Grandparents not involved much

Hi all! Does anyone else have a cry fest when they think about how they expected their mom to be over the moon happy with her first grand baby and then, when baby gets here, it’s crickets. My mom didn’t see my son (her first grandchild) for two months straight and now again for another month. He is only five months old. What the heck is up with grandparents who aren’t obsessed with my son just like I am!!! I don’t get it. It makes me so sad and upset.

    No one is going to be as obsessed with your baby as you are

    Have an adult conversation and just explain that you hope she’ll come around more, and check in with her to see if she’s handling all of this change okay.
