Hello, Mamas! While we wait for our official BMB let's gather around, drink some decaf coffee, and discuss how long we're going to be able to wear our skinny jeans before we turn into planets. I'll go first!
I'm a FTM and found out five days ago on 10DPO. I'm due October 1 and my husband and I are both excited and nervous in equal measure.
Can't wait to meet you all.

Hi! I go here, too. I was here many moons ago on TTGP and my first BMB under a similar name..
Anyway, I’m a TTM, hold on to my 200 mg of daily caffeine as if my life depends on it, and refuse to wear maternity pants as long as possible.
My due date is within the first 5 days of October, but we won’t know for sure until I have a dating scan in a few weeks. I’ll most likely deliver in late September since my MFM won’t let me go past due.
And now, if only I could figure out how to update my photo and sig on mobile, I’ll be golden. The site has change since I was here 4 years ago. I’ll get it eventually 😂
Hello! FTM here as well, currently sipping the decaf as we speak. we found out at 10DPO as well! Estimating due date around the first few days of oct, but we’ll find out for sure in a few weeks. Looking forward to being a part of our little October’s group 💖
@cmbt2 Welcome back to The Bump and congrats! It's nice to have someone here who knows about pregnancy because every minute I'm like, "What is going on?! Is this normal? I'm going to Google it until I am sufficiently freaked out by my findings." Also, I love your avatar!
@a_hangli47 Welcome! It looks like we are on the same timeline.

Gosh darn it, @elle-0409!! YOU’RE ONLY ONE DAY FROM SEPTEMBER. Can’t you just say you’re due September 31st?!?!? Then we can be bestest BMB friends forever!!
@lillywonderland LOL!! I have thought about joining September, but I don’t want to be pushy. I feel like everyone is already friends and I’d be that annoying girl who shows up uninvited. 😂

@elle-0409 Trust me, you would definitely NOT be the annoying girl and it’s a bit slow in there right now. Also people trickle in for weeks to come because some don’t feel comfortable to intro/post until they have a u/s, first appt, their period still hasn’t shown up, etc.
ANDPLUSALSO we (the collective TTGP grads) love you so much! Is your DD Oct 1 based on LMP or O? Because most doctors go based LMP and/or the first dating u/s and/or whatever I decide that puts you in Sept!! 😜
@lillywonderland Oh my gosh I love you so hard, LOL! Oct. 1 is based on LMP, but who knows what a real doctor will say. Maaayyyybbbeeeee I'll creep over?

Just as an FYI, they keep your due date based on LMP unless you measure more than a week different or have been seeing an RE (or if you’re like me and a SS)

@a_hangli47 Welcome! It looks like we are on the same timeline.
Thanks! I was like that my first (and second) time, too. It’s very common to google anything and everything! Just don’t google too much! It all leads to bad results 🙈 pregnancy is weird and normal is a relative term, man. That’s all I’ve got
the avatar is similar to the one I used to have, but I can’t seem to find my original. Sigh. That’s what happens when you delete your account years ago 🤣 I have a SM lanyard I wear my work badge on and a lot of people comment on it once they realize what it is
@elle-0409 thanks for getting this going! I hope we see a lot more TTGP grads!
@cmbt2 I'm also holding onto my caffeine, but I'm going to guess I'm surpassing the daily recommended amount lol
STM here and also found out at 10 dpo. Due date based off O is 10/5 but I'm quite certain I'll have a RCS in September.
The guideline is 200-300mg a day 🤷🏼♀️ My two cups of coffee (which will likely become black tea once the aversion kicks in) fall in there somewhere. I just don’t go for anything with additional caffeine as a precaution
random side note- if you drink the crystal lite teas, unless it specifically says decaf, they’re caffeinated. They changed their formulas a few years ago to include real tea
My MWs have no idea what to do with me. I only have a week long window of what the EDD is. With a blaring positive at 8dpo according to my chart, betas in higher than expected range for the dpo they were drawn at, and only being 2 weeks from a negative beta draw following a CP (3 weeks from when it started) when I got a positive, they’re at a complete loss outside of Sept 30-Oct 5 🤦🏼♀️
Hi! I'm Galentine. I'm a FTM and got a positive last night at 9dpo. I have since peed on basically anything and everything in my bathroom cabinet because I cannot believe my eyes.
TW in spoiler
I had a CP in November, so I am very nervous, and I won't feel out of the woods for quite some time. But I also feel very very hopeful ❤
I also came from the TTGP board, and feel so very lucky to have gotten to know some great people there. I have my fingers crossed so hard for more TTGP grads in October!
@cmbt2 I think because I'm a FTM I'm scared to do anything. I'm sure I'll be more lax about caffeine after the first trimester. I'm sorry to hear about your loss, and that your MWs are baffled. Hopefully, they figure it out and everything is perfect even if they're not sure of the EDD.

Trust me, your feelings are totally normal! I know plenty of women who aren’t comfortable with caffeine in first tri (or at all in pregnancy) and plenty of OBs who say none at all.
I’ll warn you, I’m pretty much an open book and can talk your ear off about a lot of things baby and pregnancy related 😂🙈 I also love using emojis lol
While I am thrilled to see you here @galentine, you have probably foiled my plan to steal @elle-0409 to September (afterall, her due date is basically 9/31 🤣).
No, but seriously...OMG LADY, I’M SO FLIPPIN’ HAPPY FOR YOU!!!
@galentine OMFG, not gonna lie, I checked TWW early this morning and didn't see your early bird post and got suuuper suspicious... but PEEKABOO, I FOUND YOU!! Girllll I am so freaking excited for you. Congratulations!! TTGP might miss me because honestly if I don't graduate with y'all I'm probably just gonna spend all my free time lurking SMEPtember and October (what are you calling October again?).
I might be taking this totally out of context but I'm gonna leave it here anyway.

@kiki047, LOL. You may have taken that gif out of context, but you unknowingly chose quite literally the perfect one. That gif is Lelise saying that her made-up holiday "Galentines Day," February 13, the day for the ladies to celebrate their friendship with one another, is the best day of the year. And seeing as I value my friendship with all you wonderful ladies, and Galentines Day is where I got my SN.... well, it's just absolutely perfect. ❤❤
@elle-0409 I was too excited to read any of the previous posts in my sheer excitement, but so glad to know we're still on the same wavelength! The TTGP sisterhood is strong!
@galentine congrats!! So excited for you and I'm so happy you will be keeping the BMB alive for October!! I think I finally have to watch P&R to keep up with you! Also, probably need to learn how to gif and where to find gifs
@cdnrunning congrats!! So happy to see you here!!! Excited for this journey together and having some familiar faces (or names rather)!!
I got my BFP with a crazy faint line on the night of 8dpo. Then the FMU of 9dpo I got a BFP on a FRER. I was so amazed and could hardly believe it that I have been testing almost non-stop all week!
@wanderlost, congrats! And wow, a positive on 8dpo?! That's amazing. I have also been peeing on things nonstop. I have about 50 or 60 cheapies that I am hoping I won't need again for quite some time, so I am basically using one every time I go to the bathroom just to use them up. Annnnnd I may have just bought more FRERs at the store just now. Can't stop won't stop peeing on things.
