WAYDTGKU: Prenatal vitamins, Fertility Friend, temping, OPKs, HIO, SMEP(ish), red raspberry leaf tea, cutting down on alcohol.
R/R: I forgot to collect my students' writing portfolios yesterday, so it looks like I am in for an insane amount of editing and correcting next week. 😱 The silver lining there is that we have a break coming up so I can catch my breath!
CS/Q: My temp went back up this morning, so I think O might be today. OPKs were negative yesterday but I had EWCM last night, so I am relying more on my body than those strips. I told DH that we will be HIO all weekend and until I can confirm O. He is totally on board. Haha!
WAYDTGKU: haven’t decided this time around. Maybe nothing?
R/R: lazy Saturday over here which is always nice after a long week! Not much else to report other than AF is kicking my butt with probably the worst cramps I’ve ever had. Thanks for rubbing it in 🙄
@emeraldduchess glad your husband is on board for your HIO marathon, I’m thinking I’ll ovulate tomorrow or Monday so we’re in the same boat. And yay for a “blazing” OPK, get down to business!
@b_1029 enjoy your lazy weekend and I hope AF cramps subside soon
Month/Cycle: 4/3

R/R: had a wonderful lazy Friday night complete with chicken tenders, tater tots, a movie and wine. Spending today at the winery and then probably doing pizza and a movie. Can it always be the weekend please?
CD/Q: had a big temp spike this morning which I’m assuming is due to the mass quantity of wine consumed last night, may have to disregard it in FF if it screws up my crosshairs this month
@kopp5988 Enjoy the day at the winery! Is there any type of wine you like in particular? I find wineries generally peaceful. @emeraldduchess Hooray for your blazing OPK! Have fun HIO! ^_~* @creamcheeseplease We are having a cold couple days down here too, but I feel like I can't complain because it was such a beautiful week. Hope it gets warm for you, soon. @b_1029 ugh so sorry AF is rubbing it in. the worst.

WAYDTGKU: benched, so just PNV
R/R: in on & off pain following yesterday's surgery & generally confused about how this cycle might be different than any previous ones / DH bought me flowers, miso soup, & macrons & insisted he be at my beck & call yesterday-- the dogs have been really sweet to me too. also, everyone at the hospital was super nice. i am rewatching most of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina because i need to do something easy while i am recovering & i am going to be on a podcast tomorrow where we talk about it! Hopefully I won't have to be too hopped up on pain meds.
CS/Q: tw: loss
Any advice on when to start temping again? I am on two weeks of pelvic rest. I am not bleeding much, but in a lot of on & off pain. Even though we are benched/this won't be a "normal" cycle, I still want to give FF as much info as possible? But not if doing so doesn't make sense. Any advice for post mmc/d&c charting/being benched would be appreciated. I am going to check out what TCOYF says, too.
@kagesstarshroom hope you recover from surgery quickly! I really like all wines except for super oaky Chardonnay but my preference is dry reds. The winery we went to had a lovely mountain view so it was very relaxing. I don’t have much advice on when to temp again but I wouldn’t go out of my way to if I were you, just take some time for recovery
@emeraldduchess that sucks about the marking, but yay for O! I love it when it falls on a weekend, lol. @creamcheeseplease have fun at Target! This Canadian is super jealous. @b_1029 ugh, AF. It's bad enough she's an unwelcome visitor, does she have to be such a bitch about it too? Sorry, friend. @kopp5988 Oh man, this gal who doesn't eat carbs at home is salivating at your weekend menu. Also, wine. I was all excited to finish off the bottle of prosecco in the fridge tonight and was so bummed to discover there was probably only an ounce left in the bottom of the bottle, lol. I just poured it in my OJ instead. @kagesstarshroom *hugs* I'm sorry, I have no insights on your questions but sending you lots of love as you recover from the surgery and begin the healing process. That's really amazing about the podcast though, I have so much admiration for you for being open and able to talk about it. How did that come about?
Month/Cycle: 14/11
CD: 11
WAYDTGKU: I have my list saved on my work comp so I really don't feel like typing this out today. The long and short of it is vitamins + metformin + ovasitol + letrozole
R/R: I'm pretty sure I just O'd an hour ago, the mittelschmertz was awful and I've been crampy all afternoon, but am now in bed with a heating pad and feel completely fine, maybe a little achy. Feeling good about our timing this month, and like hella impressed that my body decided to O 9 days earlier than normal. Follie measured at 25mm this morning. Booyah! Got a BD in this afternoon and aiming for a +1 tomorrow (nothing turns me on more than when MF drags me off the couch saying, "let's go upstairs and make a baby" followed by "careful love, gotta protect your baby oven" when I was walking on the ice this evening not that I've ever doubted how much he wants it too but he's not vocal about it on purpose, to protect my heart)
CS/Q: huge temp drop this morning, usually happens right before O.

Lurking @kagesstarshroom, being in your position, I would temp right away. After my mmc at 14 weeks, I ovulated a few weeks after my d&c. Which was nice to know my cycle regulated quickly. After my CP, I had a normal cycle immediately too. Unfortunately, that does not seem to be the case for a lot of women.
@kiki047 my sentence did make it seem like the podcast was about my loss, i see in retrospect, but it is in fact about Sabrina. one of the characters on the show had had losses tho, and i thought about maybe bringing that up as something good the show does (even tho she is a witch not a "mortal," it still helps to normalize a fairly common-but-devastating thing ppl who are txt might go thru. thanks for yr kind words & support. / ah, the wonders of a heating pad! YF sounds very sweet.
@holly321 thanks for the advice! after my CP, my cycle seemed fairly normal, (but I didn't know about temping/charting until partway thru that cycle, so I am basing that on just numbers from tracking AF more than anything else.) I *enjoy* keeping track of things, so i might start again sooner if possible/ as long as it is not a BAD idea, if that makes sense. I am glad that both times you were able to find some comfort in your cycle returning to normal fairly fast.
@kopp5988 The winery experience sounds super chill. We don't have mountains down here, so it also sounds lovely--I am not big on wine, but I always like a shiraz, if i had to choose. I am definitely going to take some time for R&R, for sure.
@kagesstarshroom, I can see how temping when benched can be hard/bad for some women, but it made me feel like I was doing something. Plus, I have a hard time getting in to the habit, so it helped me be regular for once it counted.
I’m so sorry for your loss and hope you’re recovering ok from the d&c. My cycles after d&c’s as well as natural miscarriages have always been a little longer. The latest one in September went 35 days from when I began bleeding. My cycles went back to normal after that. I did start temping during that time and it helped me get used to it while I was benched. Hope that was able to help with your questions! Also, I’ve been meaning to watch Sabrina! I’ll have to check it out soon.
@emeraldduchess Sorry you have a pile of work waiting for you but glad you get a break soon. Sounds like you really need it! FX that O happens soon!
@creamcheeseplease Woohoo for positive OPK! Hope you have fun at Target.
@b_1029 Sorry for CD2. Hope you get some relief from the cramps.

@kagesstarshroom *TW loss* I had a NMC that took 9 days and started temping the morning after I knew for sure it was a MC. We were benched that cycle, but I too, wanted as much info as possible. It was also nice to know when to expect AF again, as I’m usually irregular and temping gives me a lot of info. */TW*
