Not concerned. Just curious since there's so much new research and knowledge about food allergy is increasing. Trying to learn as much as I can from my doc, but also other sources since appointments are short and they can't cover everything. Since I posted, I found this -- https://www.medicaldaily.com/eczema-infants-could-be-tied-development-food-allergies-247855
Eczema, which is a condition that consists of dry flaky skin, but is more than just the occasional dry patch, can be a sign that your child has higher risks of food allergies.

Re: Doc says dry skin linked to food allergies?
I haven't. However, my daughter hasn't had very much dry skin.
Are you concerned about you doctor's capability or perspectives? If so, I'd start doing some research and switch doctors.
