  I think the whole "Donate to this cause for my birthday" thing on Facebook is getting annoying. EVERYONE is doing it now and it's like I literally can't afford to donate to every cause. It's a great idea but I think it's getting out of control - at least with my friends. lol.

  @brookert615 I think adults expecting birthday gifts in general is annoying. How about we just go to lunch? There you go, happy birthday!

  @ruby696 Yes! 100% agree with that. I'll only do birthday gifts if it's like a big birthday and even then it's like a bottle of wine lol.

  I'm probably committing social suicide on this board by saying this, but here goes anyway...
  
  I tried really hard to get into Parks & Rec and I just couldn't.  I didn't dislike it, but it just didn't hold my attention enough to commit to watching it all.

  @shamrocandroll I have never watched a single episode of Parks and Recs. I don't have time to watch all these shows! If it stays on Netflix, I might start it.

  1/2019: Husband diagnosed with grade 3 varicocele
  4/05/2019: varicocele repair surgery
  6/13/2019: BFP!!! EDD: 2/22/2020   Baby girl born 2/27/2020
  7/18/2019: Total Motile Count at 3 months post surgery = 51 millions!! (number must be >20 millions to conceive naturally).

  KIDDING. We can still be friends. As AMAZING as Parks and Recreation is, the first season isn't the best. I am willing to admit that it takes at least until halfway through season two before it gets great.

  My UO: I think pre and post wedding parties have gotten way out of hand. It seems like it's the norm these days to have engagement parties, multiple showers, stag and doe parties, stock the bar parties, giant rehearsal dinners that rival the wedding itself, and post-wedding brunches. And the biggest offender, IMO, are the bachelor/bachelorette parties that involve legit week-long VACATIONS to far-off destinations requiring time off work and $$$$ to attend. It's way over the top and I'm over it. I am truly happy for your marriage and I am excited to celebrate it with you, but I only have so much time and money to go around.

  The Office is generally funny, but I still find it super overrated. 
  
  [I would watch Parks and Rec over The Office any day but DH disagrees! big point of conflict in our marriage - not really haha]

  @shamrocandroll @rikiteacup I've also never seen a single episode, and I'm sad that Canadian Netflix doesn't seem to have it. Now I have to try extra hard to find it online or another way to watch it if I care that much. That seems like too much effort. 
  
  @galentine I'm getting married this year and I agree - why are all these things necessary? I think I offended my BMs when I said no bachelorette, and I think I miffed my MIL when I said our Stag and Doe is more like an Engagement Party in that I don't want any gifts and I don't want to use it to raise money, it's literally just a party where we'll play some games and have some food and just generally enjoy each other's company. She's looking at me like, "so what's the point?" Which is also true, there's no point to it, we just want to have a fun party with the fun people (not the obligatory distant relatives and other randoms that will inevitably be invited to our wedding). I'm begrudgingly letting my mom throw a shower for me but I'm already dreading it.

  Sep '19: 2nd IUI, same protocol - BFN (MH: 16mil) 

  Dec '19: IVF #1 w/ICSI, PGT. 5 retrieved, 4 fertilized, 3 blasts, 3 PGT-A normal.

  Mar '20: FET #1, perfect 5AA blast transferred. BFN.

  Sept '20: FET #2, 5BB tsf. 9/18/20 BFP!! EDD: 5/27/21. MMC 11w                                                  

  Feb ‘21: FET #3, last 6BB blast transferred. BFP, EDD 11/2/21. MC 5w3d.

  Jan '22: FET #5 - Kitchen sink immune/RIF protocol incl. PRP, intralipids, prednisone, medrol, nivestym, fragmin - CP

  Feb '22: FET #6 - Kitchen sink immune/RIF protocol w/higher doses of pred & fragmin - BFN

  Mar '22: Mock cycle for ERA - cancelled, repeat endometrial biopsy instead. Still positive for endometritis. RX ciprofloxacin & amoxicillin. 

  Apr '22: IVF #4 w/IMSI, PGT. 28R, 23M, 16F, 11 blasts. PGT-A = 6 normal. 

  June '22: FET #7 - Microdose lupron downreg w/kitchen sink immune/RIF protocol - double embryo transfer. BFN.

  July '22: FET #8 - Mini stim w/Puregon + trigger, kitchen sink immune/RIF protocol. BFN. 

  Sep '22: Taking a break

  Dec '22: Attempted abdominal myomectomy, fibroid too close to cervix and major blood vessels. Wasn't removed.

  @galentine I didn't get that far, and honestly it just sounds too overwhelming to commit that much time to just trying to get into it, haha.  If you don't catch my attention right away, I'm going to wander off when I see something shiny.    There are just too many shows I want to watch and very little time in my life.  Also, 1000% agree on the wedding stuff!  I didn't want any of that stuff, and asked for everything to be low key, and I still feel like it was way overboard.  Like, people shouldn't have to travel significant distance to go to an event that isn't the wedding itself.

  I usually Google "XYZ TVshow free streaming" and can always find links (first links are going to be Hulu, Amazon...)

  @galentine you know you are preaching to the choir right now, as every day is a struggle with my twin sister's wedding and her thinking just because she is spending money on a wedding that everyone else must therefore spend copious amounts of money to be in her wedding...
  
  
  
  I get that getting married is a *maybe* one-time thing that should be celebrated, but why do you need to go into debt to have a huge wedding with events rather than scale back and save for something else (i.e. vacation, house, kids, etc.). If you dreamed of a huge wedding and can finance it, great. Just try and be considerate of others who can't.
