My husband was so awesome today. I've been so tired lately, it's been hard to get off the couch on my days off from work. My husband watched my 2 year old this afternoon and I was able to nap for an hour and a half! It was amazing. My son doesn't nap anymore so it's hard for me to keep up with his toddler energy level these days.
He was also awesome in that he got me pizza for lunch at my favorite pizza place and did the grocery shopping. He also made dinner tonight.
He got my son ready for bed, changed his diaper, brushed his teeth, and put him to bed. I am so grateful to have him and he has been so helpful. Most importantly, this thread reminded me to TELL HIM how much I appreciate him, which I forget to do sometimes. I just told him and he seemed so happy.
My husband has been so great with picking up my slack. I've been so sick and tired, and he's so understanding about it. This is our third, so he could be like "STFU, not like you haven't done this before" but he's not. He's also been awesome about handling our 2-year-old; midwife told me to limit my lifting of heavy things because of the previa and my husband just swoops in and takes care of our 30-lb boy whenever he can.

Dh has been really undestanding with how lazy I've been. This is also our 3rd so he could call BS but doesn't. This pregnancy has also hit me a million times harder than the other 2 and I think he can just see that. Between a serious heart condition, those meds which already made me tired, a UTI/possible kidney infection and those meds, and kidney stones...I've been pretty useless the last few weeks. He's picked up so much of my normal duties. And not complained when I said I wanted to pick up food instead of cook. Right after we made an agreement not to eat out so much this year lol.
DH has been great about my food aversions. One night this week the only thing I wanted to eat was a very specific burrito from one particular place so we went there and it was packed and we waited for 30 minutes, something DH usually hates. He has offered to make me anything I want to eat and do the cooking.
Last night I woke up at 4:30 am (happens a lot) and was hungry so I got a snack and managed to wake up all three of our dogs who proceeded to mill about the house. DH got up and took them all outside while I got back in bed.
Honestly I'm in awe of my husband. He has always been the nicest guy but ever since I told him I'm pregnant he has been so proud and happy and caring. Hes so excited to be a dad. Its so surprising because we have always been happy with deciding to not have kids but we somehow evolved together this last year.
