able to fix the situation.

@begging4abump warmer weather would definitely help with the energy issues. Today I just get extra coffee lol. Sorry you’re having issues with dh. I’m very much on the same page as you, don’t really know where i am spiritually and don’t know how to figure it out lol. Hope you and dh are able to come to some kind of clarification.

@madcouplewithabox I’m with you on late ovulation. So frustrating! Hopefully it happens for both of us soon!

@spacemountaineer sorry you’re having to deal with that bill issue! You’d think the hospital could calm down and maybe call after a significant amount of time.
  • @emeraldduchess @jennifer_louise I’m not sure what I’m going to get him yet. I usually stick with clothes & video games. But I feel like he has everything he needs already!

@emeraldduchess Good luck getting through all the grading!

@ejoseph16 I really love my Ava bracelet. I am a shift worker so I find this works better for me since I can’t always temp at the same time. My temps are a lot more consistent than with a regular BBT. If you’re okay temping at the same time every day, I’d probably save my money though. Also, it does a poor job at predicting O- it doesn’t detect it until days later, so I transfer my temps into FF.

@kbrown2385 Hope you have more energy today!

@jennifer_louise Good job procrastinating your way out of travelling during FW!

@marebear15 Great job keeping up HIO! I always feel awkward when there are other people around.

@millpe Sorry about the HR issues. Enjoy your days off!

@begging4abump We usually take each other out for dinner for our birthdays. He also has 2 family parties to celebrate. Sorry you and YH are coping with things differently. Good to hear that you have both been respectful of each other’s views. Hope you are able to continue to support each other and come to some kind of compromise.

@madcouplewithabox Sounds like a fun bachelorette party!

@spacemountaineer So incredibly frustrating for you! Sorry you have to deal with that.

  • @madcouplewithabox thanks for those tips. It didn't occur to me to look up food for DH too. *facepalm*
@begging4abump I hear you about faith and religion.  Sometimes I find comfort in it, but lately I've really been struggling with it.  I think the struggle is more with the particular faith I was raised in though.
@spacemountaineer that's ridiculous that the hospital is so all over you like that with the billing.
