Re: ~*~*~* FFFC 2/1 *~*~*~

  • Yesterday, I stood in my garage in front of the door to my house, pointing my car keyfob at the door and clicking unlock over and over, getting very frustrated when the door continued to stay locked. I was nearly in tears before I realized my car's keyfob doesn't open house doors.

I have tried to unlock my door with my keyfob twice in the last 3 months.

  • @galentine ok here it goes. Since testing positive at 10dpo, I've peed on and saved the following: about 10 cheapies, one blue die test, 3 FRER's. I've also thrown out 3 or cheapies. I'm a little ashamed but I'm going to keep doing it lol
I had 7 saved under my sink until throwing them out this weekend- 6 FRER and 1 FRER digital. That doesn’t count the 2x day cheapies I took for multiple days in a row or the opk I was curious if I would turn 🙈

  • @cdnrunning, YASSS! No flames here. But now I am ashamed of my answer. 😳

I've tested for 9 days straight now: a FRER every morning, cheapies every morning and night (I have a ton, so.... why not?), and 1 digital thrown in for good measure. So after I take my evening cheapie tonight, I'll have POAS a whopping 28 times. 🙈
  • @galentine I just home and peed on another FRER. Someone help me.
  • @cdnrunning I am totally guilty of the same! They were all lined up on my kitchen island on a piece of paper until I hid them all this morning in a drawer before the cleaning lady came.
  • My peeing on all the things contribution to FFFC is 9 cheapies, 2 FRER, 2 digital (the first was negative), two clear blue and one ept for a current count of 16. Most of these tests I inherited from a friend who is done having children. I bought the FRERs and the clear blue. I fully intended to buy clearblue digita with weeks estimator tests to watch those weeks change, but I was sad to find out they don’t make those anymore. I fully plan to keep peeing on cheapies until the test line is darker than the control, or I run out of tests.

Did the OPK turn? I might need to try this. *Ahem* For science. (Obviously).

Yes- test line was without a doubt darker than control. I’ve never tried before so I was surprised it worked. Told myself I’d believe it’s actually happening if I turned an opk 🙈

I tried this too! For science, of course. I was shocked - I'd never seen an opk so positive!
  • Okay, now I’m gonna have to try out this OPK thing.  I’ll let you know the results tomorrow.
  • Boooo. My OPK didn’t turn. But my cheapie hpt was darker than yesterdays so I am not really worried.

Give it a few days! I think we’re both about a week ahead which is a large difference in hcg (plus mine is higher than average anyway so 🤷🏼‍♀️)

I did actually have that thought, and I wondered what dpo you took your OPK. If my beta Thursday afternoon was 62, assuming the same doubling (21 hours) time I was probably around 250 this morning. I think I am somewhere between 11 and 14 dpo today. I hate that my temps were so wonky. FF originally thought I ovulated CD26, but when I put in my positive tests it said it couldn't determine O day because of conflicting signs. I will put my FF chart in a spoiler so you can see how ridiculous it is lol.

  • Well color me positive!  That’s the darkest positive OPK I’ve ever seen.  Crazy!
  • I know this is an old thread but I'm just now catching up! I had to throw away my owe sticks because my husband was getting grossed out. He was like, "Our counter is going to smell like pee!" I am 17 or 18 dpo and still peeing on all the things.
