  • Month/Cycle: 28/1 AL

    CD: 13

WAYDTGKU: metformin, ubiquinol, vit c/e, pnv, low carb/intermittent fasting, myo-inositol, more testing, bbt/tempdrop, opk, hio etc because I’m sure there’s something I missed.

R/R: glad to have dh home this weekend, not that we are doing anything, but it’s nice to actually see him for longer than a couple of hours before bed. Maybe some grocery shopping today 🤷🏻‍♀️.

R/R: So glad it's Saturday! We don't have much going on so hopefully we can do some errands and chores. Actually the main part of our house is pretty clean right now, but a tornado hit our master bedroom! I also am way behind on laundry so I should probably start that now, since it will take all day.

    CS/Q: nothing to see

@kbrown2385 glad you and YH are finally getting to spend some time together! It’s nice to actually talk instead of just sleeping!

@millpe same here. So much to get caught up on. Happy laundry and chores day!

    Month/Cycle: 3/2

    CD: 16

WAYDTGKU: OPK, BBT, sex EOD, prenatal, supplements

R/R: So glad it’s the weekend! Spending some time with family finally. I look forward to weekends for that purpose. I got my grad school homework and lesson plans done so I can focus on the family this weekend. In other news, still no O. I’m a little late this month, but it’s also my first month really tracking with BBT and OPK. still working on figuring this out. I should really get on FF so I can share my graphs. I track mine on a different app.

CS/Q: still new to this graphing thing... suggestions are welcome!

    Edit: added graph!

  • Month/Cycle: 4 AL

    CD: 14

WAYDTGKU: BBT, OPK, PNV, Ubiquinol, supplements, Keto diet

R/R:  I woke up with a fever, noooo.  And I am entering my fertile window.

Happy Saturday, ladies! Sorry to post and go yesterday. It was a crazy busy day and the thread got away from me.
@kbrown2385 enjoy the time with your DH today!
@millpe good luck with all the laundry.  I really need to do some decluttering around my house this weekend, too.
@ejoseph16 high five for getting your lesson planning done! Enjoy the time with your family!
@kerco925 hope the fever breaks and you feel better soon. :(
    Month/Cycle: 8/7 (second cycle AL)

    CD: 8

WAYDTGKU: Prenatal vitamins, Fertility Friend, temping, OPKs, HIO, SMEP, red raspberry leaf tea and cutting down on alcohol (though I failed at that one last night...)

R/R: It's snowing here but I have plenty of snacks, cocoa, and yarn to keep me occupied. It's only supposed to be a few inches now as opposed to the 10 they predicted yesterday. I have a pile of projects to grade, too and I am actually not dreading grading them.

CS/Q: Temp spike thanks to the wine I had last night.  Only 2 glasses but that's a lot for me. Plus my wine glasses are probably on the large side.🙊
    Edit: add tags

  • @ejoseph16 you can still share your graphs from your other app, just because FF is the preferred app for many in this group, doesnt mean it's the only one that can be shared ;)

@kerco925 nooo to the fever! Have you had other symptoms? Hoping it passes quickly for you!

@kbrown2385 Enjoy the weekend with your H!

@kerco925 hope you’re feeling better soon!

@ejoseph16 yes, feel free to share your charts no matter what app they are from!

@millpe enjoy your day! Hope you’re able to catch up on some laundry.

@emeraldduchess glad it’s not going to snow as much as was expected. Good luck wit your grading. Sounds like it will be a good day for you.

  • @millpe I had a little bit of a sore throat yesterday and didnt feel like myself.  I feel much better after taking advil, so hopefully it passes.

OPK is still very negative (which is really weird for me at this point in my cycle and worries me) so hopefully I will feel better and this cycle won't be ruined.  The husband won't come anywhere near me if I am sick.
  • @kbrown2385 I saw you listed intermittent fasting.  Do you know if that might help fertility?  I have tried to find some research, but it was inconsistent.  I like IF and I did it a few months ago.  I stopped because I wasnt sure if it would help or hurt fertility.

@kerco925 I am insulin resistant and from what I’ve found, it helps with that and in turn helps with fertility issues linked to that. It also helps with weight loss, which I need. I do eat a more paleo diet, so eating clean, getting healthy fats and good amounts of proteins and I’m not reducing my caloric intake too drastically. I haven’t found legit info of it affecting fertility either way though.

    Edit it I wasn’t done.
  • @kbrown2385 Thanks for sharing, I might try it out again.  I haven't been diagnosed with insulin resistance, but I wonder.  My diet is more keto than paleo, but somewhere in the middle.  I definitely lost weight faster when I did IF in addition to low carb, and I felt really good doing it.
  • @kerco925 I walk the line between keto and paleo. My carbs just aren’t as restricted.  I was keto after my first found of testing and felt great. I naturally started IF while doing it because I just wasn’t hungry as often.
  • @emeraldduchess lolz to yr overwized wine glasses. ^_~*

@ejoseph16 what app are you using for yr chart? Looks like it's predicting O where the line is, which makes sense CD-wise, but you need a 3 day spike in temp following to confirm it.

    @millpe A figurative tornado I hope?!

@kbrown2385 I v. much enjoy when MH & I get to go grocery shopping together--esp. if we go somewhere a little further away (cough whole foods)-- bc normally I just get stuff a few times a week on an as-needed basis. It's like a little date! Glad yall get to spend a little more time together today.

    Month/Cycle:6/4/1AL

    CD: 22

WAYDTGKU: benched so pnv/rlt (which, to weigh in on what i was just reading over at Randoms: i drink during WTO, but since we're benched, if I O I'll keep drinking. If you're TTA, it's fine for TWW & good for cramps/other AF related jawns)

R/R: Thanks for all your support for choosing debauchery. I haven't decided yet for a few reasons, one involving not feeling 100% intestinally. booo. / We have two friends in town today & we're at least going to NOLA tomorrow to see another 2 friends who are there for some Mardi Gras fun! There's a party at a friend's house tonight, and we're bringing out out of town friends--should be an iNtErEsTiNg mix lol.

CS/Q: Didn't test via OPK yesterday, but will again today bc ::shruggy emoji guy:: Temps down a bit again today after up a bit yesterday -_- #WTOlimbo **TW** #ALChart  Glad I'm doing this even though we're benched bc once I O I'll have a better idea when AF will come bc most ppl's luteal phases are normal after O (if they O) on a post-d&c chart

p.s. "jawn" is a Philly word that's like a pronoun for anything.
  • @kagesstarshroom yes, a figurative tornado. No actual tornadoes this time of year in ND.

WAYDTGKU: pnv, hio, cm/cp, stilll need to order OPKs

R/R: I’m working 12+ hours today. But I have a three day weekend starting tomorrow. Also I’m quitting my job this month so the end is officially in sight. Now I just need to tell my boss 🤦🏻‍♀️

    CS/Q: nothin
  • @kagesstarshroom this is from period tracker. When I told my teammate that MH and I were starting to try, she suggested that app.

@misshelen86 I’m only once a day right now, mainly because they’re so stinking expensive! That’s why we are still Having sex EOD, just in case.
  • @ejoseph16 What kind of OPK are you using? I get Wondfo from amazon, they are pretty cheap and they work well. I just bought 40 last month and I’m set for a few months now.

  • @misshelen86 sorry for CD1. :(  Have a great time with your friends tonight!  The salsa chicken tacos sound amazing. I haven't had tacos in forever. Gotta fix that.
@MrsJessS yikes to 12+ hours at work. Good luck telling your boss.  I hope it's not an awkward or unpleasant conversation.
@kagesstarshroom have a fantastic time in NOLA. I wish Mardi Gras was more on a thing here in the Northeast. I feel like I am missing out!

@kbrown2385 yay for time with YH! Ps, I started the book this morning when mh’s snoring woke me. It seems like a winner...and that I’ll need to get another book ready soon. Thanks!!

@millpe I hope you got all your laundry done. Lazy, productive days can be so nice!

@ejoseph16 I don’t think I ever started a weekend with school stuff done as a teacher or as a student. Enjoy!

@kerco925 nooo. I hope it’s a fluke and you feel healthy soon!

@emeraldduchess Sounds like a cozy day. Did the kids make different kinds of projects? I always got excited when I had ideas that allowed students to have drastically different submissions. It helped them be creative and personalize it, and it definitely helped me to grade!

@kagesstarshroom ikwym with grocery dates. At this point, we only seem to have them at Trader Joe’s since it’s more a place for our odds and ends rather than staples. Also, what’s your connection to philly, if I might ask. Ok if you decide it’s too personal.

@misshelen86 Sounds like the makings of a great night tonight! Enjoy! Sorry for cd1; yay for wine!

    Month/Cycle: 10

    CD: 19

WAYDTGKU: SMEP, temps, opk, pnv, no booze or caffeine

R/R: I was hoping for a positive opk today, but no dice. I’ve o’ed at cd22 a couple times, so hopefully that’ll be happening in the next couple days. (How do so many of us seem to have the same issue right now?) I had bought a pineapple in preparation, and cut it a couple days ago, so I’m hoping it keeps. Pineapple starts after o, right? I found conflicting stuff online, but I think the idea is thinning out lining to help implantation, yes?

cs/q: the one about 🍍 and also, do you worry about YH/partner having alcohol? I’m paranoid now that that’s having an effect on sperm. 🤷🏻‍♀️

  • @begging4abump I have never heard about this pineapple gig! I almost bought one today! I may have to join you in this attempt.
  • @begging4abump Yes I eat pineapple after O. It contains bromelain, which has been shown to help implantation. It has a similar mechanism of action to aspirin, it thins the blood and is anti-inflammatory. The theory is that it improves blood flow to the uterus. And it’s delicious, so why not?

  • @begging4abump I lived in PHL 6 years before we moved down here & grew up right outside of it. ::sunglasses face emoji + green heart for the E-A-G-L-E-S::

@misshelen86 I ate pineapple according to when you were supposed one or 2 cycles ago---and promptly remembered, after eating it core & all like what I read said to do, that I'm allergic and it makes my mouth feel so super bad weird. OOPS.

@ejoseph16 Cool! Most of us use Fertility Friend (FF); I'm always interested in the other apps ppl are using.

I posted this same stuff yesterday but I promise there’s an update in my Rant. Any feedback on my CS/Q is greatly appreciated!

    Month: 10/7/2 AL

    CD: 12

WYDTGKU: FF, BBT, PNV, Vitex, NAC, Ubiquinol, Vit D3, Fish Oil/DHA, extra Iron & Folate, just added natural Progesterone cream and Lovenox blood-thinning injections last month.

R/R: Rant—We almost missed the FW this time because it started 5 days early! The past four months I’ve been O on CD 15. Trying to squeeze in BD 2-a-days over the next couple days so we don’t miss O—if it hasn’t already happened! I’m wondering if it’s the new addition of progesterone to the regimen. The progesterone made my cycle run long last month (nothing like being 4 days late with BFNs galore :/). I haven’t used the cream yet this month because it’s supposed to begin again on O day. Wondering if using it last month is the reason I’m fertile so early this month?? Anyone experience this? UPDATE: I’m feeling like a <insert every curse word> idiot!!! I realized the progesterone delayed my last period but somehow my follicular cycle itself stayed right on schedule from the previous month as if my period hadn’t ever been delayed.  So even though FF pushed my O day out to March 6 due to delayed period, my real O day should’ve been maybe March 1st or today.  I’m so freaking pissed because I followed the damn app+negative OPKs & ignored the signs of my cervix getting softer & higher earlier this week, combined with some other telltale signs in CM—plus I was feeling sick & very crampy from antibiotics so not in the mood for sex—and now I think we only got in BD on day of O. I’m just kicking myself for relying on technology!!! :s:(:'(

CS/Q: My temps are all over the place due to crazy work schedule in the wee hours this week. I just changed the time in FF so I wouldn’t have a bunch of open circles. Afraid another high temp tomorrow is gonna show I O-ed too soon.

@begging4abump I did not know that about pineapple! As for your Q: I do worry about my partner & alcohol but he doesn’t drink very often so I try to be chill about it. *Also, on the rare occasion he does drink too much he can’t perform anyway lol so I guess nothing to worry about if nothing’s going on? :D

@kagesstarshroom OMG I cannot STAND grocery shopping w DH. He is totally unhelpful & acts like he’s on another planet where he doesn’t understand the new customs or language. God bless you & YH’s grocery store date nights!

@ejoseph16 Welcome to this whole TTC madness! It can be fun...and consuming if you let it. I use Pregmate OPKs & pregnancy tests from amazon. They are incredibly sensitive and super inexpensive. (100 OPKs & 50 HPTs for $24 is the big combo box; they have lots of other smaller boxes and the packaging is cute too.)

@misshelen86 Those tacos sound amazing, have fun with your friends!

@MrsJessS Hang in there & then enjoy your 3-day-weekend! Good luck w telling your boss you’re quitting—that is a freedom in itself. :)

@kerco925 Hope you’re feeling better soon & that you get a +OPK right after!

@emeraldduchess Yay for all that work getting done! Impressive! I loved when I taught 5th grade; it’s exactly as you describe it. Kudos to you!
  • @keikilove Sounds like this cycle has been stressful. Sorry for that. It’s kind of hard for this novice to tell o with those temps, but you might be totally fine. I’m not sure what opk you’re using, but with cb, I think it’s peak the day before o, which would give you -1 and 0. Not bad at all! Plus, if you still have EWCM, you might not yet have o’ed. This process is so hard, and it’s so frustrating. Here’s to hoping to lucky cycle 10s for us!
  • @begging4abump yes it’s an easy read for sure! Glad you’re enjoying it!
  • Fell behind on this again lol

    Month/Cycle: 4

    CD: 14

WAYDTGKU: Benched: OvuSense  temping, PNV, Maca, fertiliTEA, DH on supplements.

R/R: over at the in laws tonight visiting. I didn’t have to cook tonight which was great! I also just ordered Wonfos from amazon!

CS/Q: I’ve missed so many days temping it’s not even worth it to put up here right now lol.
  • @keikilove I hope you at least feel like you solved a mystery? And--it only takes once! So at least you got some BD in rather than completely striking out. You never know, you know? Also, 😭 to YH being a bad grocery store companion.

@madcouplewithabox I felt so accomplished when I ordered my first wondfos!
  • @begging4abump & @kagesstarshroom Thank you for the feedback and positive thoughts! You’re right, it only takes once so keeping my fingers crossed. It does feel good to think I may have solved the mystery but also makes me wonder how the next cycle will go if I continue the progesterone. Will just have to be super vigilant w symptoms next time around if this isn’t my lucky number 3rd try. Thanks, ladies!
