What’s everyone thankful for this week? There is a lot about this journey that is really hard, so it is good to focus on the little (or big!) things that are going well!

I am thankful for my H. He is being so patient and kind with my PGAL anxiety, and he is always confident about this pregnancy even when I feel down. He has taken over 99% of the housework even though I insist pregnancy does not preclude me from helping. And even though we don't usually do Valentine's gifts, he doted on me with a small plant, a book of letter prompts for me to write to the baby, and tea/crackers/ginger ale to help curb my nausea. I am so thankful for him ❤

I am thankful for every day I have this little one inside me and my big (3 year old) beside me. Also thankful for my husband for always being so understanding and for helping out a bit more now that the symptoms have kicked in.

Thankful for my job, my amazing team, and everything outside of my family that makes it easier to concentrate on my family. If my job wasn't as flexible and my commute non-existent I'm pretty sure I'd be stressing a lot more right now.

(Not that my family isn't thankfulness-inducing, mind you, but I know I'd be majorly on edge if I had to factor in a 1hr commute and a job that couldn't be done at home in a pinch)

Thankful for my DH, who is not a fan of Valentine's Day, but called me very eager to hear about my appt. this morning and to wish me a happy VD. He really does so much for our family despite a high stress and busy job. And for my crazy, but healthy and smart and perfect boys. And for my parents, who I appreciate more during the month of February when they go to Florida and I realize exactly how much they do to help us (and I need them to come back now).

I'm thankful for DH who does everything he can to provide for his family. And already received a couple messages mentioning cookies for the kids and whether or not I like dark chocolate.

My husband. Third trip to the grocery store this week to get things I forgot. He’s also been very gracious on the nights when I announce dinner will be leftovers (again) because I’m too tired to cook.

Well all of those posts just made my hormonal self tear up!! 😭😜

I’m so very thankful that this baby is in my uterus and it has a beautiful heartbeat!!

@ceclarlinetlo that's so super precious! I'm dying for that day over here (and totally prompting him him whenever I can).

@galentine I'm so happy for you to have such a wonderful support. And maybe a tiny bit jealous. SO is usually so good at helping and making me feel loved, but today has been kind of a dud, so I'm glad someone's got a man hitting all the right marks.

@melanier26 the kids are the reason we go through all this. It's so great when you just get to sit back and revel in the love you have for them.

@grapeskittles4lyfe those are great things to be thankful for and truly a whole lot less weight and pressure to carry around when dealing with pregnancy.

@junebabyh so glad you have great family all around. Although I had to laugh at myself when you started to mention the rents. I thought you were going to end up saying you were thankful for them being away, lol. Much better the way you said it 😜

@sorarose ummm yummm yummm, cookies and chocolates! How sweet!

@brownbarista what a good hubby! I'm so right there with you on constantly forgetting something everytime I go to the store lately.

@emily1052 me too! it's so nice to read the good things we get even when times have been rough or tiring.

@brownbarista - I went to the store two different times on Wednesday and still managed to not buy trashbags, even after I made a mental note the first time I forgot them.

I'm going to go with being thankful for the possibility of giving my DS a sibling. Truth time ladies, I'm not just AMA, I'm a dinosaur. So to have gotten one perfect child already at the age of 39, and the possibility of following it up at 41, definitely thanking my lucky stars.

I’m thankful for some changes at my job that are totally coming at just the right time. It should hopefully lighten my load and definitely improves my commute, two things which will be sorely needed as this pregnancy (hopefully) progresses.

@cooaladolly I turn 40 this year and sometimes I feel like the oldest person I know. At the same time I feel so lucky that I’m this age and I’m going to hopefully have my second baby this year.

Love this thread! Great idea 💖 I am so thankful for my sweet, almost three year old, baby boy. He is just the sweetest. He is the first one I told when I saw the positive pregnancy test. He told me tonight, "Mama I'm sad I can't see our baby yet." He is going to be such a great big brother. I'm also very thankful for my DH who works hard, and a lot, so that we can have all that we do. Grateful Mama over here. Happy Valentine's Day y'all! ❤️❤️❤️

@ceclarlinetlo 😆 Get this: I went to Walmart and got a storage bin. I get home and realize I got the wrong lid. Over the next three weeks I make two more trips to Walmart specifically to get the right lid. I’ve been wrong THREE times. I don’t know how this keeps happening. Something is wrong with my brain. The baby is sucking my brain out through my uterus.
