Hii! So excited to finally be able to post. My name is Cheyenne and I’m 23 years old. My EDD is 09/11 but I have PCOS so I’m thinking it will change when I go for my first US on 01/31. This is my first ever pregnancy & a HUGE surprise considering I’m in my second year of Pharmacy School & did not plan on having babies until my thirties 😅😅
Hi everyone! My EDD is 9/21-- I got my BFP about a week ago and this was a surprise!
I'm in WA state, 33 years old. My husband and I have been married for almost 4 years, and we have a 12-month-old DS. This is actually the first that I'm posting on theBump... I was a hardcore lurker in my DS's birth month board but never posted. This time around, I'm excited to participate more!
I'm in Michigan with beautiful sons that just turned 2 and 4. I'm still active in their BMB FB groups and have had the pleasure of meeting some of those moms and babes.
I was at the end of another BMB and would get down sometimes when so many people seemed SO far ahead of me. But I'm so excited to see these weekly group threads! That's new to me and very exciting.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you ladies and going through all of this together!
Hey! FTM living in MA (though proudly from VT!) and couldn't be more excited! EDD of 9/16. I'm a first grade teacher and my husband of 6 years (together for 12) teaches at the University. I look forward to getting to know everyone and going through this for the first time!
Hello! I'm joining the discussion with a little hesitation, as I was pregnant in the fall and miscarried and removed all apps and conversations so I wouldn't have the reminder. It was an empty sac that stopped developing at around 6 weeks, and I didn't find out until almost 9 weeks and finally miscarried at 10 weeks. Sucked! Wish more women talked about it... it's very isolating. That being said, I find it to be helpful to be part of a community, especially when you're this early and not always telling people. So, here I am. My name is Mandy, and I'm 35 years old. My husband and I have been together for over 10 years and married for 6.5 years. We have a son, who is 3 (will be four in July). My pregnancy with my son was magic (besides weight gain). Now, I have this pregnancy - constant nausea and vomiting, which makes me hopeful that it's a healthy pregnancy, no matter how miserable I feel. It's like payback for me having such a smooth and easy first pregnancy! Hahaha! Baby is due September 14th or 15th (depending on if the doctor is using menstrual or conception date). We waited until birth for our gender reveal for our first pregnancy, but now we're on the fence about this one. We don't know if we should be preparing our son (once we finally tell him we're pregnant) or let it be a surprise again. I guess we'll see... I live in the Los Angeles area now, but I'm a Texas girl. I'm a teacher, and I usually love what I do. It's been a tough year with all the constant hormone changes! Haha! I think I've been just as hormonal as my students! My family loves to spend time at the beach, Disneyland, and we love to travel.
Hey ladies, my name is Jess & my EDD is 9/21! My husband and I have been married for 7 years and this will be baby #3 for us! Our DD will be 5 in March, DS just turned 3 in December...and I’ll be 30 next month. I’m a Massage Therapist but I’m currently staying home and homeschooling my kiddos - I love it. I really enjoyed my DS Bump group 3 years ago and I’m looking forward to chatting more! Ps. I’m horrible at understanding all these new abbreviations, so you won’t be seeing much of those from me!
Hi Everyone! FTM here, Phoenix based, totally unexpected and not planned for! Three dogs and 15 chickens, house in mid renovation and in a semi-brand new city is completely overwhelming, but I'm hoping that I'll handle it like a champ! I enjoy hanging out with the hubby, playing video games, listening to records and planning out my garden. I am hoping to go organic/homestead my home in the next few months! The SO and I are planning on birthing at a birthing center, just met with a midwife today and got an ultrasound. I hope to meet some ladies here that might have some really good advice and whatnot. I don't have a whole lot of information to share yet, but I really hope that this goes well!
Hello, 33 y/o FTM here. I live in the Seattle area with my DH of almost 10 years. Finally decided we were ready to grow our family. Had a BFP the day of my missed period. EDD is September 17th. I’m of course very nervous, and have to keep working on optimism, relaxing, and trying to be ok with having no control over things. I’m a singer, a seamstress, and all around creative type. We have two cats, who we love most dearly.Nice to meet you all!
Hi everyone! I am 36 years old, happily married for 11 years and counting, a proud momma to three wonderful kids ages 9, 8, 5. I found a lump in my breast back in December. Mammogram, biopsy, and surgery consult later, we found that we are also pregnant. This baby is #4, EDD is September 14. A beautiful surprise and miracle. ❤️
Hey everyone! STM, edd is 9/30. H and I live in Orlando, and I work part time in hospitality sales. Love going to the theme parks with my 2.5 year old daughter, and eating Dole Whip. I was pretty active in my last BMB and looking forward to chatting with you all!
Hello all, FTM here (terrified), had a miscarriage in Oct and a few chemicals, so my OB has me as high risk. Apparently I'm going to be seeing a lot of the office staff. EDD end of Sept. Currently live in rural Southern VA with hubs, 2 dogs and a cat and tons of fishies. I'm early 30s and work in social media.
After taking a break from TTC at the end of November to concentrate on some other things, we had a surprise BFP with an EDD of 9/24. I was actively part of the May 2017 group for baby 1.0, and I'm hoping for a similar experience with 2.0.
@cheshyre319hi there! if you haven't already checked into PGAL, we have a really supportive community over there & plenty of ppl you can commiserate with about yr anxieties! so sorry for yr prev. losses--i hope this guy's yr rainbow! make sure you TW losses elsewhere on the board though--safe to write about them w/out warnings on the PGAL thread tho.
I completely understand how you feel. All three of my pregnancies we’re high risk, including current pregnancy. What kept me from becoming a complete stress ball during my pregnancies was having an amazing OB. My OB sincerely cares, communicates well, and listens to any concerns we may have. My 3rd pregnancy, I was 25 weeks along and my cervix began to open. A solution to this was progesterone inserts. However, my health insurance would not accept the rx. She was outraged, I was in tears and she told me everything will be alright, go home and I’ll hear from her soon. She called the insurance directly. It was still a no go. She went out of her way to ask a pharmaceutical colleague who would sell it directly to me and it was so affordable too. This one act of kindness literally saved my baby’s life. But yes, a compassionate OB can really take the “high risk”out of high risk pregnancy. Congratulations on your pregnancy!! Live in the moment and best of luck! ❤️
Hi all, I'm a 29 year old mother of 2 DD's, both rainbow babies. The girls are 3.5 and 5 years old. My SO and I have known each other since March of 2018. We have been living together since June of 2018. He is 48 with a 15 year old son. Our little blended family is expecting our baby on 9/26/19. We also have two dogs and a beta fish.
Hi! I'm Laura and in my mid 30s. My edd is sept.10. I'm a first time preggo woman. My husbandand I have been together for 6 years and recently got married on Dec. 9 2018. We got pregnant soon after marriage. We are both super excited, overwhelmed, and scared at the same time!
Another east-coaster here. EDD of 9/28 with our very unexpected rainbow. I have 4 older daughters - ages 5 (with ex-husband), 5 (step-daughter), almost 2, and most recently, we lost our perfect 2 month old to SIDS in October. We found out last week we are expecting, apparently on my very first cycle following our loss. We also have 2 very sweet and snuggly kittens. Very scared and conflicted entering this journey again so soon, but hoping the rainbow after the storm will offer some light on such a dark time in our lives.
Hi! I don't think I ever officially introduced myself here...I couldn't remember my username and password from my last kiddo, so I was in Bumpie jail for several days with a new account. Oh well!
I live in North Dakota with hubs and two daughters (7 and 4). This pregnancy was very unexpected (we weren't trying at all, and actually thought our family was complete.) Ooops. I had four early losses between our two older girls, and so I am very cautious entering this pregnancy, hoping that things are ok in there.
I work full time in healthcare management, and I was very active in both my March 2011 and December 2014 BMBs. We've all migrated to facebook now, and I actually got to meet a friend from March '11 at Disney World this past December. So exciting!
Hi all my name is Catherine Anne. I’m 22 in the DFW area and EDD is 9/11! We’re both very surprised (just got married 2 months ago) but so excited for the new chapter and community in our lives!
I am already a mommy to 3 year old daughter, dog, and cat. My husband and I are very excited about being pregnant. This is a rainbow baby for us. My EDD is Sept. 27, 2019. If all goes well with this pregnancy, this would be our last baby! I am a full time working mom, Finance Manager, and I am also in school for my MBA. I have a busy plate, but I love it! My first appointment is February 4th. My symptoms right now are sore boobs and nausea. I look forward to going on this ride with you all!
Hi! STM here with a 19m boy. EDD of 9/27 but will likely go early again. Last pregnancy was rough so I am hoping it’s easier this go around! I live in Florida and we like to spend time outdoors. Oh and we have two cats.
Hi all! Waited for my first appt before jumping in, so thought it was time to introduce myself. I'm a STM, originally from FL, but living in upstate South Carolina now. My husband and I have been married almost 3 years and have an active 2 year old boy. He is our rainbow baby, as I've had a prior loss. I'm currently 8+1, and due 9/9. Hoping I can stay active on here, and wishing everyone a happy, healthy 9 months!
Hi everyone, and congratulations! I'm super nervous/excited/overwhelmed to be here, pregnant with our surprise! We stopped TTC around Thanksgiving, deciding the timing wasn't quite right. Well, ready or not, EDD is 9/29 I'm 31 years old, live in the Philly area, and I'm a TTM. My husband and I have two daughters, ages 5 and 2, as well as 4 furbabies (3 cats and 1 dog). I'm having a lot of cramping this pregnancy so far, but trying to stay cautiously optimistic. I'll be high risk again this time due to irritable uterus and incompetent cervix, so my first U/S is on 2/6. Hopefully I'll have a little more peace of mind after that. FX for a sticky baby!
BFP 08/11/2012, DD#1 born 04/18/2013 BFP 01/01/2015, EDD 09/07/2015, CP BFP 10/09/2015, EDD 06/01/2016, MC @ 7 weeks BFP 03/12/2016, DD#2 born 11/15/2016 BFP 01/28/2019, EDD 09/29/2019
Hello everyone! First time Bump user and momma. EDD is September 7th. SO and I have a cat and a 3 year old GSD (Both originally mine). We’re all extremely passionate about the outdoors! Hiking is my meditation. I am currently on a WFPB diet, worked in the medical field for a while and now currently in Sales, SO is active AF pilot. A friend of mine loved and is close with a lot of the ladies she met on here. I’m excited to meet and get to know all of you beautiful moms! -K
Hello, everyone! I loved my 2012 group and 2016 was a bit of a miss, so here's hoping third time will be a charm again.
I'm technically due Oct 2nd, but given that this will hopefully be my third (and final?) time giving birth, I fully expect to actually go into labour towards the end of September, so here I am.
Very brief bio: I'm a SAHM in the Seattle area. We've had four losses and ended up needing IVF with PGS, so even though I'll only be 5wks tomorrow, I know we've got a girl (or two girls; we transferred two, at least!) coming. I don't use my kids' real names online for their privacy (the internet is forever!); instead, I use the nicknames "Alpha" (eldest son; about to turn 7yo), "Beta" (second son; 2.5yo), and "Gamma" (daughter I'm pregnant with).
Looking forward to getting to know you all!

Hello! FTM EDD 9/11. Cautiously joining since I don't have my first appointment until Feb 12. Been married just over 2 years and we have 2 rescue dogs. I'm in the DFW area. I am a runner and so far the exhaustion/morning sickness is getting in the way of running (I should probably get used to it). BFP was a bit of a surprise and I still don't fee like it is real.
Hi! This is my 3rd pregnancy. My ds is 4 1/2. I miscarried my 2nd pregnancy. My edd is 09/24. We were completely surprised by this pregnancy. I’m 41 and had preeclampsia with my first that hospitalized me for over 7 weeks and ds was born 6 weeks early. So we are praying for a healthy pregnancy this time.
@mokiki I’ve been wondering if I would find anyone else in this group that went through preeclampsia. I’ve found it hard to relate as easily to women who had complication free pregnancies as it is hard to understand unless you have been there. I was never hospitalized as my case developed very rapidly and I had to be induced less than a week after diagnosis. I can’t imagine how hard it must have been to be hospitalized for 7 weeks!!!
I’ve thought about starting a high risk thread for others that have had complicated pregnancies. Do any of the group organizers have an opinion on this kind of thread?
Hi all! I'm late, but wanted to introduce myself and join in. I am due September 23rd. This will be my 4th pregnancy and 3rd baby. My first pregnancy was a loss so early pregnancy is an anxious time for me. I am a SAHM to a spunky 3yo DD and a smiley 1.5yo DS. Looking forward to getting to know all of you!
Hi guys! First timer over here, my EDD is September 6th. I'm 30, husband and I enjoy hiking, biking, and brewing beer! We have one dog so this will be our first "human baby" ! I'm 8w5d at the moment. Didn't really "feel like" I was pregnant until week 7 when the non-stop nausea began. Don't know about you guys but September feels sooooo far from now!
Hi everyone! My husband and I have been married almost two years. We each have our own children. He has a 6 year old son and I have a 4 year old daughter. We have been TTC since summer 2017 and unfortunately have had 3 miscarriages since then. We just got our BFP on the 19th of January, so we are crossing our fingers for our Rainbow baby! Our dog just had 7 beautiful puppies on the 23rd, so we have a lot of love going on right now. I'm new to boards, but would like to learn more and benefit from them!
Hi! My names Payton, I’m 18 y/o and about 5 weeks pregnant. I don’t really understand the pregnancy lingo and slang yet, but I’m getting there. This is my first pregnancy and I’ve been with my partner for about 5 or 6 months. I’m currently looking for a place to live, since I’m being kicked out of my home right now for being pregnant, but other than that excited to bring a baby into this world! AND he/she is due on my birthday! 09/29/19, a happy libra
