Do you style babies hair?

Robbie has crazy hair. It is always sticking straight up in the back and pretty flat up front. To me it is cute. But I saw a persons siggy over on the 6-12 month board and a boy had a fauxhawk and I was thinking do some Mommies style their son's hair with product? I don't but maybe I should. Ond Dad at daycare was picking up his son and said he liked Robbies hair and that he called him spike because his hair always sticks up.

I wonder if you were to style it right after bath time if it would stay? Then no product would be needed.

We do. We use Mustela or whatever baby lotion is on hand. It doesn't hold as well as grown up product, but at least I know it's not harmful.

I wouldn't use adult style products on baby. We just comb DD's hair up after bath and it makes its own faux hawk that stays for a couple days.

DS has long, curly hair and he's lucky if I comb it everyday.

I style DS' hair but I only use baby lotion. It seems to hold pretty good. I have been doing it since he was a couple of months old b/c he has always had a good amount of hair. I think the pic in my siggy has his faux hawk>
