Sorry for my earlier short caption. It’s a very exciting gestational sac that means the baby is most likely in the right spot this time. Measuring a little small but doctor says that’s perfectly fine. I go back for another ultrasound February 19. By then we should definitely see something including a heart beat!
@emily1052 glad you got some reassurance that everything’s in the right spot.:) My appointment is also on the 19th so I’ll be waiting it out alongside you!
@emily1052 Yes it'll be my first one! I'll be exactly 8 weeks. Really cannot come soon enough! Trying to keep myself as distracted as possible until then.
Today’s US was a disaster. The first RN got quiet then told me she was not sure what she saw. A second RN came in and left quickly. I asked to see the doctor when they said they were getting the NP. He immediately sent me for labs, and when he repeated the US he said there is a small area in the uterus, but not measuring up to where I should be. He is not sure if it stopped forming, is earlier that we calculated or is possibly ectopic. I am devastated.
Thank to all of you for your kind words and support. The labs indicate either a miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy. I will know more after repeat labs and US Wednesday morning. This is heartbreaking for me. But I do wish all of you a happy and healthy pregnancy.
@annierose3 I can understand how sad, stressed and helpless you must be feeling. I’m so sorry you’re going through this and I will stay hopeful for you.

So incredibly sorry for your loss. I know how devastating it is. Sending you love and prayers.
5 weeks 6 days/6 weeks. No fetal pole, only yolk sac. Doctor said that everything is measuring perfectly but I am a nervous wreck. 90% of ultrasounds that I have seen had fetal poles and heartbeats by now. Repeat ultrasound at almost 8 weeks on the 20th.
@imme1990 I totally understand why you’d be anxious! But I’ve seen plenty of ladies in report similar results and return in a week or two to a strong heartbeat. Hang in there, mama!!
I'm 6 weeks going for my ultrasound next week. I'm worried because the first day of my last menstrual period was on Dec 4 however my hubby and I didn't try conceiving till Jan 4. My doctor says they go by the LMP however I know that would make me farther along than I know I am. I had my HCG taken and they said it was low however I think they only think that because they are going by my LMP. Will the ultrasound clear this all up ?? P. S I'm dating my self at 6 weeks based on when I think we concieved.
Hi, @knottie81db7f3a0a7bcef4 and welcome! This is a question best suited for The Great Question Thread. I would try posting it there to get more of a response. This thread is simply to post ultrasound photos. Also, please change your screen name to something more unique, so that we can more easily build a relationship with you (and more easily tag you in discussions). Lastly, take a look at the Board Organization pinned post to familiarize yourself with how this board is run. Congrats to you and I look forward to getting to know you better!

Had our first US today! Measuring right on track at six weeks exactly, and we got to see and faintly hear the heartbeat at 110bpm. Dr was pleased and this mama is very relieved!!
