Upcoming Appointments: Feb 22, so far away! I need to call the midwifery I think I want to go with though. I didn't like the level of care I got the first time around with the OB.
How are you feeling? Starving. Thirsty. Tired. But I might be tired because dd hasn't been sleeping well.
Rants/Raves: Rants: I keep spotting (I know, no big deal), but I also keep having little bits of tissue with it. I know its normal but still freaks me out. Raves: Headed to Epcot with a friend tomorrow to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Friend's dd is the same age as my dd and we're both big into sharing different cultures with our kids considering we live in suburbia.
Questions: Did anyone take vitex/chaste berry to help get pregnant? How are you weaning off? I don't want to freak out my progesterone levels. I may ask this in the larger thread.
GTKY: Last dream you had? I can never seem to remember any other ones except where my parents are in it and they're healthy. I miss them. (Dad died of cancer and mom had a severe stroke.)

How are you feeling? TIRED
Rants/Raves: I’m a married woman with a career in my field, a house, and a 3 year old son. Yet somehow my family can find a way to be unsupportive. When they found out we were trying, it was all negative reactions. I can’t help but wonder what do I have to do to show them I’m an adult. I’m dreading telling them.
Questions: How to reduce weight gain. I gained 60lbs with my son and never lost it putting me in the obese category. I’d like to avoid doing that again this time

Upcoming Appointments: Oops, I guess I jumped the gun on this one... TOMORROW! I'm a wreck.
How are you feeling? Like SHIT, although today I feel human again. I've ben grateful for feeling like crap but I'm so so worried something isn't going to work out like it should.
Rants/Raves: Today is a BUSY day at work, so that helps me keep my mind busy for the countdown to my ultrasound tomorrow.
Questions: Ladies - is your morning sickness coming and going? Like, one a few days, off a day, one a few days, off, etc?
GTKY: Last dream you had? I don't know why I picked this questions. I'm pretty sure I had a dream I started my period last night but in the dream I said "this is a bullshit dream b/c I'm pregnant" and then woke up
Also, I'd suggest changing you handle and introducing yourself in the Introductions thread! That way we can get to know you better. Unfortunately all the "knottie____" kind of get mixed together and it's hard to differentiate yall.

How are you feeling? Mostly ok. Some gagging/nausea but overall really well.

How are you feeling? So exhausted. Like can fall asleep at any time and sleep like 10 hours a night and am still exhausted. And cranky.
Rants/Raves: we don’t want to tell anyone until our first appointment but 4.5 more weeks is going to be so hard.

GTKY: Last dream you had?i don’t really remember many dreams but I do know I’ve dreamt this baby is a boy.
Interesting baby fact: I just read that first born babies are smaller than second borns. I have no idea if this is true or not...but I hope not. That won't be good news for me (10 lb first born)!
Upcoming Appointments: Still waiting for that 1st u/s appointment on Feb 8th. I'll be 7 weeks.
How are you feeling? Nausea has hit - lots of dry heaving at unexpected time!!
Rants/Raves: Today is my 30th birthday......and I can't even have an adult celebratory drink.

GTKY: Last dream you had? I think I already shared this one here...but the last dream I remember was DH cheating in my dream. Woke up so mad at him - I sulked around most of the morning until he loved on me a bit. lol.

Upcoming Appointments: Next ultrasound on February 7th. Telling myself if all is well at that appointment, then I can breathe a sigh of relief and be excited about really really being pregnant.
How are you feeling? Nauseous off and on and sleepy. Kind of a crummy mood today overall.
Rants/Raves: Rant, feeling super sad about being so far away from my parents (8 hours) during this time, and I'm very close with them. Got emotional talking to DH about it, he said I was making him feel bad because "it's his fault we're here" (he took a job here) and basically blamed my feelings on me not taking my antidepressant. Way to be supportive babe. He apologized later for the things he said but I'm still annoyed, and still sad to be so far away from all my family and friends.
Questions: Anyone know of any pregnancy-safe pain meds for carpal tunnel? My wrist is throbbing and I'm wearing a brace but it's barely taking the edge off.
GTKY: Last dream you had? I took a killer nap yesterday and dreamt that I was at work and got accused of bringing in contraband for inmates (I work in corrections) and they arrested me and kept me in a holding cell until I finally woke up lol.
@nomangos23 My morning sickness comes and goes throughout the day, but I've been feeling cruddy pretty much every day.

Upcoming Appointments: February 6th, when I go in and demand medication for morning sickness. Haha.
How are you feeling? Decent. As I've mentioned before, I have a phobia of throwing up which causes me have anxiety attacks which just makes me feel worse. It's still happening, but I've gotten a better handle on it. I am trying to eat something literally every hour and am having a ginger beer made with a ton of real ginger every night (which is when I usually feel the worst).
Rants/Raves: None for now. Just wishing morning sickness would go away and never come back.

GTKY: Last dream you had? The last one I remember was about my husband not wanting to be with me anymore. It was a pretty depressing dream to say the least.

How are you feeling? Horrible. The MS has hit me so hard. I am pretty nervous because I am out of town for work meetings all week and my schedule is packed. Just praying I survive. I probably won't be able to respond much on here, since I don't want my co-workers to see the Bump app pulled up lol.

GTKY: Last dream you had? I've had some crazy ones. Last one I can remember was that I was in a car with some people I don't really know holding my baby. But my baby was like a mini baby. Totally fine and healthy, but super small. I was also annoyed that no one was giving baby attention.

@crs89 Happy birthday! I'll turn 30 in June and I'm definitely a little bummed that I won't be able to go big to celebrate. It's obviously worth though.
My app says Sept. 28 but according the doctor I am due Sept. 25 so either 5 weeks 2 days or 5 weeks 5 days 🤣

Upcoming Appointments: had a general appointment today, just went over what to expect and gave me a prescription for Pregvite prenatal and ms meds should I need them
How are you feeling? MS has hit!! On my way to work the other day I almost had to pull over to throw up 3 times, it was awful. I've felt pretty nauseous all day every day but I picked up some anti nausea bands and they seem to be helping
My back is super sore... thank goodness for my foam roller!! I've also had lots of bloating which makes me look way more pregnant than I am

Upcoming Appointments: 2/12 for dating ultrasound and to confirm all is well, then 2 more weeks till we meet with the dr/nurse.
How are you feeling? Physically fine, actually. Tired, but that's par for the course around here. No sign of MS, which I can't complain about. The emotions of being pregnant have me all out of whack, though. We lost a baby to SIDS at 2mo back in October, and I'm terrified that this pregnancy is going to turn me into a full fledged basket case. I know that a SIDS loss doesn't make us high risk, but I secretly wish it would for the more frequent reassurance.
Rants/Raves: I wish I felt comfortable sharing with our friends and family sooner. Given our history, I don't want to 'tell' till later than normal - likely more in the 20 week range - and still fear peoples reactions with it being so soon after our loss.

GTKY: Last dream you had? I dreamt last night we had a baby girl. At my childhood friends house (who I haven't seen in 10+ years). Just casually, in the middle of conversation - boom, out she came. And we were all just NBD about it. Continued on with our conversation and day. Bizarre.
@kgg2241 Bless your heart. My MS has hit too and I can hardly sit at my computer and type this, let alone participate in all day meetings. Sending you SO MANY good vibes to get you through today.

How are you feeling? I have an insatiable hunger, its crazy. Also, migraines almost every single day. I had them through out most of my 1st pregnancy too. My body does not adjust well to hormone shifts.

How are you feeling? Nervous. Tired. Overwhelmed. Excited. I just got my BFP yesterday, so this is all still kind of sinking in.

GTKY: Last dream you had? I've definitely been having some odd ones lately, heard that's normal though!
@rencontrezmoi I went on Monday for what I thought was an 8 week u/s but I was only at 6 weeks. They did a transvaginal u/s where you could see the baby and the heartbeat and the heart rate. The nurse checked out the ovaries while she was in there and that was it. We got a picture then sat with a nurse who just asked if we had any questions. They are making us go back in 2 weeks for an actual 8 week u/s.

Upcoming Appointments: I haven't even called them yet 🙈 I'm kind of waiting for the next schedule to come out, kind of deciding which time of day, and still kind of in shock.
How are you feeling? Absolutely horrid. My epigastric pain came back last week so not only am I in pain, but nauseous all the time. I'm tempted to call the doctor before making an appointment and ask him to renew a prescription from last time. Also, so exhausted.
Rants/Raves: I slept for 11 hours last night!

I've been told *to* have a full bladder, so I'd definitely check on what your doc wants in that regard. At 6wks, you may or may not see a heartbeat -- don't worry if you don't, it's common to not see one until 7wks!

Upcoming Appointments: My first appointment is 2/26. That feels like such a long wait!
How are you feeling? Sore boobs, exhausted, unmotivated, hormonal, and hungry much more frequently than usual. No nausea yet!!
Rants/Raves: in addition to the usual pregnancy symptoms, I have an AWFUL cold. Sore throat, low grade fever, chills, headache and sinus congestion so bad that my teeth are SCREAMING. Tylenol is not doing much, and I'm feeling guilty for taking it in the first place.
Questions: is a VU as terrible as I'm picturing it? Little nervous about my 1st appointment for that reason.
GTKY: Last dream you had? I dream about work... a LOT!
And don't stress the Tylenol -- it's been studied pretty thoroughly, and it should be fine. (The recent studies they've done have shown that just sitting there with a fever is worse, for example!)
Do you need any pregnancy-safe tips for the sinus congestion, or are you good?

Thank you for the reassurance on tylenol being safe. It has been a MUST. Tons of fluids and hot showers have been helpful with congestion.
