@cmbt2 thanks!!! I’m stoked, I’ve never really “felt my age,” and have wanted to be in my thirties for most of my twenties, so this feels very settled and “right” now, however weird that is
Are we the same person? I was born middle aged and was so happy when I turned 30. I finally felt like my age made sense!

This is my 4th pregnancy and will hopefully be my 2nd child. I had two missed miscarriages in 2015. My son just recently turned 2. I was pretty active in January 17 BMB. I *think* my due date is October 11th. FF was confused about my ovulation date this cycle. I was a molecular biologist, but I stay home with my son now and I am loving it. I enjoy sewing, crocheting, baking etc. I started running as a way to lose my pregnancy weight and I ran my first half marathon last October. Didn’t exercuse at all with my son, but I am hoping to keep active this time.

Immunology was my favorite class in college!! I worked on H. pylori in grad school but then switched to P. falciparum in my real job until I quit to stay home.
Hello again, I (think) I introduced myself on the Waiting Room board. I am a FTM, married in April. Definitely AMA 😉 Low AMH, high FSH. EDD is 10/5/19. My first US is Monday. I am still in shock, and nervous about things that could go wrong. I was scheduled for IVF next cycle, and conceived naturally! I have a old Siamese cat Simon, who is going to be so confused when baby comes! I am thinking of going part time once I return to work. I am glad to be a part of this board. It is nice to ‘meet’ all of you!
Hi everyone! I’m a mom to 2 girls that are 10 & 4 and this is my 6th pregnancy! 😬 EDD is 10/10 but since I am high risk I will be delivering earlier if this baby makes it. Excited to meet you all and go thru all this with you!
I'm a third-timer with a due date of Oct 2nd, so I will probably end up with a September delivery and I plan to be active on both boards at least for a while.
I'm a SAHM in Seattle, married for nearly 10yrs. We have a nearly-7yo son and a 2.5yo son -- we don't use their real names online, just the nicknames "Alpha" and "Beta". This baby will be our first daughter (nickname "Gamma"). We know the sex already because we ended up having to do IVF with PGS for Beta to exist (four losses 2014-2015).
I'm looking forward to get to know you all, and glad to see I'm not the only one working on their third kiddo!
@soralette, I think you might be our first October BMBer to know baby's sex! I just got really excited reading your post, and it somehow gave me a "shit just got real feeling" 😂 Congrats on team pink!

Aww, thank you! XD And, yeah, it's weird knowing the sex before you even get your second line on the pee-stick; it kind of raises the stakes for me, I guess, but given the option for certain knowledge, I'll take it! XD (Sex determination is kind of a "free gift with purchase" on the chromosomal screening, LOL.)

@marbellie -- The PGS (Pre-Implantation Genetic Screening) procedure is what finds it out while they're checking for any other problems. Then they can tell us!
The long explanation if you like this kind of thing (I do, but I'm a huge nerd, haha):
Basically, they take the fertilized eggs and let them grow to be 5 days old (at this stage, it's called a "blastocyst" instead an "embryo"), then they use a laser and a needle to take a few cells from the blastocyst. Then they ship those few cells off to a laboratory that can pull out the DNA -- and they can either check for a specific genetic disorder (like, for example, Spinal Muscular Atrophy), which is called "PGD" (Pre-Implantation Genetic Diagnosis) or they can just count how many copies of each chromosome there are. There should be two copies of each chromosome (one from Mom and one from Dad), but some babies have just one of a particular chromosome (most of these babies don't live to be born) or even have three copies of a particular chromosome (many of these don't survive to be born, either, but some do, e.g.: babies with Down's Syndrome, which is having three copies of Chromosome #21). Since they're counting the chromosomes anyway, they also count the last chromosome pair, which is generally either "XX" (typically female) or "XY" (typically male).

Hi Ladies, I am STM with a son born in September 16 and have an estimated due date of October 11 based on LMP this time around. I’m excited but cautiously optimistic until things move further along.
TW - I had a miscarriage in November so am hoping that everything goes smoothly with this pregnancy.
I work full time, go to school part time so my free time is limited and I like to spend it with my son and my husband and cook yummy food.
Hello Everyone! I live on the East coast with my DH, DD
who was an Aug. 16 baby, and my two nut job Coonhounds. We had an at home water
birth with DD and I am so excited to do it again, because I totally have that
thing where “they” say mothers forget what labor is like. I am so excited to
see how my second story plays out. My EDD is Oct. 12.
I am a former teacher, currently staying at home,

Unfortunately the side of me I have had to let go of (for now) is my Irish dancing
one. I stopped dancing when I went for my master's degree years ago. I miss it every day.
I was a religious lurker of the TTGP board and my month

@ceclarlinetlo my indigestion has been so bad I was convinced I needed a h.pylori test!! Had to turn to Dr. Google to realize this too is just increased hormones.
Hi all!
I'm a FTM! EDD based on O date is 10/5. I live in California with my DH and our two dogs. I love to ski and work out. We just moved up to northern California to be kind of closer to family so life has been a big transition lately. I'm an RN at a surgical trauma ICU. I work night shift so by nature I watch too much Netflix while my house is quiet! Currently I'm watching all the marvel comedic universe movies so I know what in the world DH is talking about when the final movie comes out!!! Once I'm done with that series I'm watching parks and rec so I know what you all are always referencing!!! Cough*cough* @galentine
Hi guys! I’m not exactly sure of my EDD but thinking oct 5 or 6! I’ll know at my appointment in a few days. This is will be my third LO. My first is 3 and my second is 1. I have an amazing SO and we are super excited because we decided that this is our last! So glad to meet you all!

@wanderlost, AHHH another familiar face! Congratulations! And I agree with @ceclarlinetlo, push past until at least season 2 before you give up on Parks and Rec because it's starts out meh before eventually getting amazing!
Hi everyone! I am very cautiously introducing myself here. I've been over in TTGP and TTCAL, and have found some wonderful support over there! I am currently on day 37 of my cycle and had been getting BFNs all the way up to 14DPO, so I thought I was out this cycle. I went away on a business trip, and on the last day of the conference, started feeling extremely nauseous. I still hadn't gotten my period yet, and I had brought a few cheap tests with me just in case. I took one last night, and saw the faintest second line. Went out and bought a FRER and confirmed with a slightly less faint line. I have a digital for tomorrow morning because pee on all the things!
I'm 33, MH is 38. We have one son who is about to turn 27 months (former N16 BMB member).
**TW: loss
I had a MMC on Nov 16 at almost 10 weeks. I briefly participated in the June '19 BMB before my loss. I am extremely nervous this time because of how faint my test line is so late in my cycle, but also cautiously excited! I have no idea how far along I am because this cycle was so wacky!
I honestly have no idea when my due date is at this point because of how wacky this cycle was. Based on when FF says I O'd, I'll go with 10/7.
