WAYDTGKU: IUI #3 with letrozole and trigger, PNV, vit D, maybe try SMEPing prior to trigger shot since DH's numbers were better for IUI #2 when we BD'ed once prior to trigger shot day instead of no BD after AF and before trigger during IUI #1.
R/R: today the owner of our company comes for a visit today so I gotta make sure I'm not slacking getting ready in the morning and get in at 8 (as I stand here in my bathroom mobile bumping not getting ready haha). I was getting in a little after 8 most of last week. We're having some kind of "town hall meeting" in the afternoon and we've been asked to submit any questions we have for the guy so I'm trying to think of a few I could ask. My coworker, for whatever reason, decided to copy all of us in our group when he submitted his questions to HR. His were about stocks or something and I have no idea why he'd include us. I really don't know crap about stocks nor do I really care. I probably should I guess, but I still don't understand the point of copying us on the email he sent of his questions 🤷

R/R: rant: it’s monday boooo; rave: had a great weekend, the winery went to was awesome and I’m so glad we joined. The lady doing our tasting gave us all these extra tastes to “compare vintages” and we were just like sweet free wine lol.
CS/Q: couple questions today. Is there a place on here to post pictures of OPKs to get opinions on which of my two is the peak? Is it okay on here in a spoiler? I know POS pics aren’t allowed anywhere but the one thread but wasn’t sure about OPKs and I’m having trouble deciding if I peaked yesterday or today. 2nd: when do you switch to TWW, I started there last month so never had to switch over, after o pains or confirmed temp rise?
@inthewoods23 sounds like an intense day!! I hope you can find some time for bumping in the bathroom or something. I hate it when people create unnecessary email too. As if we don't already have enough of that!
@kopp5988 I don't know about pics of OPKs. I personally wouldn't really care (especially if it didn't include the part you peed on) but I'm going to let somebody else answer because I don't want to offend anybody. And, you can really move over to TWW when you feel like you O'd. There's no hard rules since O is hard to pinpoint. I Myself move over a couple days after +OPK. BUT I can be wrong too (see my post below).
Month/cycle: 9
CD: ?
WAYDTGKU: Just generally failing at this cycle (see below)
R/R: well I thought I O'd last week because I had fertile CM last weekend but not much during the week. Well, Saturday comes and it was like the gates of heaven opened up and several days' worth of CM came forth out of nowhere. Yesterday, I was feeling nutso so I just peed on an OPK (which I hadn't done at all this cycle) and lo and behold, it was a blazing smiley face. I'm a bit miffed because we weren't HIO anymore since I was traveling, and thought I already O'd, but at least we got a couple in this weekend. Anywho, today is O day so I'll hang out here for one more day.
CS/Q: nope, crazytown over here. I hate this cycle.
@kopp5988 lol to your wine story. The one time I was at a wine tasting at a winery you could either sample 3 or all 10 of their wines. The cost of tasting 10 wines vs 3 wasn't that much different (like a few bucks) so of course we all did the 10.
I'm not sure about your OPK question, but with moving to the TWW I think everyone is a little different. Some wait for cross hairs in FF, others wait for the temp shift on BBT, or a combo of things. Since I'm doing IUIs I move over the day after the procedure so it's a little more clear cut for me. If you think you've O'ed then there's nothing wrong with moving into the TWW even if you're off by a day or 2.

@jennifer_louise I had a cycle once where my OPKs weren't really that positive but I considered it so (I was a bit of a Wondo noob at the time). About a week later something had me feeling the need to test again and that time it was definitely positive and I was just like, well thank God I did that because I would have been spending a week wondering why AF was late and getting BFN.

CS/Q: I thought I O'ed over the weekend, but my temps haven't confirmed it and I still have a good amount of EWCM. My OPK yesterday was positive in the morning but negative in the afternoon. Guess we'll have to keep HIO...
@inthewoods23 Good luck with the company owner today!
@kopp5988 Mmmm, wine! I always think free wine always tastes better than it actually is, haha. I'm also not sure about the OPK question. I wouldn't be offended, and I think many of us can relate to how frustrating they can be to interpret. I had a fluke positive on my last cycle and then O'd 6 days later and it made me all kinds of confused.
@jennifer_louise Ugh, my last cycle was super confusing like that, too. Hopefully what you were able to get in is enough!
@emeraldduchess You can do it! Here's hoping this isn't the longest week ever for you!

@inthewoods23 Sorry about CD2. FX for IUI #3! Hope everything goes well at work.. as if Mondays aren’t crazy enough!
@kopp5988 Someone (sorry I don’t remember who) had mentioned the app Premom.. you take pics of your OPK and it tells you when you are low, high, peak by comparing the strength of the control vs test line. I just started using it yesterday but seems easy enough and it’s free!
@jennifer_louise Oh no I’m so sorry that O happened later than you thought. Glad you were able to get some HIO in this weekend though!
WAYDTGKU: Ava, SMEPish/HIO, CM, FF, RLT, fertility yoga, cutting back on caffeine

@kopp5988 it's best to not post them. I do understand how frustrating it can be to distinguish. There is an app that was recommended in the CS/Q thread that will read them for you. But I've noticed many here say that they were not sure until they saw a positive. It was unmistakable. Also, how many times a day are you doing OPK?
@misshelen86@kopp5988 The Easy@home brand OPKs on Amazon come with an app like that too. FF has line reader, but I've found it doesn't work very well at all for OPKs.

@misshelen86 thanks I will check out that app for sure. Hope you start to feel better soon.
@prpl11butterfly thanks I’ll check out the CS/Q thread. I’ve been doing it 2-3 times per day, the issue is that I’m always too hydrated in the afternoon so I can’t get a high/peak. It seemed peak yesterday morning and then it was lower in the afternoon so I assumed it was coming down but then this morning it looked almost the same as yesterday morning. So maybe I actually peaked in the afternoon but my hydration messed it up 🤷🏼♀️
@shamrocandroll Glad you two are going to take some time to focus on each other and bring back the romance. We are trying to do the same this month as HIO was becoming more of a chore.

@inthewoods23 good luck today with the head honcho visit and meeting this afternoon. @kopp5988 your wine tasting sounds awesome. Yay more free wine! Haha. I like to pretend I know what I'm talking about. Sometimes I sound smart and impressive. Sometimes I just sound drunk // re: OPKs, unfortunately there isn't really anywhere on here where you can post those things. My only real recommendation (besides the app) is to see if there's anyone that would offer to try to decipher it for you and you can PM them. That way nobody will accidentally come across any pee sticks that they didn't want to see. As for moving over to TWW, it's usually personal preference. I used to move over as soon as I got my temp rise but after a few false rises I started waiting for CH. Now that I have O confirmed by ultrasound I can safely move over the same day. @jennifer_louise ugh, that's so frustrating about your cycle! Sorry things are so wonky. But hopefully good news that you didn't completely miss your FW! @emeraldduchess the end is near! GL surviving this week. // and FX for O soon! I dunno what's ish-about your SMEPping this month because it looks pretty bang on to me (bahaha pun not intended but now I'm laughing at myself)!! @shamrocandroll *hugs* hi! Glad you stopped in, hope you'll still stick around a bit while you're benched. I love that you're going to spend the time to keep the romance alive, I feel like that's the first thing to go when you've been TTGP for 3+ months. At the beginning it's all fun and games, then... it's not. @misshelen86 so sorry you caught that cold! Boo! Hope you can kick it soon. Sickly HIO is so not the same.
Oh hi, I'm still here. False O alarm this weekend.
Month/Cycle: 14/11

WAYDTGKU: PNVs, BBT/RHR, CM, Vit C & D, Vit B12, Omega 3s, CoQ10, Metformin, Ovasitol, PCOS/low carb diet, no caffeine, HIO EOD, softcups, letrozole + TI
R/R: Rant: More snow is coming tomorrow and the clinic wants me to go in even though I've already cancelled all my morning meetings and don't plan on going into the office if the roads are really bad. I already told the clinic that if the weather is bad I'm not coming, and regardless of whether I O tonight or tomorrow, we're skipping a day today and will HIO tomorrow so it doesn't change anything other than being more precise pin-pointing ovulation. Secondary rant, I haven't friggen ovulated yet. I was sure I did Saturday because my O pains were awful and I spent an hour in bed with a heating pad. Then yesterday at the golf show I was miserable and in so much pain (crampy, achy, sore, lots of O pain on my left side) and took another 3 hour nap before dinner. Felt much better in the evening so thought for sure I finally ovulated. Went in for my scan this morning, nope, 31mm follie still hanging out. Really hoping it doesn't turn into a cyst. Also, I reached a new level of intimacy with Humpy Humphrey the Dog last night. Ugh! I'm so disgusted and unimpressed. Rave: We left Humpy downstairs for our spontaneous mid-afternoon BD on Saturday and he was so quiet and didn't even destroy anything. That was a huge win. Then there was last night... But despite me being miserable from O pain, we had a really nice weekend visiting with friends even though one of the puppies literally pee'd all over the house, like 25 times, because she's not completely house-trained yet. I'm still slightly annoyed and even more convinced I don't want another dog after this. Not for a while anyway.
CS/Q: Two questions today. 1. I had a huge temp spike this morning but as of 8:30am I still hadn't ovulated. Normally I get my spike the day after O. Ok maybe this isn't really a question because I need to see what happens over the next few days but from everything I know about charting, my BBT shouldn't spike until after O, right? 2. .... nevermind, I forget what my second question is already.

@inthewoods23 sounds like SMEP is the way to go! I hear 3rd time is charm, so hopefully that applies to your IUI as well. Good luck with the owner and the meeting!
@kopp5988 the winery sounds awesome, glad you all had fun! Agreed with others on the OPKs - better safe than sorry.
@jennifer_louise ahhh that's so frustrating about your cycle. At least you were able to get some BD in this weekend!
@emeraldduchess how long do you get off for vacation? Are you doing anything fun/relaxing? GL getting through the week, hopefully it's over quickly!
@shamrocandroll hi! that's great that you all are going to focus on romance. That all goes out the window so quickly when TTC. Good job!
@misshelen86 I hope you feel better soon! Colds are never fun.
@kiki047 LAME about the fake O. Hopefully you O for real ASAP. That's so annoying about the snow + clinic - better safe than stuck on the road or something. As you said, it won't really change much. Sorry you were in so much pain all weekend! Really curious what this "new level" with the dog was...I can only imagine. As for your Q, my understanding is that yes your BBT would spike after O.

WAYDTGKU: hmmm. Still deciding. Right now EPO, BBT, hormone supplement, trying to decide if I want to spend more on OPKs or not. I'm definitely actually going to attempt eating healthier this cycle.
R/R: I posted this in the IF thread but I saw *TW*
so many (4) pregnancy announcements this weekend. I need to get over the whole "time" thing - like the "oh they've only been married for 8 months, must be nice" attitude. I think what bothers me the most about one is that she's my cousin's (who accidentally got KU and has the cutest effing baby ever) best friend and now I'm just envisioning them gallivanting around with their babies. I WANT TO JOIN THE CLUB DANG IT
Also it's Monday and I'm half asleep today. In good news, my mom comes on Friday and I'm so excited to hang out with her! It's always so good for the soul.
CS/Q: just trying to decide if I should stick around in the dailies? It kind of hurts my heart to write out the month/cycle at this point
@b_1029 let's just say it was straddling the line between 2nd and 3rd base... *shudder* // so sorry about all the announcements over the weekend. I also had a really tough weekend with other LOs. I KWYM about not knowing what to do about posting in the dailies, but I think I'm still in denial about IF so I'm avoiding posting in there ATM too. *hugs* Know that wherever you do decide to post, we've got your back!

@shamrocandroll no, you really don't want to know. It's NSFW anyway. He knows I'm mad at him because he's been exhibiting a lot of really anxious behaviour (trembling, lots of air licking where he just keeps licking his lips/the air for 20 mins at a time, circling 100 times before lying down, then getting up again 3 mins later) but I'm really just not impressed with him right now. Plus one of my cats has gone on a hunger strike because this is the longest stretch we've ever had the dog and the cats get basically NO time with us when we have him so they're really unhappy. I'm so ready for him to go back to his Mom's in 2 weeks.

@inthewoods23 I'm so sorry to see you here @kopp5988 I switch to TWW after I'm confident in my temp rise. I don't know rules about posting OPKs, but I personally don't care if someone posts one in a spoiler. @jennifer_louise that's so frustrating! @emeraldduchess good luck getting through this week until vacation! @misshelen86 good luck HIO with a cold. That sounds miserable haha! @kiki047 that's confusing. Give it a few days and the picture might be clearer. But yes, BBT should go up 1-2 days after O.
@b_1029 **TW** I totally understand. Our feelings aren't always rational. Even after I got my BFP, I would get mad seeing other BFPs, especially if they had been married less than a year. Hell, even now I still have those "gosh must be so nice to not struggle" thoughts. @kiki047 ohhhhh no that's about what I was imagining. I'm so sorry!!! (but also laughing )
@inthewoods23 you make a great point! It does help me feel normal. I think I would miss you all too much if I left.
@daffodil_shoe mine isn't working either! I keep hoping it'll straighten out after each update but it doesn't. I basically post and ghost if I'm on during the weekend since it hardly ever functions enough to let me love tit or tag. Are you feeling any differently on the Letrozole than you did on Clomid?
@b_1029 I just finished my last pills yesterday morning and I feel the same. I never had any side effects on Clomid, and don't feel like I'm having any on Letrazole.
@kiki047 boo for false O's! I'm with ya there too. Lady, your dog troubles half crack me up, half horrify me. I feel like there are already too many bedroom hurdles that adding one more would be sooo rough.
@b_1029 don't leave us!! But I get what you mean, I feel like keeping up with the dailies is fine for a few months but can get depressing after a while. It's just not fair that you have to see all those announcements! I Myself threw an announcement straight in the trash a couple weeks ago, not my finest moment.
@daffodil_shoe wow, busy week!! My mobile app doesn't work well either, I usually just open it in the browser. That way is much less infuriating.
Are you guys using Android or Apple phones? I don't have any major issues with the app except for stupid text stuff. Love tits always work for me.

@inthewoods23 I’m on an Apple iPhone. The app basically treats me like a newb on the 72-hour waiting period. I’m logged in, but can’t comment or love tit. It just started a couple weeks ago. I’ve tried redownloading, sign out and back in...nothing changes.
@inthewoods23 I'm also on an iphone. It will randomly work, but most of the time when I try to lovetit it will give me an error message and say I have to enable javascript? And if I try to tag someone, I can write out the entire username and it still won't actually come up to select. It has been doing it for like a month now and I'm very over it! Don't they know I need TB mobile for all my nighttime/weekend stalking?!
@jennifer_louise oh man, I've never gotten an announcement in the mail. At least I can just hide them on social media and it's not in my face.
@daffodil_shoe glad to hear you did well on both meds! I felt like death on Clomid so I'm always just curious
@daffodil_shoe@b_1029 sounds like you need to throw out your iPhones. Jk. I'm just not a fan of apple products. Since I'm on Android that's probably why I don't see any major issues

@inthewoods23 Reply all people are THE.WORST!!! @b_1029 I speak from a different place so it may not help, but I did keep participating every few days or so when benched. I felt less alone, but I understand where you’re coming from. We used to have more threads where people could participate if they wanted to participate in the community without actually focusing on where they’re at in TTC. I’ll start posting the Trophy High Tuesday post each week like I used to, starting today. @kiki047 I always used to get false surges with + OPKs. I try to remind myself that multiple signs usually line up for O. I hope it happens soon for you! @misshelen86 I hope you feel better soon.
@kopp5988 I don't know about pics of OPKs. I personally wouldn't really care (especially if it didn't include the part you peed on) but I'm going to let somebody else answer because I don't want to offend anybody. And, you can really move over to TWW when you feel like you O'd. There's no hard rules since O is hard to pinpoint. I Myself move over a couple days after +OPK. BUT I can be wrong too (see my post below).

I wouldn't be offended, and I think many of us can relate to how frustrating they can be to interpret. I had a fluke positive on my last cycle and then O'd 6 days later and it made me all kinds of confused.

@kopp5988 it's best to not post them. I do understand how frustrating it can be to distinguish. There is an app that was recommended in the CS/Q thread that will read them for you.

Month/Cycle: 16/17

WAYDTGKU: hmmm. Still deciding. Right now EPO, BBT, hormone supplement, trying to decide if I want to spend more on OPKs or not. I'm definitely actually going to attempt eating healthier this cycle.
R/R: I posted this in the IF thread but I saw *TW*
CS/Q: just trying to decide if I should stick around in the dailies? It kind of hurts my heart to write out the month/cycle at this point

@kopp5988 I switch to TWW after I'm confident in my temp rise. I don't know rules about posting OPKs, but I personally don't care if someone posts one in a spoiler.
@jennifer_louise that's so frustrating!
@emeraldduchess good luck getting through this week until vacation!
@misshelen86 good luck HIO with a cold. That sounds miserable haha!
@kiki047 that's confusing. Give it a few days and the picture might be clearer. But yes, BBT should go up 1-2 days after O.

@b_1029 don't leave us!! But I get what you mean, I feel like keeping up with the dailies is fine for a few months but can get depressing after a while. It's just not fair that you have to see all those announcements! I Myself threw an announcement straight in the trash a couple weeks ago, not my finest moment.
@daffodil_shoe wow, busy week!! My mobile app doesn't work well either, I usually just open it in the browser. That way is much less infuriating.

These past few months have been a never-ending cycle of sickness.
