R/R: see above. Had some abnormal spotting yesterday so thought maybe I was a SS haha. I got my hopes up way too high. I’ve been staring at my chart trying to figure out how I could possibly have a later O date because I’m obviously KU lol. Rave- still having a pretty rough time and wasn’t going to have any raves, but then I walked in from the gym to my insanely happy / goofy dog and my day got a little brighter!

ETA: sorry I’ve been so negative on here. Some cycles hit me harder than others. I’ll get over my pity party soon!

@marebear15 they said they would have the results in 2-2.5 hours. DH wants me to let him know ASAP but I don't want to distract him from his work day so idk what I'm going to do. Plus I've had a box of onesies sitting in my closet forever that was going to be my surprise for him. I want to be able to properly celebrate with him if we get good news!

R/R: I went in for my progesterone test today so still waiting on those results. DH's grandmother's funeral is tomorrow and then Saturday my family will be getting together to plan my dad's memorial service which will be on the 26th so kind of a rough weekend ahead. Also I just want to thank everybody so much for being so supportive. I feel bad that my posts have been about sad things recently but it helps to know I can talk about these things and get much needed support.

R/R: I'm feeling better after my disappointment. I'd be lying if I said wine didn't help. I'm also feeling good about my LP being longer this month; it was only 10 days after coming off BCP last cycle. Big rave: I splurged on the OvuSense fertility monitor! I'm relieved that I won't have to worry about waking up at the same time every morning.

@begging4abump you happened to catch TTGP during a particularly busy TWW apparently, the threads aren't usually this busy (but it's nice when they are other than not being able to keep up). It's been quiet over in WTO lately. Feel free to lurk and jump in whenever you feel comfortable!
@littleredm *hugs* no need to apologize for expressing your feelings. This board has always made me feel like it's a safe space for us to be able to talk openly and freely about our lives, whether that is TTC related or not. I am so sorry you have experienced so much loss and sadness these past few months, and I am so hopeful for you that maybe you'll have a little something to celebrate soon!!
@inthewoods23 omg omg you should have your results soon! In YH's defense, sitting at work all day wondering might be more of a distraction than just knowing? If he's one of those kinds of H's that is really invested in the outcome?

@holly321 personally I'd rather be hopeful and have my heart crushed than walk around with a chip on my shoulder (i do plenty of both). I'm feeling optimistic right there with you. And thanks for your comments yesterday about my dream. Its just so hard to explain and sounds crazy, i know, but there's something sooo real about it.

@kimmer1412 I've come to the belief that its a good thing if your have BFN any sooner than 9dpo because any earlier could be an ectopic pregnancy. So I think your BFN today is cause for celebration

Sorry about the pap, I had mine today too. It's good to just check in my with doc once a year though. Even if it is while she has items up my hooha.

@b_1029 I'm sorry for the BFN my friend. Have you and DH talked about what you're comfortable doing next? Have you done any testing yet?

R/R: Day 10, no sugar and nothing magical has happened yet. I was assuming my hair would grow 10 feet and my skin would glow and I would gain 50 IQ points but alas, just no. Ok fine my digestion is slightly better but I still want to eat cheesecake.

I had my annual this AM and the doc def feels the lump in my breast, which has me freaked out b/c I convinced myself it was nothing and she wasn't even going to be able feel it. Now I get to have an ultrasound (and not the fun kind.) She is pretty sure its just a cyst which I think is ridiculous that can even happen but whatever.

@nomangos23 I know - I'm low-key wanting SMEPtember to happen because it's looking like such a good crowd lol. And yes - I am making changes but I've been spinning my tires for a while now and hoping that the medicines I'm on will start doing their job so I can effectively lose the weight! That's too funny YH didn't like Tidying Up either!!! AHHH good luck testing tomorrow - sending all of the positive vibes, girl!!! Sorry you have to get the ultrasound but glad she's making sure you're getting it checked. I have a friend that gets cysts in her breasts all of the time - that was the first I heard of it! @klmcguire they’re definitely the best therapy! Nothing beats happy pets! That’s exciting YH comes home tonight! Where has he been/ how long?

@nomangos23 I actually brought it up last night. He said he doesn’t really want to go back to the RE until we’re completely out of CC debt, which he estimates will be 5-7 months. I almost shat myself. So we “agreed” (read: I told him I couldn’t wait that long, mentally) on April because that’ll be after 3 months of Clomid and his big international trip for school in March. We did some initial testing- bloodwork for me, HSG, and SA a little bit ago and everything came back normal. But enough about me. Keeping everything crossed for your testing tomorrow and hoping your dream wires were criss crossed! Agreed about the grad thread. Such a loss/ september’s gain!

@brookert615 why would they have you stop trying all together? I could understand if they said to try a lifestyle change but I wouldn't think you have to stop TTC. Not my area of medicine though so what do I know.

@daisy0322 My endocrinologist told me last year that she wanted me to lose weight to start trying because it adds complications with all of the health issues that I have. But she seems to be okay with it when I had my appointment in December - she just said she preferred it I lost some more!

I wish I had better news.... but I'm waiting for AF now.... BFN

I didn't think the news would hit me as hard as it did, but we'll just have to try again.

Other shitty things happened later in the day and if you're interested, the story is in the spoiler below.

I had a couple other really shitty/stressful things pop up after the news that resulted in me going out to my car in the middle of the work day to go cry, hyperventilate, and have an anxiety attack. That super sucked because DH was in a conference call at the time so I couldn't call him to talk to him. He's a huge support for me when my mental state takes a nose dive. I got through it without him (I think I only need 10 minutes) and I'm okay now. But I definitely walked back into work like I was on a mission for revenge because I ended up just being angry after the anxiety went away.

Got teary eyed in the car on the way home thinking about how hard this whole process is. Once home, DH came in the house with an excited look on his face just waiting to hear the news and I dropped my head, shook "no", and then burst into tears again.

At least it's only a few more days until we can start IUI #2 with another baseline US. I thought I was going to want to spend a day or 2 away from the board to feel my feelings, but just having DH to hug makes the process go 100x faster. Plus all you gals are a wonderful support system.
