Happy Women’s History Month! Who is a woman that inspires you?
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

  • Janelle Monae! Who came out as pansexual recently (last summer maybe?) and put that word in the mouth of popular culture, which I think is super important. I also dig her aesthetic and her music. She's a GREAT performer, too. I saw her live at Philly's first MIA festival and I was like "Who Is This Woman I Am In Love."

  • Elizbeth Blackwell, the first female physician in the US.  She was very vocal about the intersection of social equality and medicine/health, which was considered a very "feminine" view within the world of medicine.  She also was a HUGE proponent of educating women.
