Hi everyone! Positive test today, I'm pregnant with #2. EDD is 10/20 based on LMP. 1 daughter born Oct 2015. I was pretty active on their board and still talk to (and have met) a few of the girls on the board. It was so nice to go through this with others. I live in Florida. I'm an RN in school to be a nurse anesthetist. I'll be done with school in December. It's going to be the most challenging part of this pregnancy. So busy and stressful! We have a papillon dog named Snickers.
@aprosch I could mostly just copy/paste most of the first half of your post! I just found out this morning that I am pregnant with our number 2 and my EDD based on LMP is 10/20. I have a 19 month old daughter, born in June 2017, but I was part of the July 2017 BMB. I was pretty surprised to see the positive (I had wine last night lol), especially so early, but we're super excited (and nervous lol).

Hello all! I am new to this app so the 72-hour hold on posting was annoying. I felt like I was standing behind a glass window breathing ominously, reading everyone’s posts and not participating. 👀 I’m super into the strict organization though. That’s different and makes a lot of sense.
God willing, we will welcome our third little one around October 8th. I am from California. My husband and I have been married for almost 8 years. We have a 5 year old and 3 year old, both boys. Looking forward to getting to know the other ladies here.
My DH and I are both 40 and we have 7 kids ages almost 14-20 months. We have been married for almost 15 years. We are over the moon excited for this baby. We are due October 18th. I found out at 8 dpo.
I’m a stay at home mom and I love to see and craft.
Hello all. :-) I am jumping in to intro because I have just tested positive with baby #3! I am 4 weeks along (I didn't get a faint positive until 13 dpo!) so still getting used to the idea that I am pregnant again and still nervous. I have two kiddos, a 4 year old and an almost two year old.
Right now I am a teacher in a high school, but when #3 is born I will probably resign from my job and take a few years off because preschool/childcare for three is just not worth it!
I can't think of anything else to share except that during my last pregnancy I had a different username--longliveregina--but I have since switched back to this, my original handle. :-) My first birth month group (February 2-15) was ok, very supportive for a time, but my second birth month group, March 2017, has become REALLY tight online, supporting each other in person and in real life. Who knows where this group will go?
@cuduebor DH’s car broke down this morning so DS and I “rescued” him. He was fine, probably the battery, but he was cold! Things just don’t work so well at -2 degrees!
Hi everyone, I'm feeling a little nervous and superstitious about jumping in this early, but I can't help myself! I was in the Aug 16 board for my son and the group was, and still is, hugely supportive. It was a big part of my pregnancy then, so now that it appears that I'm pregnant again I just couldn't stay away. I started having pregnancy symptoms at about 6-7 days post-ovulation, which thought was impossible. I had just given my husband this big explanation of how there are no symptoms this early on in the process, and that when people think they have symptoms, it's probably just all in their heads. Then, lo and behold, I started to have nausea and fatigue. I wrote it off to the lingering effects of a 24 hour stomach bug I'd had earlier in the week. But then my sense of smell started to get really strong, heartburn kicked in, and the nausea and fatigue never went away! So I picked up some early result pregnancy tests. Monday I had a very faint line and as of today (Thursday) it's a bold, clear line! So I'm 3w3d right now, and my EDD will be 10/20 if this pregnancy sticks. As I said, it feels a little early to fully jump into pregnancy emotionally. But I hope to be able to stay in this group for the next 9 months!
I'm a SAHM of one son, 2 1/2, and I live in Colorado. At 36 I'll be considered AMA, so that will be different this time. It's a major goal of mine to stay in shape more than I did the first time around. I was sitting at a desk all day then, and now I have a lot more freedom to stay active, so I'm hoping that will make a difference. Also different this time is that I'm a SAHM now and we're on a tighter budget and I can't just go buy every pregnancy product or service that I might like to. And the biggest difference of all this time is that now I have a very active toddler to chase around! I'm dreading the time when the major fatigue hits and I can't just collapse in bed at 6pm like I did the first time. I look forward to getting to know everyone here, and giving and getting support for all of these areas and more!
@soralette awesome that your an FET mama too! I hope your pregnancy goes nice as smooth as well! Thank you for edd help, so it seems Oct 12th for me! When was your transfer?
@Snaps816 Maybe the intense early symptoms mean...twins?! Kidding. AMA doesn’t matter much other than you get more checkups and more chances to see babe! Yay! I was 36 when I had DS2 and was thrilled with how much attention I got from my docs compared to my first pregnancy.
@Snaps816 I got a squinter at 7dpo and definite positive at 8dpo with this one so it’s possible!
only difference with AMA is more screenings and possibly more ultrasounds, provided there is nothing else going on. I know quite a few AMA moms that saw a MFM once and got the all clear to go back to their regular providers for the regularly scheduled program that is pregnancy

I must really be an oddball because I hated all the attention. Every extra scan means more chances for them to find something wrong and leads to more interventions. I much preferred my first pregnancy that only had two scans and none of the extra NSTs and BPs
@cmbt2 I can see that point. I guess with DS1 I was desperate to know more, more, more since it was my first time and I was totally clueless, but after the 20 week scan I never got another ultrasound. I had such a textbook pregnancy the first time that I wasn't too nervous going into my second pregnancy. Maybe that's naive though.
Hi everyone, I just got my faint positive this morning. EDD of 10/22, I have 3 other kiddos, a DS and 2 DDs. As long as everything goes well, this will be our last. We also have 3 pups and two rabbits.
Hello Everyone! Based on my calculations, my EDD is Oct 17th. DH and I live in Texas and have one daughter who is almost 10 months. We also have 2 skittish cats and a few saltwater fish. DH and I both work full time. I'm in legal. He's in accounting. I was on the April Board last year and can't believe I'm already back. I made a lot of really good friends that still keep up on the daily with each other. Hoping to find and be part of the same supportive group here.
I think @zaraanity mentioned having an October bday in the family. I come from a large family (oldest of 7). DH is one of 3 and out of all of them plus their SO's, there are no October bdays. As of last year there were no April or December bdays either and DD was born April 20. If this one sticks, we'll knock out another month, but don't count on us working on a December baby. This will most likely be it for us.
Hi everyone. I have been waffling around whether to join or not at this point. But here goes I guess. *TW* I just on right away with my last two pregnancies that I lost somewhere between 5-6 weeks, so I was really wanting to hold out, but here I am. Due somewhere between Oct 9-16, will find out Wednesday. * END TW* I am mom to a sassy/opinionated 4 y.o. boy. I work part time as a substitute teacher, and work in his preschool about once a week as well. I was previously a LPN before having my son. I went to school and received my A.D. in education, then went to subbing to decide which level I wanted to with my B.S. I also teach 4/5 y.o. once a week for my womans Bible study class.
Hello all my estimated due date is October 8th with number one! I am experiencing all the crazy emotions that go along with this but mostly I’m excited!!!
I took a home home pregnancy test a week ago and have wavering symptoms. I’m a childrens’ dance teacher. I love children and am thrilled to be having one of my own!!!!
Im a FTM, and 35 years old. My EDD is 10/6 and I am so excited for a fall baby! My first u/s is a week from today, 2/15 and I am equally nervous as I am excited. **TW** I was pregnant in Sept but had a miscarriage (blighted ovum) and a D&C in November.
Im excited to introduce myself on here! I know these groups have been really supportive for some of you.
I’ve had the flu all week and let me tell you ladies, google has not been my friend!! Kicking myself for not getting a flu shot and hoping all is well with my baby.
@Snaps816 Welcome, fellow Coloradan! I’ve been wondering what morning sickness and a toddler will look like too. Last night I was out at 8pm! Thankful my DS still goes to bed early. I think that will be my saving grace!
Hi everyone! I'm a FTM and 34. My EDD is 10/23 (according to FF, I don't have an appointment for a bit). I was feeling a little weird yesterday (at 8 DPO) after having pain on Tuesday (6 DPO) and decided to test. It was positive to my shock. And again this morning. Staying cautiously optimistic because it's so early!
I live in Ohio with my partner of a few years. In December we moved out of an awesome downtown neighborhood and into our first house in the suburbs. We've been loving the space, but have been unsure what to do with ourselves on the weekends, haha. Oh, and we have two geriatric dogs. He's still in disbelief of the news and it's not quite real to him just yet. So, workin' on that, haha.
Really excited to have a crew here. I was frequenting the TTC boards but because I wasn't there long enough it's a no-no to post my exciting news. I'm going to miss some of the new pals I made over there and I hope they join us here soon!
@samashley1 welcome! While the TTGP thread for BFP's is limited to only those who have been active for at least three months, you can post in the TTGP weekly thread here if you like:
Thanks for all the kind welcomes! It looks like I'm actually 3w6d, according to the bump.
@junebabyh I came across the twin thing when I was researching early symptoms and was totally freaked out. Twins are definitely NOT part of the plan! Obviously we'd love more babies but we realistically, don't really have room in our home, car, or budget for 3 kids! My husband has some twins in his family but I don't have any in mine. It seems unlikely, but you never know!
@MrsPlatz Hi fellow Coloradan! Where do you live? We're in Denver.
@nnaelilak@mimihatesyou Hi fellow A16-ers! I was hoping there would be a few of us in this group!
Hi everyone! My name is Hannah and I am a first time mama! My husband and I have been married for 6.5 years and together for over 10...We are college sweethearts! We had been trying for a year and a half for a baby so we are thrilled! I was originally in the September group but today we went back to the doctor for my sonogram and got to see the baby and the heartbeat for the first time!! The feeling was surreal! my EDD went from end of September to now Oct 3rd! Soo excited because October is my favorite month! So happy to be here with y’all and wish everyone a very happy and healthy pregnancy!
@Snaps816 We’re in north Parker! I’m thrilled there are other Coloradans this time. In my sons BMB (Aug17) there’s only 1 other person in the Mountain Standarad Time!

@samashley1 please know that the TTGP group is genuinely happy for your success. However, some of us have overstayed our welcome there and have yet to receive the privilege of making such a post. Some of us (myself included) have returned, defeated and heartbroken after making our post. It is very painful, after such a long time TTC, have someone pop in and blast their successes after a mere 4 weeks of joining. Your post said exactly why shouldn't have posted. You were just STARTING to form bonds. Many of us have formed bonds. Many of us have formed actual friendships and communicate outside of the group.
I was personally hurt by your post. I will be honest there. I was having a very bad day with regards to triggers IRL and coming to terms that this month marks 19m TTC and 1 year since my first loss. The request to not post if you haven't been involved for long is spelled out clear as day. In your excitement, you over looked that. Understandable. You were essentially forgiven as you altered your post. So please, don't move here and belittle our pain and treat us if we are being unreasonable in our request for you to have some sensitivity to us.
Hi! My EDD is October 9th, however I am almost certain that I ovulated very early and so I may be a little farther along than that. My husband and I have been married for a little over a year. This is our first pregnancy and we are over the moon. Trying to stay super positive until we go to our first dr apt!
Hi all! I just got a bfp today and my due date should be around 10/24. I was active on the August 16 board, so hi to all my fellow A16’ers! I have changed my sn since then.
I am a teacher and we are from the US but currently living overseas. I have a 2.5 year old DD. I’m excited to meet everyone and share in this journey with you all!
Hi from NY. Coming over from the FET IVF boards. So far so good. Already had three beta draws and one sono. I'm growing on track. Currently 5 weeks 5 days. Due date around 10/7.
@stephanie123456 The TTGP grad check in thread is not a weekly thread. It’s a monthly thread where those who posted in the weekly grad thread can come back to update their friends about their pregnancy journey.
People think we become mothers when we give birth but the truth is we become mothers the moment we start calling our babies to us in our thoughts, dreams and prayers. Some paths are short and some are so long that you can easily forget where you were headed.
