In-home daycare costs???

We are currently in a center, but w/ no bonus and no raise for '09, we can't continue (especially w/ another on the way).  The center runs us $1600 - $2000/month. 

So now we are looking into in-home daycares.  I am curious as to what the difference is in cost. 

I'm currently in the Franklin area.

    The ones I have talked to in Walpole cost about $55 a day per child.  I started looking at Home day cares after I realized how friggen much certain day care centers cost.

    We pay $48 a day for infants at a home-based center in Lowell.

    Pricing starts at about $35/ day and goes down depending how many days you sign up for in Attleboro.

    Consider hosting an Au-Pair if your Living Situation allows it (meaning you have a spare bedroom)

    Upfront cost may seem high- but with a second on the way childcare cost works out at approx. $350/ week for 45hrs flexible in-house care...

    I've seen them range from $30 to $60 per day. Some base it on how many hours your child is there, age, how many days a week, etc.  My mom has been a home day care provider for years.  I am a big supporter of home day care. My moms kids stay in touch as adults now.
