How are you feeling? Better energy overall but definitely struggling to EVER feel comfortable
What have you done to prep for baby this week? Umm not really anything for baby except I booked the newborn photographer. For DD I repainted an old dresser for her new room

I love seeing acquire new skills, be inquisitive, and of course I love snuggles

Rants/Raves? Rave: I'm trying out my pregnancy brace and I feel pretty good in it.
How are you feeling? Exhausted, sore, cranky as hell.
What have you done to prep for baby this week? DH is busting ass on the attic for DS to move into so the boys can be across from us. All I did was actually order my breast pump and I'm starting to make sure all my work will be covered while I'm gone.
GTKY: STMs: what do you love about being a mom? FTMs: what do you look forward to about motherhood? I love feeling his weight as he falls asleep on me. I love seeing him learn about the world around him. I love being his source of comfort. I love his slobbery "wipe kisses" that he give DH and I. I love the sound of his giggles when he laughs so hard he can't catch his breath. I love the words he mispronounces. And so on and so forth.
Due date: RCS on 4/16
Any appointments? Questions? Level 2 ultrasound tomorrow with MFM, 28 week appointment and GD test on Thursday. Fun week. I am excited to see little man tomorrow though.
Rants/Raves? Rave: basement is almost done. Painting the doors, putting the stairs in and trim is all that is left. Rant: I'm annoyed it's still winter. Why does January and February have 345 days in them?
How are you feeling? Overall pretty good. I am exhausted by the end of the day. Hips still bother me at night when I sleep and I haven't found a way to not turn so often (to relieve pressure on said hips). Any ideas?
What have you done to prep for baby this week? Booked the NB photographer. I would like to get the bottles and bottle accessories out and sanitize them. I may also start getting things out of the basement to clean them up and get them ready (ex: car seat and bases, glider, etc). I feel like the next 11 weeks is going to fly by and I should probably get things going.
GTKY: STMs: what do you love about being a mom? FTMs: what do you look forward to about motherhood? I love that she is my favorite person in the world. I love the hugs and the "love you mommy" and everything she says (unless it's mean). I love watching her play and learn and use her imagination. Being a parent is the most exhausting and frustrating thing you will ever do but it's also the most fun, rewarding and life changing experience.

Rants/Raves? Only 6.5 weeks of work left...but who's counting?
How are you feeling? So tired. It was impossible to get comfortable last night. Every time I rolled over I had a BH contraction.
What have you done to prep for baby this week? Assembled LOs dresser/changing table, bought a few decor items for the nursery. We are slowly clearing the room out, but since it used to be the play room there is an avalanche of toys, books, and random crap.
GTKY: STMs: what do you love about being a mom? The hugs, kisses, and snuggles. The shrieks of joy when I get home from work. Getting to learn and discover everything again through their eyes. I love being the safe space.

My insurance issues are solved!!!! Also my boss told me she’s going to hire herself an executive assistant to help out with random stuff and to help cover me on maternity leave, but because I’ve been there longer I’ll be moving over one spot to the bigger desk and new person will get my spot.

So sore. And tired. And so much pressure.
What have you done to prep for baby this week?
I talked to my sister about getting some of the stuff her bff is handing off to me. Lol.

Seeing her grow and learn. The laughs and hugs and kisses and high fives and comet bumps. The way she’s always super excited to see me when I’m home from work. The cuddles. The wonder and excitement on her face at certain things.

Rants/Raves? DH is coming home for a short break from his trip soon!! We are going to have time to pack and move all the big stuff to our new apartment before he heads back out. Grateful for that! But also really ready for him to be home permanently.. only 6.5 more weeks😅
How are you feeling? The uuncomfortable-ness has officially started. But its also SO fun to feel LO moving and kicking all the time.
What have you done to prep for baby this week? Nothing 😅 hopefully a lot will get done next week when DH is here.

It finally happened, a woman at my work came up to me in the break room and rubbed my belly. I laughed it off but oh my goodness I never wanted to cuss someone so badly in my life. Stay out of my personal space if you haven’t been invited! What is wrong with people?!
How are you feeling?
Tired. I have been waking up several times a night the last few nights to pee and I officially miss sleeping through the night.
What have you done to prep for baby this week?
We did our hospital tour on Sunday and I pre registered.

really really hope I pass without passing out. I can’t usually go long without food, and it will be about 14hrs with nothing but the glucose drink in my system.
Rants/Raves? Started an anti-anxiety med and failed the 1hr GD test last week so that’s no fun. Rave, I’m finally getting the nursery cleaned out and everything sorted!!
How are you feeling? Pretty good. physically not much to complain about. Babe is staying out of my ribs for now. Energy levels are starting to stagnate.
What have you done to prep for baby this week? So much cleaning and organizing! Also sorting through more of my old stuff and throwing a bunch away, and I found essays going back to high school. What was I thinking storing all this crap?!

Every experience, every moment watching this baby and learning from him. I’m still so grateful to be here after all the crap of TTC that I forget sometimes that a real baby will be in my arms in a few months!

Rants/Raves? I've been loving the show Sexual Education on Netflix. Super cute/funny. Nothing to rant about 😄
How are you feeling? Pregnant. I've been getting some more stretch marks this week and actually feeling them happen hurts. Also- exhausted from work even though I already decreased my hours to 3 days per week.
What have you done to prep for baby this week? Washed a bunch of baby onesies and learned how to fold those suckers! We really need a dresser for baberoni and some small boxes.

Okay it's cheesy but what I'm looking forward to most is watching my husband be a dad. I'm terrified to be a crazy b with all the hormones and lack of sleep, but watching him love on our baby is gonna be damn sexy. As far as mothering, I'm looking forward to the baby cuddles, the baby smell, and getting to know his little personality. 😍😍
We play a lot of video games in our house and both kiddos had alternate names for Donkey Kong. DD called it Donkey Dong for the longest time and now DS calls it Donkey Honky. Not quite sure which is worse...
We were supposed to have an US yesterday that got moved to today and then yesterday they contacted me and said it won't happen until Saturday which feels like a pain but apparently ultra sound specialist nurses also get sick in the winter... 🤧 I just want to see that the babies are both growing at the same speed, but I saw the midwife on Monday for my second glucose test and their heart sounds were great and my values were also all good.
Rave, I get to have afternoon naps now that I'm on sick leave! Also, we're going on a spa trip this weekend and I'm looking forward to be spending time with DH in the baths being a bit more weightless.
Hurting. Everything is hurting. I'm struggling even with the smallest things like picking up something I drop on the floor or changing position from lying down to sitting in the sofa. It's starting to wear me down, and I wish that I could fast forward a few weeks.
This is a great reminder that there will be something else than pain after this pregnancy ❤️. I look forward to all the cuddles and being the go to person for these little ones and seeing what they turn out to like in life. I'm also looking forward to doing family things with DH, thinking about how cute he's gonna be with two little babies on his chest makes me all teary.

Rants/Raves? Rant is being in the 3rd tri in the dead of winter...taking the dog out for her walks has become such a production with coats, scarves, boots, and an ever growing belly...
How are you feeling? Tired, constipated....otherwise pretty comfortable (physically) and still trying to work out a couple times a week. But I've definitely noticed my mood swings picking up in the 3rd tri....freaked out at DH for not walking the dog this morning and making me do it (granted it's -23 here in the Midwest - i think i deserve to freak out even not-pregnant) and told him I hated him and then cried for saying that I hated him and now I can't focus on work...
What have you done to prep for baby this week? Have my baby shower coming up this weekend so starting to organize all the gifts that have been delivered. Moved around furniture in the nursery and think we have everything in place and can start the decorating, organizing, etc.!

Any appointments? Questions? I had my first appointment with the diabetes nutritionist and 28 week ob appointment on Monday. Growth scan next Monday
Rants/Raves? My Rave is my husband. He’s been so amazing this whole pregnancy, but I was a hot mess last week and he held me together. He’s also taken over all meal planning, grocery shopping, and cooking
How are you feeling? Tired.
What have you done to prep for baby this week? I decided sort of last minute i wanted a doula. Found a doula team that seems great and just signed the contract. Ikea furniture for the nursery was delivered on Sunday, and we’ve gotten the wardrobe mostly assembled. We also started looking at new cars for DH. He drives a 2 seat convertible and it would be nice if he could drive the baby if needed.

@fuzzywombat sounds like a model DH!! My DH is amazing too don't get me wrong, but sometimes i wonder if he ACTUALLY really gets it.....like do they ever really...#men
Any appointments? Questions? Just had the midwife appt yesterday and feeling better about everything. She said if baby 2 ends up being big like DD I probably won't want to go past week 37 anyway (I'm only 5'1" so the thought of a 9 lb baby coming out... ahhhh).
Rants/Raves? Rave is my supportive family, DH, and inlaws. They've all been helping to take care of DD with my extra ultrasounds and appts and been helping accommodate us as we move! Also I want to add that this group has been really supportive while I deal with the possibility of having a premie.
How are you feeling? Better, finally getting some sleep.

GTKY: STMs: what do you love about being a mom? Oh, so much. Although the first year was crazy tough with DD, now I am just so in love with her. She makes me laugh hard with all her antics and imagination and I love her snuggles.

Rants/Raves? Rave- feeling high energy baby is moving like crazy finally feeling like I look pregnant not just fat most of the time had colostrum leak that was crazy but kind of cool and exciting. Rant - had a cold and not breathing through my nose unmediated has been a special kind of hell. Figuring out the baby birth certificate and passport to get to my sisters wedding approximately 2 months after the baby is born has also been a nightmare. Also enjoying laying around and not working out it’s nice to just take a break after years of working out

What have you done to prep for baby this week? DH finished painting and wall papering the baby room it looks super cute I need to buy furniture my mom says wait until after the baby shower but it’s not until 36 weeks and I kind of doubt anyone’s buying us a crib at this point. I want to pull the trigger on crib, dresser, and carseat just haven’t done it yet. Annoying that buy buy baby doesn’t let you discount any of the brands I want. Any tips?

Looking forward to no longer being the vessel weirdly kind of excited to breast feed that seems like a completely new experience. Dancing with and singing to the new baby, my husband will be the cutest! Can’t wait!

Rants/Raves? It's cold and I have a cold
How are you feeling? I got DSs cold. I'm exhausted and such a headache & ear ache.
What have you done to prep for baby this week? Nothing. I'm in the northern midwest so we got slammed with subzero temps. Basically been holed up at home trying to keep the temp up...but I did make some freezer food so I guess that counts?
GTKY: STMs: what do you love about being a mom? Even after the end of a tough day, I get a few quiet minutes with him before bed. We snuggle and rock and sing a song. There's been a handful of times that H has done it and it makes me sad. I know that once baby is here I might not get to do it every night, but I definitely cherish that 5 minutes of the day more than anything.
