I was told this morning by a cowco-worthat they put a catheter in when you give birth. How many have had this done?

    I think the catheter is only if you have an epidural, unless a cection then a catheter as well, but is you have no epidural then you have no need for catheter as far as I know.

    If you have an epidural, yes! It's because your legs and organs are numb and you wouldn't know if you had to pee.

    Epidural .... I didn’t feel a thing during or after  when they took it out.

    I had one before my c-section. Yes I agree it's usually only when you get an epi. I, however could feel it😞 And after pushing 3 1/2  hours with no meds it was not pleasant!
