Lanie never scared me, probably because I got to know her through the natural birth mamas check-in first. But Poe, man, Poe was smart and well-reasoned and eloquent.

It's like Heather, man. A liberal who can debate strikes fear into the heart of any good conservative.

Umm, I'm still scared of Poe and Nerds. I've never had the opportunity to see Lanie in action on the baby boards, but she hung out on NEY when I was first lurked on theknot. She scares me in a lose-control-of-all-my-bodily-functions way.
