I'm pretty picky when it comes to food. I don't like dressings of any sort and don't line mayo or mustard. Like the thought of any of that is enough to make my stomach turn. So I, of course, order everything plain. When we go through a drive through we HAVE to check it, ESPECIALLY down here in FL, where they NEVER get anything right. DH picked up a fish sandwich for me, but didn't check to see if they did it right. Guess what - the didn't. And now he's pissed that he has to go back. Sorry, but if you would've checked it there, like I always tell you to do, you wouldn't have to do that. He actually wanted me to just scrape the mayo off of it. :::pukes::: Yeah right DH!

Mayo used to repulse me too, but about a year ago I started liking it a lot... weird! I can relate!

bleh I hate mayo as well and every time I order something from take out it usually is wrong and has it on it too. My DH wouldn't go back though, lol you're a lucky lady.

I get everything with extra mayo, hence why I'm a fattie. And my DH would NOT have gone back. Kudos to you!

Aren't you being a little hard on DH? You CAN scrap off the mayo and just deal with it. Ask DH to check next time.

Unfortunately you can't scrape off sauce! It soaks into the bun. Dh always gets pissy with me if they get the order wrong, he tells me to learn how to eat it the way they make it. *sigh* Some people just don't get it!

My Dh wouldn't go back either. I either eat it as is or remove the offensive bun. Your Dh is pretty sweet to go back, even if he did grumble about it!

I dare those of you who say "you can scrape off the mayo" to actually do it and have a sandwich you would eat. Really? You can scrape mayo off of BREAD and out of the little crevices of meat? Off of fried fish? Obviously you people have no clue. If you don't like mayo, you can taste even a little bit of it. My mom used to get burgers from burger king with mayo. I would actually wash the burger and eat the heel of the bun that had no mayo on it, otherwise, it went in the trash.

OP...I hate that crap and they ALWAYS sneak it on there somehow. I only like Ketchup, but I ask for it plain. About half the time it still has mayo or dressing on it. My H knows to check but he would have gone back too.
