@cdnrunning no problem! I'm an early riser but somebody usually still beats me to it! Sorry about the bloating. That's majorly happening here too.
Month/Cycle: 7/8
CD/DPO: 20/7dpo
Timing: EOD+
Typical LP length: 9-12
Testing: maybe this weekend before @elle-0409 drinks a lot in Vegas? (:
R/R: Sorry for being such a Negative Nancy yesterday. I have decided that we're going to keep at it anyway, so I might as well be positive about this. Just easier said than done!! Plus, I was annoyed about other things yesterday because I'm not getting a direct answer on if I'm traveling at the end of this month yet. I really don't want to, because it's going to be during my next FW!! Plus, I just generally need to plan my life.
Testing: BFN today. Going to try to WFAF now but if I can hold out til 12dpo I will be proud
R/R: got some good news on the home renovation front yesterday. it has been a while since good news has come in and another phase will get started!
CS/Q: missed temping this am *facepalm*

@cdnrunning I'm having chart envy. I'm glad the progesterone is doing its job, and I hope this is your cycle!
@jennifer_louise We all have our days. No need to apologize! This sh*t is stressful!
@sevenn Sorry about your BFN, but hopefully it's just still early! I missed a couple of temps this week too, which doesn't help any.
Month/Cycle: 6/3
CD/DPO: CD21/??? DPO
Timing: So much HIO. EOD with 2 in a row around + OPK days
Typical LP length: 14
Testing: I was going to start this weekend, but with this second strong positive OPK surge on CD19 & 20, I might hold off until the following weekend. I'm still waiting on that temp spike.
R/R: Just getting annoyed at this cycle, but I know it's not unheard of for it to be weird given my circumstances. I'd just really like to know when I O'd. I've never had cycles longer than 32 or so days, so being on CD20 with no temp rise and less than 14 days left in my usual cycle has me scratching my head. I'm traveling for work starting on the 27th, and I'd really like to know for sure before then.
CS/Q: Not really. Still inconclusive.

@cdnrunning congrats on the temp rise!I worked late yesterday and didn't have time to respond but your dog crew sounds amazingly cute @jennifer_louise it happens sometimes, some days are better than others but sounds like you've quickly found a sunny spot @sevenn sorry about the BFN, FX still though
Month/Cycle: 4/5 CD/DPO: 15/2ish Timing: not sure but hopefully good (BD'ed every 2 to 3 days) Typical LP length: 13 Testing: Feb 1 (can someone home be accountable? Like a virtual slap across the face would do... Better than the Stark whiteness and denials) R/R: my husband and I have been cleaning like monsters for days in anticipation of his friends flying up for a ski weekend. The first few arrive today, it'll be so fun! CS/Q: nope
@cdnrunning, sorry for the bloat but yay for the temp rise! Fingers crossed progesterone does the trick for you this cycle!!
@jennifer_louise, glad you are feeling better after your rough day earlier this week. I have all my fingers and toes crossed for you and @elle-0409 at your pee party this weekend!
@sevenn, hold off til 12dpo! You can do it! I believe in you!!!
@shamrocandroll, sorry for the confusing cycle. Hope you get clarity and a temp rise soon!
Month/Cycle: 4/4
CD/DPO: 18/1
Timing: mehhhhh -4, -1, 0
Typical LP length: 14ish
Testing: LALALALALA I'm plugging my ears and refusing to hear the word "testing" for many many more days
R/R: rant - I'm annoyed with our timing. We were doing so well with EOD, and then a stomach bug hit our house on what turned out to be -2, so I'm bummed we skipped that day. I know it's irrational, but I can't help but notice last month I had the same timing PLUS -2 and got a bfn. So. Irrationally annoyed, party of 1. Rave - other than my wordy rant, I am feeling super chipper today! I'm so excited to be in the TWW, and a couple days early for me even! Woot!
CS/Q: nah, just feeling like Ron Swanson in my "I just got lucky" red shirt, happily rolling on into the TWW! Woohoooo!
@galentine Woohoo! You're here! Ugh to being sick. I had to wake up my poor, sick, sleeping H the other night when I got a big ol' + OPK, and the poor guy managed to make it happen somehow. He's not one to be dramatic about being sick, but he was wiped out the last few days.

@shamrocandroll ugh, confusing cycles!! I think your timing is great no matter what, so you should have a good shot at it! Just sad you'll miss our pee party.
@marbellie a ski weekend sounds super fun! Downhill skiing? I've only done it once, there was blood. I wish I was better at it!
@galentine as long as you weren't this Ron Swanson:
@jennifer_louise I'm torn about whether to pee or not to pee. I'm still not sure I didn't O on CD14, and my CM was way more prominent for the first + OPK. But I also don't want to just set myself up for disappointment...

Good morning all! I introduced myself a few weeks ago (after lurking for months), but I have yet to participate in a weekly thread (although I do read them all daily)!
Month/Cycle: 6
CD/DPO: 10 DPO
Timing: Good
Typical LP length: 16-18 days
Testing: Planning on waiting till Sunday to test.
R/R: No real rant this week. I'm going to see DWTS Live on Friday with my cousin and I cannot wait!
CS/Q:Fertility Friend still hasn't given me my solid crosshairs? I use my AVA bracelet for my temps - so maybe its because they are lower then BBT? Any ideas?
@jennifer_louise oh hi! I responded to your msg in the CS/Q thread too but I go here now so watch out cuz I'm comin' in with some hugs. Sorry you're having a rough go of things. You've always been such a ray of sunshine 'round these parts so it's totally understandable if you have some cloudy days. no need to apologize for it, that's what we're here for! God knows we've all been there (especially me!). @cdnrunning sorry about the bloating, it's such a gross feeling. Even though your chart will feel somewhat superficial because of the progesterone, hopefully it'll be less stressful than having a crummy chart? As much as a BFN at the end of a really good looking cycle is crushing, I need that hope to carry me through the TWW otherwise I'd just be a miserable slug. @sevenn sorry for the BFN today that's exciting about the reno news tho! @shamrocandroll ahh that's frustrating, sorry this cycle is throwing you a curveball (I can hear MF laughing at me in my head for trying to use a sports reference). I hope you get some answers soon so you can rest easier while you're traveling without the added stress of missing potential FW days. @marbellie I'm better at telling other people not to test than convincing myself not to POAS. Hope you have a fun ski weekend, are the conditions good where you are? We're supposed to get a bunch of snow this weekend so I'm sure the resorts around here are happy. @galentine woot woot, make that a chipper party for 2 over here! High five! I O'd too, same day as last cycle (CD20) but still 10+ days early for me, and without meds, so YAY! I really just wanted to follow you over to the TWW. @feather_heather hi there! Welcome! I would guess FF hasn't given you solid CH because of the wet CM marked on CD24. If you take that out does it change anything?
Month/Cycle: 13/10
CD/DPO: 20/0 (I think I O'd overnight so assuming FF will make today O day?)
Timing: Good I hope. We stuck to EOD because of his low count so -5, -3, -1 and hopefully adding another tonight for good measure.
Typical LP length: 13 days
Testing: Next weekend
R/R: No rants today, I'm feeling pretty proud of my ovaries (well, the right one) for ovulating all by herself, no meds or anything. And in a timely manner too! I had kinda written this cycle off because we're doing it without the letrozole but if this keeps up maybe I won't even need it. AND, dunno if any of you have been around long enough to know about my dog drama but the dog likes to... "participate" ... when we HIO so it makes it challenging to say the least. BUT, I had the idea to train him to have to lie on his blanket when he gets a chew toy so he won't always be on the bed, then I bought something that would take him longer than 3 mins to eat, and IT WORKED Y'ALL! He still insists on getting up on the bed to sleep with us but he was on the floor for a good hour last night, long enough for us to get the job done and for me to fall asleep. YAHOO! You have no idea how much of a win this is for me, lol. Complete details in spoiler.
Yes, we've tried locking him out of the room (he eats through the door, we wrecked many doors doing this), we've tried treats (but if the treat is too big or too hard he won't eat it, he wants to hide it, and if it's too small he'll just chew through it in a minute or two), we've tried being ultra quiet (it's the heavy breathing and kissing sounds that seem to turn him on god he's so weird), but realistically in order to train him we would need to stop what we were doing every. single. time. and correct the behaviour and, well, other than yelling at him and throwing pillows at him (which he just humps more), most of the time it's just a race to the finish line or else he wiggles his way between us and then the moment passes and we're just done for the night. It makes me suuuuuuuper grumpy when he ruins it for us because then I blame the dog for why we're not KU, which is totally irrational but it's just such obnoxious behaviour and apparently he's always done it but since he was MF's dog with his ex wife, and they were hardly ever intimate with each other, it was never a big deal. Well now it's a big effing deal and I hate it. What exactly does he do, you ask? Well, first of all he's super possessive and jealous so I can't even hug and/or kiss MF without him jumping up on us and whining/crying/barking for attention. God forbid I sit on the couch too close and he needs to be in between us and has to slobber all over us (mostly me). If we're just sitting on opposite ends of the couch he doesn't care but if I get too close he gets FOMO and wants in. Some people might like that, I do not. Kissing and/or heavy breathing and/or any kind of humping motion makes him want to either lick me somewhere/anywhere (gross!) and/or get on top of me and/or hump just about anything he can find. MF is almost completely silent during sex so it's pretty distracting to have Humpy McHumpster breathing down my neck beside me. Gahhh, I love dogs but I have to draw the line somewhere.
<end rant> thanks for reading my horny dog saga, lol, it's not something I can really talk about IRL because people either think it's funny "oh you horny lovebirds, poor you, just try [this or this]", or they think it's cute "aww Bonzai, such a silly boy, he just loves you so much" or I'd have to admit just how much we HIO that it's not just a once-a-week kinda problem.
CS/Q: No CH yet but hopefully will get my temp rise tomorrow and FF will mark today as O day (even tho it was probably last night). I'm kinda crampy today though, normally I'd think I was about to O but the u/s showed the follicle already burst. Does anyone else get crampy as early as 1DPO?

Hi everyone! I’m new here as well Been lurking for a couple weeks. Was hesitant to start posting but figured why not.
@kiki047 omg your dog! I’m glad you found something that worked! Also I’m cramping (AF like) today at what I believe is 2dpo, may just be constipated though. And last month I had ovulation like cramps for a week after supposed ovulation, temps couldn’t confirm it though.
@galentine sorry about the frustrating timing! I’m right here with you this month
@marbellie ask your husband to hide your tests and not give you one til February 1st ask now while your willpower is strong!
Month/cycle: 2
CD/DPO: 16/2?
Timing: -1, 0 (see rant)
Typical LP length: 14 days
Testing: not yet
R/R: I was away for the weekend without DH, got back Sunday evening and took an OPK just to see if a line was starting yet (ovulation was due this coming Friday/Saturday based on my last two cycles being exactly one day apart) and it was peaked!! Still high Monday morning first thing. Had ovulation pain Monday afternoon til bed. So we only had Sunday night and Monday night which seem to be -1 and 0. And let’s just say DH helped himself Saturday and Sunday morning with me being away so I was mad at him for “wasting”
CS/Q: My charts are always terrible my temps are always all over the place
@kiki047 Oh my god, that sounds horrible. I have to admit I was laughing before I read the more detailed account of the issue, which by the end of, I was cringing. I love dogs too, but that doesn't mean you have to be okay with this behavior, because it's definitely not okay! I don't see how anyone would think that was cute or endearing. Affection is important, and being cock blocked by your dog who is always around sucks. I'm glad you guys found something that seems to work!

@kopp5988 come onnn in! Don't be shy. // So now you know that if my rant is just "Ugh, the dog..." it probably means he c*ckblocked us again. // sorry YH "took matters into his own hands", so to speak... I always wondered how often MF does it. I've tried asking him out of genuine curiosity, but I think he feels like he's being interrogated and he won't give me a straight answer. I don't actually care, I just wonder how often guys really do it because in the movies it makes it seem like it's all.the.time but when we're TTC there's just so much sex, like does he still need to when we can barely muster up the energy to HIO instead?

@kopp5988@kiki047 I don't have any particular problem with DH doing that if he needs to, but I did let him know it was a no-no during my FW because we need all of his sperm count to... well, count. And we have a mutual understanding that if one of us feels the need, we should check with the other to see if the mood is mutual before taking matters into our own hands. He says he doesn't do it during my FW and I believe him for the most part because he's a terrible liar. But I guess I have no way of knowing for sure.

@kiki047 removing that worked! Thanks! I've just been relying on my AVA bracelet's charts the past few months, but decided to also use FF as well this month!
Re the dog: We have two dogs, an 8lb maltese and a 22lb cockapoo. The maltese has a dominance and a humping problem and he ALWAYS humps the cockapoo when we BD. I'm glad you finally found a toy to distract yours long enough! Maybe I will have to try that!
*lurking* @kiki047 I love the horny dog saga! I remember you talking about this before and I was loling. I'm glad you've figured out a way to keep him occupied!
ETA there have been times where DH and I start getting into it on the couch downstairs and our dog is like “oh! Cuddle time?!!!” And tries to get involved. But so far our funniest BD adventure was when one of the cats (who’s obsessed with me...so follows me everywhere) jumped onto our bed while we were in the act and literally got on top of DH’s back. All the way up in the air ha! We paused and were just like “well that’s.....different”
@shamrocandroll that's a really mature, reasonable approach to take. I think we need to adopt that too. My sex drive is naturally way higher than MF so I get a little insulted when he sheepishly admits that he woke up 'in the mood' and didn't even give me a chance to do something about it. This usually comes out when I'm trying to initiate something and he's <insert excuse here> then his retort is usually "well I was all good this morning but now I'm tired". Umm, what? I know morning wood is a real thing so I thought we had an understanding that he had permission to wake me up but so far it's probably only ever happened once or twice and all the other times I find out he just masturbates in the dark lol. Men.
@feather_heather glad that worked! FF is a little tricky sometimes, maybe too smart for her own good. // lol @ your dog story, glad we're not the only ones who have horny dogs. It's such a weird trait. His aunt made her dog a humpy toy instead of just trying to train him not to do it. I get that it's more of an instinct for dogs and that he's not just doing it to piss me off but it's gross and it bothers me so I'm determined to train him out of the habit.
@b_1029 it's such a ridiculous problem to have, lol. Someday when @elle-0409 writes her book I'll ask if I can contribute a chapter on HIO with horny dogs.

@kiki047@shamrocandroll yeah he definitely does pretty often outside my FW my guess is every other day at least. But not inside FW is the rule for us too. Unfortunately this FW snuck up on me and we missed most of it so I was just mad in general. He was like your supposed to tell me these things! Oh well now I may just have to tell him TWW and AF only since my cycle seems to be not as regular as I thought!
@shamrocandroll good luck, hopefully things become clearer soon! @galentine welcome back to the TWW side of life (chock full of seeing pee as gold, hope and wonder)! aww sorry about the EOD goal not being met, life happens sometimes but you still got a good chance @jennifer_louise yes downhill, but I'll admit I only enjoy the beginner/intermediate trails. I was late to this party and only started 3 years ago but have become obsessed. Last year I had a downhill experience with blood too (ahh), but got back on the saddle @feather_heather nice, let us know how the DWTS taping goes (the good and the bad of it) @kiki047 yes it's supposed to be a great weekend with maybe 15+ inches. We are going to a mountain in NH. Haha, we shut the dogs out because otherwise they look at us woefully on the floor until we're finished (a definite mood killer). @kopp5988 welcome! you're right...I should give it to him. I haven't yet because he's annoying and WOULD REALLY not give it to me. That's just a testament to my lack of strength to hold out, so I'll give them to him tonight.
@shamrocandroll haha!! I feel like we could have an entire GTKY: Furbaby Edition of What Do Your Furbabies Do While You HIO? I wonder what they think we're doing... I'm positive he understands, because even when we joke around about it he gets all rowdy. I use those times as training opportunities. He almost knocked my grandmother over once because she was grabbing a blanket off the couch and he jumped up to try to hump the dangling blanket and startled her. @marbellie 15+ inches! Whoa! I don't ski and I think I'd be terrible at it but it looks like so much fun! @kopp5988 whenever MF is grumpy about it I tell him he can have all the one-on-one time he wants (and the dog will help him too if he needs some company) when I'm KU and fat and hormonal and don't want him to touch me, ever, and he rolls his eyes but it usually works to snap him out of the habit at least for a little while.

@feather_heather DWTS? That's so cool! @marbellie We have a pretty hefty snow forecast here too. We don't have plans so we'll probably just be lazy in our jams all day with a roaring fire. @kiki047 One of our dogs stays on the bed with us. She always has. She just lays down and goes to sleep unless we bump her. Then, we get a mini growl. But now that she's deaf, it's even less of a concern. The other one just wants to sleep on the floor unbothered. He used to be a little rambunctious and try to lick stuff too (gross), but he's chilled out now that he's geriatric, haha. @kopp5988 Oh man. I don't even ask him what he's up to when it comes to that. I really should be more open about what I NEED him to do and not do. We're only 2 months in and trying to be a little casual about it, but I know that will need to happen soon.
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: 26/13
Timing: "good"
Typical LP length: ~13
Testing: I tested yesterday and today with BFN. AF is due tomorrow, so I'm just going to wait it out at this point.
R/R: Boyfriend is back from a work trip. While he was gone, my mom was visiting (awkwardly) and one of our dogs was sick. It's nice to have him back because, well, he's my best friend. But also because I'm exhausted, haha. I got 5 hours of uninterrupted sleep last night after a few nights with barely any, so that's great too. Still exhausted but on the mend. Also, ordered some new vitamins to really get moving on this.
CS/Q: That lack of sleep probably threw my temps off, I'm guessing. I got a little excited because I had a dip and then rise. I just started temping, but I'll be all-in next cycle.
@samashley1 Sorry for the BFN // there have been a few rare occasions where he's so tired he sleeps through the whole thing so we just have to work around him, lol. I'm looking forward to more of those days when he's too tired to care about HIO or chasing cats. // on an unrelated note, I chuckle to myself whenever I read your SN because I have a friend named Ashley whose nickname is Smashley so I always think that's your name but it definitely isn't

@marbellie, I could give you a virtual slap in the face! It would be my pleasure, haha. Although..... I am not one to avoid testing, so I'm assuming I wouldn't be very good motivation if I, myself, am over here peeing on everything in sight! So on second thought, maybe someone else would be better suited to this job 😂
@jennifer_louise, YOU GET ME. I literally thought to myself this morning, "be happy-red-shirt Ron, not creepy-rubbed-off-mustache Ron!"
@shamrocandroll, ahhhh "to pee or not to pee" the age old TTC question. Good luck deciding! I vote pee on all the things!!! (See @marbellie, I am a bad influence!)
@feather_heather, hi! Welcome! I'm jealous you are going to DWTS live, that sounds so fun!! I don't watch anymore - is there anyone in particular competing this round who you are excited to see?
@kiki047, I am so glad you followed me over here! Also, I totally commiserate with your dog situation. Our dog also thinks she needs to join in on the HIO festivities 😂 If your currently-working solution ever stops working for any reason, try a Kong toy filled with peanut butter and then frozen for at least 1 hour. This keeps our pup occupied for plenty of time to DTD without her, ahem, participation. 😂 Also, high five right back atcha, my chipper friend!
@kopp5988, hi and welcome! And ugggghhhh so sorry for the timing frustration and your H wasting the precious goods!
I just looked back at my prior post and am flabbergasted by the number of exclamation points I used in one post. I must be hyper from the excitement of coming over to the TWW and getting to hang out with all the TTGP friends I've been missing while WTO. I need to chill so everyone won't know how uncool I am!
(Spoiler alert: it's not going to happen. I need to face the fact that Leslie Knope is never cool.)
@marbellie I hope you have a great time with friends for the ski weekend!
@galentine I'm so glad you're feeling chipper today. Your Ron Swanson reference made me laugh. Nick Offerman and Megan Mullaly were on the bachelor as guest stars Monday night and all I could see where Ron and Tammy!
@feather_heather Hope you have a great time at Dancing with the Stars Live. Is Grocery Store Joe in the cast? I thought I heard he was going to be touring.
@kiki047 Woohoo for your ovaries! Maybe the letrozole was just a kick in the pants for them and they're like "I'm up. I'm ready now, geez!" So funny about your dog. Ours will sometimes get in the way too but if we just ignore them then they'll get bored and leave so it isn't too bad of a problem.
@kopp5988 welcome! I'm sorry about you not being able to get more time in but I'm glad you checked so you were able to get Sunday and Money in!
@samashley1 Sorry about the BFN. I'm basically just waiting it out at this point too. I'm glad you were able to get some sleep in and I hope you get more in and feel rested these next days.

R/R: Thank you guys again for the continued support. I've calmed down a lot now and have made peace with the fact that the IUI most likely didn't work this time. Today I moved the piano I learned how to play on from my parents home into mine. It used to belong to my grandmother but she gave it to my parents when I was young so I could learn. I hope one day my kids can learn to play on it too. I sat down and played for a bit which was nice.
@galentine - The competition part of it is over, so this is just the professional dancers touring for a live show! I listen to the Bobby Bones radio show, so I was so happy that he won!
@littleredm - Yes! There has been different celebs touring with them, and Grocery Store Joe will be with them on Friday! So hoping they do the "I'm too sexy" dance from this season!
@galentine our dog is broken and he doesn't like normal dog things. I don't think he knows he's a dog. He's not a fan of PB but you got me thinking, maybe if I frozen something else in there he'd go for it. He's a weirdo, sometimes he'll spend 40 mins just licking his spiky ball. MF is always telling him "just kisses" and he'll lick instead of gnaw on his toys. @littleredm aww your piano story made me a little teary. That's so nice that you have the piano in your place now. I wish we had kept my Nana's, she did offer it to my parents but my brother and I were terrible students so we flunked out of classes. Actually I was asked not to come back, hahaha.

Re: TWW Weds 1/16
Month/Cycle: 8/3
CD/DPO: 21/4
Timing: -5, -3, -2
Typical LP length: 7-14
Testing: next week
R/R: Well the progesterone did it's trick and I have a decent temp rise. Of course now I feel extra bloated. Yay.
CS/Q: Nah, for the next 11 days, my temps will be influenced by progesterone so they'll look "pretty" regardless
CS/Q: Nothing to see here.
Month/Cycle: 3/2
CD/DPO: 24/10
Timing: -5, -1, O
Typical LP length: 14
Testing: BFN today. Going to try to WFAF now but if I can hold out til 12dpo I will be proud
R/R: got some good news on the home renovation front yesterday. it has been a while since good news has come in and another phase will get started!
CS/Q: missed temping this am *facepalm*

@sevenn sorry about the BFN, FX still though
Month/Cycle: 4/5

Typical LP length: 13
Testing: Feb 1 (can someone home be accountable? Like a virtual slap across the face would do... Better than the Stark whiteness and denials)
R/R: my husband and I have been cleaning like monsters for days in anticipation of his friends flying up for a ski weekend. The first few arrive today, it'll be so fun!
CS/Q: nope
Woohoooo!

Any ideas?

@kiki047 omg your dog! I’m glad you found something that worked! Also I’m cramping (AF like) today at what I believe is 2dpo, may just be constipated though. And last month I had ovulation like cramps for a week after supposed ovulation, temps couldn’t confirm it though.
@galentine sorry about the frustrating timing! I’m right here with you this month

Still high Monday morning first thing. Had ovulation pain Monday afternoon til bed. So we only had Sunday night and Monday night which seem to be -1 and 0. And let’s just say DH helped himself Saturday and Sunday morning with me being away so I was mad at him for “wasting”

@galentine welcome back to the TWW side of life (chock full of seeing pee as gold, hope and wonder)! aww sorry about the EOD goal not being met, life happens sometimes but you still got a good chance
@jennifer_louise yes downhill, but I'll admit I only enjoy the beginner/intermediate trails. I was late to this party and only started 3 years ago but have become obsessed. Last year I had a downhill experience with blood too (ahh), but got back on the saddle
@feather_heather nice, let us know how the DWTS taping goes (the good and the bad of it)
@kiki047 yes it's supposed to be a great weekend with maybe 15+ inches.

(Spoiler alert: it's not going to happen. I need to face the fact that Leslie Knope is never cool.)
CD/DPO: 28/ 13 dpiui
Timing: idk
Typical LP length: 13-14
Testing: not going to test again unless AF doesn't show.
CS/Q: nope
@littleredm - Yes! There has been different celebs touring with them, and Grocery Store Joe will be with them on Friday! So hoping they do the "I'm too sexy" dance from this season!
@littleredm aww your piano story made me a little teary. That's so nice that you have the piano in your place now. I wish we had kept my Nana's, she did offer it to my parents but my brother and I were terrible students so we flunked out of classes. Actually I was asked not to come back, hahaha.
