This is a place for those of us who have already started TTC, but have started infertility testing and/or treatments. You can express your thoughts, feelings, and frustrations on infertility. TTC can be a long journey naturally, then add in the difficulties associated with infertility, and it becomes a whole new ball game. The road to infertility can be lonely, frustrating, and complicated, so let's make this a place where we can vent, ask questions, and support one another. Feel free to resurrect this thread at any point in the week if you have something to say. Treat this as an ongoing conversation.

How are things going?: Slightly frustrated with my body. Went in for baseline ultrasound/blood work last wednesday to start FET meds. My estrogen was in the 100s (nurse said it should be 20-30) and my lining was still at 9, on cd2 so I am back on BCP for another two weeks to hopefully regulate my hormones and try again. I am thankful that my doctor wants to make sure I have the best environment for a FET but as a very impatient person, I hate the waiting.
Any questions?: Has this happened to anyone else?

I'm usually really late to this party and it takes me forever to catch up. I hope it's a good sign the IF thread is getting quieter! I look forward to the day we all graduate out of here!
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): I was supposed to do another letrozole cycle but my CD1 fell between xmas and NY so the clinic was closed and I couldn't get my prescription filled. Now we're just doing a monitored natural cycle with TI
How are things going?: Trying really hard to just relax this cycle and not get too worked up over it. There's nothing else we can do at this point so attempting to focus on the wedding planning and let nature take its course. Nervous about an unmedicated cycle as I've been persistently an-ovulatory in the past so I anticipate I'll be a complete basketcase around O time waiting to see if my follies cooperate.
Any questions?: Not that I can think of.
GTKY: Who was your first celebrity crush? The earliest I can remember is probably Jonathan Taylor Thomas. Or Devon Sawa from Casper, lol. But my email address throughout high school, and the one I wrote in people's yearbooks, was shane_west_iz_sexy@hotmail.com How embarrassing.
TTC History:

@kobrien827 Ah, I'm sorry for the delay. I think that would frustrate anyone and I (also an impatient person) would be losing my mind. I hope you're good to go in two weeks.
Diagnosis (if you've been): Unexplained RPL
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): Benched.
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Saline sono will happen next week.
How are things going?: Well I finally hit CD1 yesterday, so the saline sono will go forward next week. I expect it to be normal, so I'm not that excited, but I'm hoping the karyotype results are in and we can go over those at the same appointment. Plus, yay for getting through the first cycle - two more before I'm off the bench.
Any questions?: Nope, not much happening yet.
GTKY: Who was your first celebrity crush? Oh, there have been so many... who was around first, Jonathan Taylor Thomas or Joey from NKOTB? I had posters of both, and one of Kirk Cameron. Clearly I was not the coolest kid. 😂
@kobrien827 I feel like TTC is a bunch of hurry up and wait! But you're right! Other REs may have just said lets do it. So it's good your RE wants the best environment and is willing to wait on that! I hope your next appointment goes well (: @kiki047 I'm with you on JTT! Haha. @ruby696 I'd love to hear about your saline sono experience. I'm pretty nervous about it! Also, it sounds like we all loved us some JTT! LOL.
Diagnosis (if you've been): LP Defect, Possible MFI
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WFAF
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Testing cycle for IVF. Will be doing a saline sonogram and mock transfer but can't schedule until AF arrives
How are things going?: Not doing anything at the moment but healthy eating, exercising, and saving $ to prep for IVF. All is well!
Any questions?: Not at the moment!
GTKY: Who was your first celebrity crush? Probably JTT HAHA!
@kobrien827 ugh I’m sorry your body is being frustrating. That must be so hard to keep waiting (totally get being impatient, I’m right there with you). Hope things are better in a couple of weeks so you can get the party started!
@kiki047 omg to your email address- that’s priceless! I hope you all are able to get lots of wedding stuff done this month and enjoy the time with each other. Go follies go!!!
@ruby696 yay to getting closer to getting off the bench! Hope your sono goes well and you are able to find out the karyotype results next week!
@crookshanks10 hope AF comes quickly so you can get started on the testing cycle!
Diagnosis (if you've been): unexplained
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW and going BSC
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): this was my first cycle taking clomid (50 mg, CD 3-7). I have a follow up ultrasound next week to check on a small cyst.
How are things going?: stuck somewhere between getting my hopes up (but I’m a SS and this is my first cycle on clomid so that’ll magically get me KU!) and being 0% positive because while I had a lot more CM than normal when I first started clomid, I had no EWCM / hardly any fertile cm around O. Glad the holidays are over and I don’t have to put on a happy face anymore!
Any questions?: none that I can think of.
GTKY: Who was your first celebrity crush? hmmmm I would have to say Justin Timberlake/ JC chasez from *NSYNC or Leo!
@kobrien827i would be frustrated too. But, it really is good your Doc is wanting the best possible conditions. FX it pays off! @kiki047maybe your body will have gotten the hang of this whole O thing now. It's hard to just be relaxed though. @ruby696how has your mindset been now that 1month of benching has passed? @crookshanks10how did I miss that you were headed to IVF?! I hope it is successful! I just had my saline sono last week and it really was NBD. I took the ibuprofen 1hr before as advised. I didnt have any issues after except a lot of leaky feelings 😖 I easily could have gone to work but felt like I needed the mental health day to accept the "unexplained".
@b_1029 Justin Timberlake is a good one! Ohh the Nsync days! @prpl11butterfly We had our next steps appointment on 1/2 and I have been MIA, just absorbing it all! I'm happy to hear your saline sono wasn't bad at all! I'll definitely take some ibuprofen beforehand. The unexplained dx is very frustrating. But I guess still better than having a "major" issue. I have my fx for you!
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): IUI #1 with letrozole, trigger, and progesterone suppositories.
How are things going?: testing day is almost here! Ahhhhhhhh!!
Any questions?: Nope
GTKY: Who was your first celebrity crush? I never really crushed on anyone that much as a preteen, but I definitely had the hots for Elijah Wood in high school.

@kiki047 OMG that email address! That legit made me laugh at my desk. Does anyone know how JTT ended up looking as an adult? Cause looking back, I'm not sure why I was so worked up. 😂
@crookshanks10 I'll update you once it's over. I'm a little nervous too.
@prpl11butterfly Eh, I feel kind of ambivalent. I'm definitely not anxious to get started. I'm generally a positive person, but after so many losses, I just don't believe they will find a cause and I don't know that I can move forward without one. Glad to hear your sono was NBD. I hope you're a SS on your first cycle too.
Happy 2019 ladies! Apologies for being MIA over the holidays. I took a break from....well, pretty much everything for a couple weeks. But, all back into the routine now.
@kobrien827 Sorry to hear your body isn't playing game with you right now, but as you stated, your doc is definitely making sure you have the perfect environment for the little blast to set up shop. Keeping reminding yourself of that and the week will hopefully pass quickly for you.
@kiki047 Well that bites! Timing of all of these things can be such a drag. FX that you cycle surprises you and it is not and ano cycle this month. Haha your email is too funny.
@ruby696 Yay! Glad to hear you are getting closer to being off the bench again. Hope that you are able to get those results back at your sono too.
@crookshanks10 Sorry to hear that you will be going down the IVF road, but I am glad that you have a plan to move forward. I had a saline sono and it honestly was not that bad at all. I took an advil 30 before and had mild cramping afterwards, but went back to work and resumed the day as normal. Panty liners are your friend though!
@b_1029 FX that you are a SS and that your first cycle on meds was just what you needed to be successful. You are not out, until you are out!
@prpl11butterfly When do you think your will get your results back? FX that they are all good. Frustrating that it is still unexplained though. *hugs*
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): nada - benched
How are things going?: TTC wise, meh. Not much happening honestly. We tried to have a conversation about the possibility of donor sperm and it did not go that well. So I stepped away from it for now. We are just focusing on making lifestyle changes and hoping for better SA results in a few months. Everything else - the changes are tough! Finding products to replace things that you love is really hard to do. Especially things like makeup and hair products. I have found the other steps to be fairly simple though.
Any questions?:
GTKY: Who was your first celebrity crush? River Phoenix. He was a hunk, and sadly gone too soon.
@nitnat007 I'm glad to hear your saline sono went well! I'm sure discussing donor sperm is a super hard conversation to have. I hope his next SA is better! So many things to worry about, but we only have control over so much!
@nitnat007 Oh man, that's a hard conversation to have. I would have hard time if we had to consider donor eggs and I imagine men would have the same feelings about donor sperm - at least initially. FX YH had better numbers next time and it's a non-issue. Hugs to you both.
ETA: And I'm sure its hard for you too. I didn't mean to imply the difficulty was one-sided.
@nitnat007 he said we should hear back from them on Fri. If alls normal it will be a message through portal, if not a call. I'm anxious everytime I get a call or my inbox dings. I can't imagine how MH would take that. I'm sure it was tough on both of you. I hope that if turns out to be unnecessary.
Remember when I thought I was having no side effects from the progesterone suppositories? Well, I gained another 3lbs since I last weighed myself (sometime last week?). I guess I have been looking a little bloated lately I still don't feel any different than normal, but I guess there is a difference in my body being on the progesterone. And here I thought I was special for having no side effects!
@nitnat007 FX you have a better SA in the future! Using donor sperm is such a difficult decision to make.

@inthewoods23 what progesterone are you on? I'm going on Crinone (sp?) next cycle, IE aprox 4wks from now. I don't think I can be bloated....my pants barely button as it is and all my dresses make me look KU right now (thank you depression....)
@kobrien827 ugh, that super frustrating about having to wait but that's definitely a good sign your RE is really trying hard to set you up for success. FX this is just what you need for a successful FET! @ruby696 Glad your first cycle is over and done with. GL with the saline sono. // is it just me or does JTT actually kinda resemble Tim Allen? lol it's weird when kids end up resembling their TV parents even when there's no relation. Props to the casting director for nailing that one I guess! @crookshanks10 My saline sono was pretty traumatic but I'm beginning to think they hit a nerve which is why I almost hit the roof. Everyone else I've talked to has said it was no big deal. I took the Advil an hour before as directed, but the tech said that's not actually for the pain, it's to relax the muscles so there's less resistance to the catheter. @prpl11butterfly I'm hoping that's how bodies work... can letrozole "teach" my ovaries how they're supposed to function? lol. Goooo muscle memory! (even tho they're not muscles). @b_1029 I forgot about BSB/ 'N Sync. I was team Howie/Lance though. @inthewoods23 sorry about the bloating. I'm keeping all the things crossed for you though! Your testing date is coming up so soon! @ninat007 hugs to you and YH. That's a really tough conversation to have, for both of you. FX for better SA results and in the meantime GL with your product switches. I did a half-assed switch last year, mostly just transitioning to glass containers, trying to find more natural household cleaners, etc. I didn't go so far as to switch out my shampoos/makeup/etc yet. It's hard! I also couldn't give up my lysol wipes, lol.
I found a screenshot of a yearbook comment from 2002... cringeworthy, yet so amusing lol. Think anyone will try to email me in 20 years? I tried logging in but it's been disabled

Okay question for all the saline sono ladies. My doctor says 600mg advil or motrin for cramping. I still have my rx from my last loss, which is hydrocod+apap 5+325 - it's specifically for cramping. Am I being a total baby if I take one of those instead?

@ruby696 perhaps. But as long as it's not going to impair you, you could. I honestly think you'll be fine with the advil (I did take 800 and not 6 though)
Eta..
@inthewoods23 mine will be as well. I asked the guy and he said they are stored at room temp so probably not.
And!! Earlier they told me the copay would be $175. Crazy. But whatevs, gotta do it. I didn't have my FSA card so had to call back tonight. The guy commented on how high the copay was. He goes "can I put you on hold and check something with that real quick" of course I said yes (actually I said "as long as you come back and tell me its cheaper"). Came back 5min later and goes "so I was able to get that down to 35 for you". I couldn't beleive it.
When I got the letrozole last month the pharmacy didn't have my new insurance when they filled it and I saw that it's like, $120 without insurance. They finally asked me for it and reprinted the medication sheet and it went down to $3. Thanks insurance!

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): IUI #2 was yesterday
How are things going?: I went in for my mid cycle scan on CD10 last
Friday and I had a follicle at 19 already. The next closest one was at 12. So
we triggered on Saturday and did the IUI on Monday. If follies truly grow up to
2mm a day then the 12 could have
gotten to an 18. But that’s very unlikely. My lining was at a 7, so that’s a
great improvement.
The nurse for my IUI couldn’t
find my cervix… This is only the second time this has happened (the first time
was for the HSG and the guy said he was going to have to take out the speculum
and use his fingers to find it… um, that’s awkward, but ok). The nurse dug
around for 5 minutes, even getting out the long speculum, before she finally
went and got another nurse. I’m so glad the second nurse came in because she
was amazing and so kind. I was so nervous for the procedure anyways (last time
it hurt really bad, lots of blood and cramping all day afterwards). This second
nurse found my cervix no problem, no need for the long speculum. When she
inserted the catheter and I started cramping she readjusted and then made me
take some deep calming breaths and the pain went away. She then waited a little
bit longer before injecting the sperm and then left the catheter in for a
little bit. Everything she did was so calming and not rushed (I can’t imagine
injecting sperm into a cramping uterus would be a good thing). I just feel so
much better about this one than I did the last one. Now the dreaded progesterone
starts!
Any questions?: Nope
GTKY: Who was your first celebrity crush? The first one I can remember is JTT! So cute
and even today he’s still a hottie!
@kobrien827 Leo was my
second crush! He was so cute. Sorry about your frustrating body.
@kiki047 I hope you don’t
have another an-O cycle. That sucks that they couldn’t just put you on
something on CD6, especially with your history. Even if it was still just a TI
cycle. How did I forget about Casper!? He was another cutie!
@ruby696 FX the next few
cycles go quickly for you.
@crookshanks10 You are
always so positive, it’s infectious! I’m sorry you have to move on to IVF. IF
sucks.
@b_1029 I think we have all
been there, secretly hoping we are a SS but at the same time being 100% certain
it wont work. IF plays mind games. Hang in there.
@prpl11butterfly That’s great
that you were able to get a better deal on medication! The progesterone is not
too bad. It’s more just a pain to deal with the liners than anything else.
@inthewoods23 I have to
admit that I hated Elijah Wood lol. And it’s all because of Lord of the Rings.
I was watching it with a bunch of friends and there’s a scene where he gets stabbed.
My friend said he looked like he was constipated as he was withering in agony.
Ever since then I cannot get that out of my head and I think he constantly
looks like he’s constipated lol.

@crookshanks10 So true. We tend to get so obsessive with this process, but we also need to practice the art of letting go too! For our sanity sake.
@ruby696 Thank you. You are right, it is a really hard conversation to have and I am not sure how I would feel if it we were discussing egg donors instead. I know that he is really hurt by it all and is struggling to process and accept it as a possibility. We both are. Maybe I am handling it better as he TW* has a bio son from a previous marriage *TW however this would be my first and only shot. Will have to see how the next few months progress. Also, if you feel you need the extra meds for the sono, go for it. Advil was enough for me, and I think I may have only taken 400mg.
@prpl11butterfly Ugh, I hope that Friday comes quickly for you and that it is a simple inbox ding that chimes and not a tough phone conversation when the time comes. Score on lower prices for meds too!! Love that.
@inthewoods23 I definitely felt side effects on the suppositories. I still feel like I am trying to get that weight gain off too. But....that also has something to do with the holidays too?! Meh...blaming the meds lol.
@kiki047 I am struggling to give up my kitchen surface cleaner too! I worry that things are not getting "clean" enough. In the process of researching laundry detergent options. Checking out reviews on the "ecoegg".
@nitnat007 I don't know how I missed you in my string of tags. Sorry. I'm so sorry your at this point, having these hard conversations. I hope you guys don't have to go that route. Your diagnosis intrigues me. My RE wont do a more in-depth SA. It's always in the back of my mind that there could be something more wrong with MH even tho all his other numbers look good besides morphology being on the low end. For the IUIs they give us the count and the % motility but don't mention the morphology. It's frustrating.

@prpl11butterfly I’m so sorry for the unexplained DX. That has to be incredibly disheartening. Keeping my FX for you.
@nitnat007 that would be such a hard conversation to have. I’m sorry it didn’t go well but it’s understandable, I know men tend to be pretty sensitive about this stuff and it’s just overall difficult. I hope the next SA comes back better! And I know I’ve said this before, but seriously, awesome job on making that lifestyle change!
@LJMoon6 oh man that sounds a bit tramautic. I’m glad the second nurse was able to get it done and help you relax! FX for you! I’m glad you’re feeling good about it!
@ruby696 if I knew I could've taken something stronger that would've helped with the cramping, I'd have taken alll the things. So if you're worried about it, I'm no doctor but I don't think there's anything wrong with it. @LJMoon6 that's super weird (and a little concerning?) that the first nurse couldn't find your cervix. I'm sorry that was such a traumatic experience. I had an absolutely awful time at my saline sono because of the cramping and discomfort so if we need to move to IUI I'm going to need a lot of hand holding and will probably need to be sedated (it was that bad). Thank god for the second nurse. FX this is the last time you have to do anything like that for a good long while! GL with the progesterone!

@LJMoon6 the entrance or the exit of the cervix? Weirdly they could see the end of my cervix, but for some reason had a really hard time getting the catheter through. Straightened it out and it went in easy.
@kiki047 my cramping during the IUI was less uncomfortable to me than my cramping during the HSG. Probably because those that work in a fertility clinic are a lot more compassionate than a regular OB! Or maybe they've done it so much they do a better job at recognizing how to help you from feeling so much cramping.

@kiki047 I don't think it's that weird that she couldn't find my cervix (someone correct me if I'm wrong). I have a tilted uterus (and cervix. Or are these the same thing?) My cervix is located to the right and up from where a normal cervix would be. I've been told that a tilted uterus could be genetic (I think my mom had it too) but I also have moderate scoliosis so it could be from that. My back is shaped like an S. I'm assuming some of my organs are shifted because of it. I've always been told that it doesn't affect fertility. *shrug* I'm sorry to hear how painful the sono was. The nurse this time told me that the first time is usually more painful because it's the first time a catheter has been up there. Your uterus kinda gets used to it and doesn't freak out as much the second or third time. Hopefully it wont be as bad for the iui.
@inthewoods23 She couldn't find the entrance (like the entire cervix). She just kept digging around in my vagina lol. It sounds different from what you experienced. They have no problem threading the catheter through. Good luck today!

@LJMoon6 Welp, now I'm really hoping my RE can find my cervical opening during Monday's saline sono. I have a tilted uterus too. If there's a chance there could be digging around, I'm definitely taking better pain meds 😂
@LJMoon6 I find it strange that your RE wont do a more in depth SA. All of our other numbers bar the morphology were fine in the original test, so without doing the in depth testing, we would never have known just how severe the Acrosome defect is. Doing IVF w/ICSI puts you ahead of most of these issues, but with the defect it gives us roughly a 3% chance of success vs the average of 40% (I can't remember the exact figure on what a normal cycle with ICSI is, but it is WAY better odds than what we have). This boat is nothing something that I would even wish on anyone. Is there no way that you can push your RE for the test? Just seems strange since it is something that you would pay for anyway. The information that you have the better off you are IMO. But I hope that none of that becomes a worry for you and that IUI is what is the magic solution!
@b_1029 You are very right. Men are extremely sensitive and I think that is what is driving him right now. It is a huge blow to his ego and it hurts. I just wish there was a way I could fix it.
@LJMoon6 ah ok, that makes more sense. I've just never heard of that before. My left ovary is up about 3-4" higher than the right and hides behind my fibroid so they have a hard time finding it on the u/s. They have to really dig around in there, while also pushing down on my abdomen, to get a clear scan. I guess I never thought the same could happen with your cervix when it isn't where it's supposed to be. I kinda wondered about that too, when things aren't where they 'should' be... like, sorry if this is TMI but MF sometimes has performance issues so I often wonder if he's not ... how do I say this... "all the way in", maybe his swimmers aren't getting anywhere close to where they need to be? It doesn't happen every time but these are the kinds of things that occur to me when I'm lying there wide awake in the middle of the night googling reasons why I'm not KU.

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): WFFET

@kiki047 I'm with you on JTT!
@kiki047 maybe your body will have gotten the hang of this whole O thing now.
Diagnosis (if you've been): It's 95% offical... Unexplained RPL
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW but we only got in O day so essentially WFAF
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Nada
How are things going?: Things are going. Waiting for our chromosome results but expecting them to be fine.
Any questions?: Nope, not yet but perhaps next cycle which will be progesterone aided.
GTKY: Who was your first celebrity crush? I see a theme here... but obviously JTT
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): IUI #1 with letrozole, trigger, and progesterone suppositories.
How are things going?: testing day is almost here! Ahhhhhhhh!!
Any questions?: Nope
GTKY: Who was your first celebrity crush? I never really crushed on anyone that much as a preteen, but I definitely had the hots for Elijah Wood in high school.

@crookshanks10 I'll update you once it's over. I'm a little nervous too.
@b_1029 FX so hard that you are a SS!!
@inthewoods23 Good luck!!!
*hugs*
@inthewoods23 FX for testing day!

ETA: And I'm sure its hard for you too. I didn't mean to imply the difficulty was one-sided.
@nitnat007 FX you have a better SA in the future! Using donor sperm is such a difficult decision to make.

@b_1029 I forgot about BSB/ 'N Sync. I was team Howie/Lance though.

Diagnosis (if you've been): Unexplained

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): IUI #2 was yesterday
How are things going?: I went in for my mid cycle scan on CD10 last Friday and I had a follicle at 19 already. The next closest one was at 12. So we triggered on Saturday and did the IUI on Monday. If follies truly grow up to 2mm a day then the 12 could have gotten to an 18. But that’s very unlikely. My lining was at a 7, so that’s a great improvement.
The nurse for my IUI couldn’t find my cervix… This is only the second time this has happened (the first time was for the HSG and the guy said he was going to have to take out the speculum and use his fingers to find it… um, that’s awkward, but ok). The nurse dug around for 5 minutes, even getting out the long speculum, before she finally went and got another nurse. I’m so glad the second nurse came in because she was amazing and so kind. I was so nervous for the procedure anyways (last time it hurt really bad, lots of blood and cramping all day afterwards). This second nurse found my cervix no problem, no need for the long speculum. When she inserted the catheter and I started cramping she readjusted and then made me take some deep calming breaths and the pain went away. She then waited a little bit longer before injecting the sperm and then left the catheter in for a little bit. Everything she did was so calming and not rushed (I can’t imagine injecting sperm into a cramping uterus would be a good thing). I just feel so much better about this one than I did the last one. Now the dreaded progesterone starts!
Any questions?: Nope
GTKY: Who was your first celebrity crush? The first one I can remember is JTT! So cute and even today he’s still a hottie!
@kobrien827 Leo was my second crush! He was so cute. Sorry about your frustrating body.
@kiki047 I hope you don’t have another an-O cycle. That sucks that they couldn’t just put you on something on CD6, especially with your history. Even if it was still just a TI cycle. How did I forget about Casper!? He was another cutie!
@ruby696 FX the next few cycles go quickly for you.
@crookshanks10 You are always so positive, it’s infectious! I’m sorry you have to move on to IVF. IF sucks.
@b_1029 I think we have all been there, secretly hoping we are a SS but at the same time being 100% certain it wont work. IF plays mind games. Hang in there.
@prpl11butterfly That’s great that you were able to get a better deal on medication! The progesterone is not too bad. It’s more just a pain to deal with the liners than anything else.
@inthewoods23 I have to admit that I hated Elijah Wood lol. And it’s all because of Lord of the Rings. I was watching it with a bunch of friends and there’s a scene where he gets stabbed. My friend said he looked like he was constipated as he was withering in agony. Ever since then I cannot get that out of my head and I think he constantly looks like he’s constipated lol.

@inthewoods23 She couldn't find the entrance (like the entire cervix). She just kept digging around in my vagina lol. It sounds different from what you experienced. They have no problem threading the catheter through. Good luck today!

@inthewoods23 GL girl! Rooting for you!
@ruby696 Hope that it is not traumatic for you and all smooth sailing!

DH finally let himself feel his feelings when we went to bed last night. Poor guy was crying so much he left the bedroom to go cry by himself in the living room. It was tough to not follow him, but people grieve in different ways.
