Are FRER Digitals as sensitive as Wondfos?

Anyone know the hcg threshold for a FRER digital versus a wondfo? Are they comparable?

Re: Are FRER Digitals as sensitive as Wondfos?

  • This article might be helpful. Here's another one that talks about the Wondfo tests in more detail. It says this about hCG levels:
The minimum hCG level detected by this pregnancy test has numerous citations. While most scientific literature accounts for minimum value to be 25 mIU/ml, there are some which mention a low level of 10 mIU/ml. Wondfo Pregnancy Test accuracy and sensitivity depends on hCG levels detected.

  • Thank you! I've had some conflicting results and it made me wonder!

  • I always got a faint line on a regular test before a digital read as positive. I’ve gotten faint positives around afternoon of 10 DPO and then it would take until about 13 DPO to get a digital. Those just require a really solid line to read as positive.

  • Good to know, thanks. Never used digitals before, so was curious.

  • I got a positive on a frer digital 2-3 days prior to a wondfo. I’ve never been able to turn a wondfo before 14dpo but did the FRERs by 10 dpo

  • I think I have read that digital take at least 50mIU/ml to read positive but I have gotten + with cheapy target tests/FRER at 14mIU/ml....
