  If you lean toward Lainey I'd suggest Delaney. To me it sounds a little bit more complete and less nickname-y. You could easily name them Lane and nickname Lane-y too.

  didn't vote but agree with previous suggestion of Delaney for a girl.  Other "Laney" nn full names could be some form of Elena, Alaina, etc.
