Taking prednisone while pregnant

I started taking prednisone at 13 weeks bec i was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and was flaring really bad. I am on 60mg and i and weaning off now. All my drs say it is safe while pregnant but I can’t help but worry. Anyone on prednisone thru out their pregnancy and baby be healthy

    Your Dr's wouldn't prescribe something that would hurt the baby unless it's 100% worth it for your health and pose very little risk for the baby. In your case they all say it's safe. It's safe.
