WTO Thursday 2/21

**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW (trigger warning) and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. Thanks for keeping this a safe place for us all to engage!**

    @lcking82 enjoy your weekend away.

    @kimmer1412 I really want to swim some laps because that sounds amazing. I can get in the hot tub afterwards too which will soothe my sore muscles. Great job on your test!

    @marebear15 my last phone update has caused my phone to dial everyone I'm texting. If I don't exit the text box after sending or reading a text my phone will start calling them. People have told me they can hear me talking in the background when this happens. 🙄 it's so annoying. I'm so ready for the next update to come out so they can fix it.

    @inthewoods23 good luck with your US.

    @b_1029 your trip sounds great! Looks like O should be confirmed tomorrow.

    @emeraldcity1214 the best remedy for sore muscle is deep massage. it will hurt for 30 sec and then it will feel good. it took a while for my husband to understand this  :D Now he ask for my massages.

    @lcking82 where are you going?

    @kimmer1412 congrats on acing this test!

    @marebear15 is it the latest iPhone update?

    @bakerstreetboys good luck with this IVF cycle!  <3

    R/R: So I got a peak smiley on my OPK today- I was kind of surprised because I usually get high fertility for at least 2 days before peak. So need to quickly HIO tonight, tomorrow and maybe even Saturday for good measure. I am kind of annoyed that DH has been out of town so we weren't able to do it yesterday or the day before :(

    @inthewoods23 @madcouplewithabox it won't be a problem to Bump at my desk. I just don't think I will have any time. I am going to have to learn all new stuff and there is a huge workload waiting for me already. Hopefully I find some time in the morning.

    @b_1029 I'm hoping it is. I don't usually like to HIO on back to back days but since he has to work it's the only way we will get the timing right. We used pressed last night and when he saw the packaging his eyes got big and he asked how much I paid for that. 😂 I was like, just indulge my TTC crazy okay!

    b_1029 So many things to do in Montreal!  Take a walk up Mont Royal if the weather is nice, go down to Old Montreal and see the old port, visit the botanical gardens, shop :)  If the weather isn't nice, you can walk for blocks in the underground shopping mall.  If you're there to do any shopping, don't miss Simon's!  Ooh, and Montreal style bagels, yum!!  Have fun :)

    R/R: Is it just me or does anyone else get ragey around O? My chin is all broken out and I just wanna yell and scream. I’m still mad about yesterday and heading into the office to discuss why we are leaving the center. Add in anxiety over feeling stuck between a rock and a hard place with our house and my job, plus being 36 soon and TTC = I ate a fist sized chocolate heart in three days.

    CS/Q: took my temp at 3 and almost 6 and there was a degree difference. I do usually get a decent dip before O. I was wearing my retainer both times, so that can throw things off. I’m gonna be so upset if I ovulated this early. I doubt it because the last OPK I took was negative, but who knows. I’ll check when I get home.

    @madcouplewithabox I haven’t run in over a month. It’s driving me crazy! My BIL was supposed to give us his treadmill so I could run at home (crazy winter this year!), but he didn’t. I’m frustrated. It’s a great way to clear your head. Hopefully you can get back to it soon!

    @begging4abump I know it’s crazy! I’m interviewing student teachers for next year on Monday because I am finally able to take one of my own. I can’t wait! I have applications to go through! What grade did you student teach? Are you teaching now?
  • Options
    @ejoseph16 It’s cool that you get to interview student teachers. I volunteered to have one and just got assigned one.

    @begging4abump Yay for not having to shovel! We have a snowblower, but I haven’t learned how to use it and the only time I can use it is after bedtime, but I don’t want to wake people up... so I shovel if DH is at the FH, which has been the case the last 2 times it snowed.

    @spartanrd4 We are in a similar boat. DH is working a 36, so at least two days were wasted and then add in missing out on two other days = feeling like timing isn’t so great this cycle

    @b_1029 I think calling the EAP is a good idea. Keep us posted.

    @NYTino24 Sorry about all the tough emotions and tough shoveling! I don’t think that I’ve noticed extra rage around o. I think all that hio helps, lol. And thank goodness for chocolate.

    @ejoseph16 I student taught 7th ELA in summer school and the fall. Then, in the spring, I had sophomores and seniors in hs. I was 24 at the time, so teaching second semester 18 year olds was a little uncomfortable at times. I stepped away from teaching a couple years ago, but I’ll bet I’ll be back.
