@chiblackhawkie - hope you get an answer by Wed whether AF will show up or not - the waiting sucks! (Can also relate to the in-laws and drinking comment lol).

@inthewoods23 - how are you doing with the TWW? FX for you!!

@cigaline - how’s the caffeine withdrawal? Any better? I think your RE appointment is coming up soon, right?

@prpl11butterfly - how’s the progesterone going? Hoping better than expected!

AFM: AF just ended so will be using the OPKs soon. Sound like a bit of a broken record here each check-in lol. Bit grumpy with it just being Monday lol. The weather doesn’t help as well where I am; it’s currently -32 C here. I hope everyone else is having better weather where they are!

QOTW: teleportation would be pretty cool. Could avoid rush hour traffic that way lol.

Happy Monday 😂 I was busy this morning picking up tasks from a sick coworker. NBD, my own tasks are lacking so it really just cut into my Bump time. Anyway...

I'm in the boring part of my cycle. Waiting for FW to open but alas, the EWCM has arrived today as expected. I wish this meant I would O on the earlier side but it means nothing for me. O will be between 17 and 19 with today being 13.... So answer your question @sincethelastday, I haven't started it yet. Hoping there's possibility to start it before Monday but it's highly unlikely.

@sincethelastday Jesus where are you?? We're supposed to be around -15 degrees F on Wednesday here in WI. Stay warm!

My TWW feels slow so far since the IUI was on Friday. Sorta freaking out because I did temp this cycle and both of my apps say I O'ed the day before the IUI so I'm hoping we didn't miss our window! Progesterone suppositories start tomorrow.

AF came early. Going to call RE tomorrow and get things set up for the first round of IUI.

@sincethelastday Brr! A little better here (14 degrees), but still chilly. Mondays don't help the mood at all.

@prpl11butterfly I hear you. Some parts of the cycle just seem to drag...

@inthewoods23 Hope timing was on your side. Sometimes I wonder how much the medicine we're put on changes things like temps.

@inthewoods23 - I’m sure I would be in the same space and be worrying about missing my O window, but I’m hopeful that you got the right window; considering how many IUIs I’m sure the clinic does, they hopefully got you in at the right time.

In regards to where my frozen butt is right now, I live in Manitoba, Canada. A regular “winter wonderland” *eye roll*. With the windchill today it’s actually -48 degrees C. Believe me, I often wonder why I live here lol.

@inthewoods23 - no, businesses don’t close (at least in my area of the country). Kids don’t go out for recess if it’s like below -25 C or something like that, but otherwise everyone just keeps plugging along. Kind of kit and parcel for living in Canada

@sincethelastday I suppose temps that cold are normal for you so everybody already has the gear to stay warm. For some, 50 degrees F is cold, for others, it's below freezing. It's all relative. My biggest concern is always having car problems. Is that just a normal part of life for you in the winter? Is it expected that your car will break down at some point in the winter?

@inthewoods23 - yeah, it’s totally all relative. Saying that though, it usually isn’t this cold here; this is just a really nasty, little stretch of cold. Regarding car troubles, I think most people in Canada have block heaters which warm the engine of the car when it’s really cold (below -20 C without windchill) to prevent the car not starting. You just plug in your car to electric outlets in parking spots and the outside of your house and then you shouldn’t have any issue. It’s kinda funny when people not familiar with block heaters think we all have electric cars because we’re plugging our cars in during winter lol. I imagine there must be states which have cold winters that have these too, but maybe not? Hope you’re staying warm as well!

@sincethelastday I can't remember the last time I heard someone mention block heaters. I think I just never understood what those are. I'm surprised that's not more common here.

Normal winters for us though are probably a few degrees below freezing so this season is just on the extremely cold side.

@sincethelastday thanks for the sympathy, we now have a cold virus going on, so looking forward to warmer and healthier weather here too. Our appt is on the 18th, so not too far away. I hear you on the broken record comment, feels the same for me too. I miss the early days of TTC when I had hope.

AFM, nothing much to report. My period was so odd this cycle that I wasn’t sure what day was really CD1, so I didn’t do meds (again). Waiting for O in a few days, but not really hopeful since my LP seems to be about 5 days without letrozole

QOTW: invisibility!! Soooo many possibilities with that one.
