Keeping on the wedding GTKY trend from last week.. what did everyone walk down the aisle to (or plan to walk down the aisle to)?

For me - Jack's Dream from the movie Oblivion. It's the very first song played when the movie starts. There's an ambient part in the beginning which I come out to, then we paused at the beginning of the aisle and started the walk down the aisle as the piano part plays. It was so epic, and so us!

Ours was a song that a family friend wrote specifically for us and played on a fife (kind of like a wooden flute). It was called Our Marrying Day. He even wrote up sheet music and had it framed for us and some family members.

I honestly couldn’t remember. I had to look it up, LOL! DH walked down the aisle to “Can’t Help Falling In Love” by Elvis and I did “Canon In D”.

*eta spelling...although a “tot aisle” sounds awesome!

Because @lillywonderland and I are soul sisters....I also walked down to “Canon in D”. The church we got married in was pretty strict about the music we played...I wanted so many instrumentals of popular songs for all the processional stuff but they said no.

My H walked down to Mendelssohn - Op.81 Tema con Variazioni
And I walked down to Mendelssohn - Op.13 No.2 in A minor (2nd Movement: Adagio non lento)
We had a quartet for all our music.

I also walked down the aisle to Canon in D.
My DH walked down (along with the wedding party) to the Imperial March.
We walked out to "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica. (One of DH's favorite bands).

We had a friend that played her Cello and her BF played a guitar so it was all instrumental.

@b_1029 and @lillywonderland I used Cannon in D, too! I got married in a church and they only allowed certain music. If I could have picked a non-traditional song, I would have used an instrumental version of "All I Ask of You" from "Phantom of the Opera", or maybe "Somewhere Over the Rainbow".

Traditional just isn't us so we wanted our wedding to reflect that to the dismay of our parents XD

Ooh these are all so good!

We haven't picked our song yet, so I'm really looking to y'all for some inspiration lol. Our theme song has been Perfect by Ed Sheeran, which I know is going to be so overdone by the end of this year, but we love it. We'll use it in some capacity, probably the duet with Beyonce, or else I'll walk down the aisle to the instrumental version.

@emeraldduchess I looove that song from Phantom. I'd for sure cry if I used that one.
@marebear15 my cousin used A Thousand Years by the Piano Guys to walk down the aisle and I still tear up when I hear it.
