How are you feeling?: Better, though sleepy during the day and hard to sleep at night ... wtf, kid.
Rants/Raves: Rant: none. Rave: also, none. Kind of happy for a "boring" few days/week.
Questions: Does anyone have any family that you just don't get along with/don't communicate with? For various reasons, one of DH's siblings is on my very short list of people I just "can't even" with and I'm sure she's going to cause some melodrama when the news gets out that we're expecting (if it hasn't already, we don't know because neither of us talk with her). How do - or don't - you deal with things like this? I just can't stand someone who feels the need to destroy happy occasions because it's not about them.

Me - anovulatory, non-Insulin PCOS, DH - low end of "normal" sperm count
IUI#1 - 02/15 - Cancelled due to scrubbed sperm count <1MM
IVF#1 - 08/15 - 13x5-day blastocysts (ranging from AA-BB, most are 5 or 6), not PGS, on ice
FET#1 - 10/15 - 1 emb - BFP (DD 07/16) (estrace + PIO sesame oil + prometrium)
FET#2 - 07/17 - 1 emb - BFN (estrace + PIO sesame oil + prometrium)
FET#3 - 08/17 - 1 emb - BFN (estrace + PIO sesame oil + prometrium)
FET#4 - 10/17 - 2 emb - BFN (changed to estrace + prometrium because of allergic reaction to PIO sesame oil)
ERA Testing - 12/17 - window moved (-1 day)

How are you feeling?: Having some aches on the sides of my lower abdomen, which I'm attributing to round ligament pain. Also noticing that I'm getting winded a lot easier. The elevator was out at work today and I had to make two trips to carry up all my stuff!
Rants: We are flying later this week and talks of another government shutdown have me stressed out! :-(
Raves: My Bellaband! Loving that I can still wear my pre-pregnancy pants and be comfortable!
Questions: If you plan to register for gifts, when does everyone plan to start registering? We will be since this is our first. Wondering if registering in March is too early for June/July showers?
GTKY—If you could meet one person, living or dead, who would it be and why?: Henrietta Lacks, who technically fits both categories. It would be interesting to know the woman who's cells paved the way for many advancements to modern medicine.

How are you feeling?: Pretty good. I still get tired very easily and suddenly. DD and DH were both very sick. I think I dodged the worst of it and just got a minor sore throat. Got a strep test just in case that came back negative.
Rants: Same as @lo@Lotus_2008 We are flying later this week too and the head of the flight attendant union is calling for a strike if the govt shuts down???? No!!!!
Raves: Got our NIPT results back. Low risk and a boy!

How are you feeling?: Still throwing up occasionally, but overall better
Rants/Raves: I'm anxious to know the sex of this baby. I don't care either way. This is my last...So, I just want to know if I get to reuse my 2 DDs clothes OR have to buy boy stuff.
Questions: Anyone else gain a bunch of weight already? I'm up 20 pounds...But hoping to eat better once the nausea stops.
GTKY—If you could meet one person, living or dead, who would it be and why?: My great grandparents. They came to the US in the early 1900s from Romania. I'd like to know more about their story.

@MamaK225 I have one of those.... attention starved SIL got pregnant right after we got engaged, baby was three weeks old at our wedding and you would have thought all the relatives flew in just to see her baby 🙄. We got pregnant (planned) right away and BAM she was pregnant again - or so she said - I didn’t believe it. My advice is to be the bigger person, but that can be difficult depending on DHs stance. Luckily mine moved almost 1,000 miles away so she’s not trying to “compete” this go round. Although she did have some name suggestions... I think DH knows better than to tell me anything else she suggests.

How are you feeling?: Can’t say I’m less nauseated or the nausea will come back 😂.
Rants/Raves: I was thinking I might be able to feel my uterus around now but just feels like regular old intestines, no firm bump (although I have a little “bump” bc my belly pooches out more now). I carry a little weight around the middle normally, people call me skinny (vain hair flip) but I’m technically overweight by BMI so it’s probably a little too cushioned to feel. This is more of a meh than a rant/rave but I don’t feel stronger about other things this week.

@MamaK225 Sounds like you’re already doing what I’d want to do, which is avoid! I only have dramatic distant relatives so they’re easier to avoid than a sister, I don’t have any great advice but good luck!

@Lotus_2008 @Twinkiedoll Meeeeeee threeeeeeeeee on the traveling (flying next Monday) and it’s a super important work thing worth a year and a half’s worth of work and I cannot physically drive to it in time if planes get delayed by more than a day. I’m trying not to borrow trouble and just deep breaths and surely, after all that I’ve done to prepare for the thing, ALL OF AMERICAN AIRPLANE TRAVEL will not shut down bad enough to make me miss it. Or let me die in a plane crash there/back because there’s not enough air traffic controllers. I take back what I said earlier about not having a real rant. I may be my family’s dramatic relative! 🤪😂😭😭

How are you feeling?: Y'all. I'm having a hard time keeping up with this board. I was SO sick at first they diagnosed HG. Then felt a bit better, meds were working, but got a sinus infection. Literally the day after I felt human again, I got a stomach virus. I was in the ER last night for the 3rd time getting fluids. Today I feel much better but I've accepted that a headache and nausea are here to stay til August.
Rants/Raves: Rant: I'm sick of being sick. Rave: I got my hands on some Girl Scout cookies today. And was able to actually eat a few.
Questions: Not yet.

@Lotus_2008 - This is my second and I'm still registering. My in laws will ask what we want/need, and I don't see why I can't get a completion discount on the few things on it. I don't think March is too early. Ours is already started. I started our registries (yes, we had 2) very early with my first and spent months adding/removing/changing things. So imo, never too early. Might as well have it ready. You don't have to advertise.
@MamaK225 - I'm sorry you're dealing with problematic family. To answer your question, I do not speak to my mother. I've had no contact other than writing a letter to establish NO CONTACT since I was 17 weeks pregnant with my first in 2016. My BMB was extremely helpful, we had a weekly "Why My Family is Driving Me Crazy" thread to talk through things. In your situation, I'm glad you have your husband on your side and plenty of distance. It can still be really difficult to ignore bad behavior, especially with pregnancy hormones in play. The way I dealt with it was ignore until I spoke up for myself and was very straight with how their behavior made me feel. That was never accepted, so I had to make a choice to either deal with their behavior or cut it out. Sounds like you already don't deal with her directly, so maybe relay to those who do speak with her that you have no interest in her opinions or whatever reaction or negativity she has. I actually had to restrict my siblings from telling me news about my mother during my pregnancy because it stressed me so much. That was really helpful because even though it put them in a tough spot and they hate my choice, they accepted it. Good luck, use us when you need to vent!
